Kai Chisaki flashed his eyes open and blinked as he recounted, at best, what just happened to the Yakuza he maintained, the Shie Hassaikai or 'Eight Precepts of Death' to some, as he pulled himself free from the ruined base that he was laying in, peering about in shock as the members... all of them were destroyed, some just knocked out while others... they were missing limbs and bleed on, the sound of emergency services closing in as he looked up.

Looking down on him, from a standing column of stone was the figure that destroyed it all, the tusk-like mask over its youth face as Eri was fast asleep or knocked out on his back, a shotgun that only fired rubber bullets slung on his shoulder as he peered down and spoke finally, the first time since he came here and destroyed the goals and organization that Kai wished to fulfill. "How does it feel, to lose it all because you were being too lethal with your methods, being so vile deep down for a goal that can not come back to life." The figure spoke behind the mask as he continued, Kai tried to memorize the appearance to know who dared to fight the Yakuza, but every time, a haze pounded his skull without mercy.

"I am no hero, and I never sought to be one, with how heroes are often daft mules and moronic cattle, but I know the mercy given and you have none to give, so as punishment, you will be part of the solution you sought. Your Quirk of 'Overhaul' now is within my hands and it will never be yours again, it is now 'God's Choice' to me." He stood up as Kai made to try and cause the ground to bend to his will and spike the punk, Eri being a casualty that he can just remake, but... nothing happened, no pulse, no movement, not a thing seemed to echo to him, it was like he was blind completely to the world and its ground.

"I could have killed you, ended your threat and life so that you will never endanger anyone ever again, but I won't... I have already stepped close to my true Quirk's threat and I sought to never do it again, consider yourself lucky... the time for organized crime has faded and may rise again one day, but now is the time of heroes and villains, the same old battle of good and evil." With a turn, the figure leapt up the shattered walls and into the open, Kai not staying conscious enough to see it happen before he faded to black, the sounds of sirens filling his unconscious mind as he toppled to the ground...

The figure leapt across houses and home with ease, his outward appearance calm and composed with the look of a trained hoodlum and marksman, the inward appearance was screaming his fool head off. 'WHAT THE ACTUAL CRAP DID I JUST DO!?' He landed and breathed as he knelt down on a flat roof, no entrances so he was good for the time being, unless heroes dropped by and tried to get him with some kidnapping charges or some other bull. 'Okay, calm down, you just faced off with a Yakuza... alone, with only rubber bullets... and Sin Bullet, but that is just a bullet-quirk that is meant for attacking the sins of the enemy, not rip them apart in such a way...' He ran a hand over his face as he breathed, he was young, he played stowaway to get out of America and find a real calling with his... Quirk, and he had an actual sense of morals, not some deluded sense of justice or treasure.

He repeated the process before he looked forward and huffed, slowing removing the girl on his back and laying her down with his jacket as comfort before he took out his phone from one of the pockets, scrolled through the contacts, and rang someone up. He waited as the phone tried to connect, many times he had done this and his constant contact...

"Heya, Grimm-kun!" ...Was a despised girl whose transformation quirk depends on the blood of living things, someone who was called a beast, a monster, and not given the proper treatment to make them worth being someone special, just led them to be a wandering villain... Or, well, before they met him and they hit it off as partners and friends. "Whatcha calling little ol' me for, hmm~~?" 'Grimm' rubbed his temples before he answered through the mask.

"Toga-chan, I just got back from the compound of the Shie Hassaikai, I have with me a girl whose very blood was being used to make... quirk-removal darts and solutions." The cheerful sound of Toga turned to a serious sound as she answered back.

"What do you need, Grimm, do you need me to kill some bullies?"

"No, I need a safe house and I need you there to help." An ample gasp rang out from her as Grimm continued. "I know, bad idea as this could be a problem if you go hunting for blood and you dice up the girl and cause her trust in us to falter, but I am taking the chance." A long silence filled in as Grimm continued, knowing that if left alone, Toga could do just that, but she had really turned her life around from being a murderer, she actually has a chance in society. "I realize that this is a big thing to be asking of you, but I have no clue how to protect a child here and I can't, in good faith, leave her out and about for another gang to grab her and use her like what was happening down in those dark tunnels." Finally, Toga spoke as she sounded remorseful.

"...This is really bothering you, enough to break your oath to 'never involve religion in your speech'..." On the other side of the line, a girl that looked like she was from a high school leaned against the wall that she was lingering on within an alleyway as she crossed an arm and spoke. "...Okay, I think I got a place, problem is that it is just barely outside the premises of a... certain high school and we could be faced with some big trouble if we slip up."

"Got it, I'll meet you there, keep the blood pumping into the night." Toga smiled a toothy grin as that was certainly Grimm-kun, it was code for 'It's time for an overnight rest', one that Toga couldn't happen but be giddy with as she replied.

"Sure thing, I'll get the whole thing set up in no time, just focus on the credibility when you get there, I'll get your blood pumping day through night." Grimm face-palmed as that was certainly Toga, her counter code of 'Give a pint and I'll be your girl', she was that type of girl with 'cute' and 'lovely' things, REALLY loving things in the crimson red of blood, he couldn't knock that desire out of her, but he mentally assured that she was just herself, he didn't want to change her anymore than what he already gave to her.

"Got it, see you soon." She voiced the same as the line cut and Grimm breathed before he looking to the girl and got back up from sitting down and lifted her up, holstering the shotgun and proceed to carry the fragile girl in bandages and a medical gown close to his chest before he took off again, in speeds that rivaled some of the greater heroes that he had encountered, but he never sought to be their equal or ally...

...As he chose a life of a vigilante and stood strong to the words and spite...

It was a surprise, a real surprise as the Hero Sir Nighteye peered through all standing records of the gang organization Shie Hassaikai, searching for the very one that will tell him what he was looking for, the reason why the base of operations for these Yakuza members had been destroyed in such a violent manner, why the members were beaten to an inch of their existence with high-impact rounds or were even on the edge of death, all of them skilled Quirk users... except their leader, their ACTUAL acting leader who was now diagnosed as Quirkless, but not a single thing stood out for him to understand or figure out what caused this sudden action, stopping with a look up and planted himself on the desk with downcast eyes, Quirk flashing to a hazy scene before flashing back. "Still nothing... who was behind this shattered case." He stopped with a firm glance up to an unexpected sight, one that he didn't expect to see, both his idol and former partner of All Might entering the office as he spoke. "All Might..."

"Nighteye, I heard you had stopped that gang of Yakuza and came to congratulate you.

"Indeed, but..."

"I know..." All Might reverted back to his real form, his form created by a disastrous battle with a hidden villain, of Toshinori Yagi as he walked over and took a seat before Nighteye. "This wasn't your doing one bit, the arrest belongs to you, but the actual event, the actual fight, Nezu and many within U.A. suspect that this has a connection to... many other villains taken down, even several heroes who were promoting their services for money and fame."

"I see..." Nighteye looked down at the papers again, slightly glad to not be hiding them from his former partner's eyes. "So what do you think it could be or who is behind these... uprooted villains?"

"We are still trying our best to figure it out, but one thing stood out between a few sites." From one of the pockets of the suit, Yagi pulled out an object and put it on the desk, removing his hand to revealing a large bullet, but it was not a real one as Nighteye picked it up to feel rubber...

"A rubber bullet... much like the ones riot police and prison security often carry for their non-lethal weapons."

"Indeed, several villains were found with these littering the ground, so we have come under the belief that whoever striking has been using a weapon that can either launch these from a long distance or fire them close enough to leave bruises and blisters." Yagi's eyes darkened as he continued. "Actual wounds, on the other hand, was something that nearly threw us off completely if the police didn't find this." He reached into the other pocket and planted a second rubber bullet on the deck, it's head smidgen with a bit of blood.

"This one..." Nighteye put the first on the desk and plucked the second up, his Quirk flaring up to see a fight scene, Kai Chsaki was fighting some unknown figure, but their face was shadowed by... something terrifying, like a embodiment of death itself was fighting and winning the battle and the war as one.

Nighteye didn't need to see anymore, but it was something crazy as he watched as the figure seemed to dash past and Kai looked pained with nearly slumping forward as a ghastly blue afterimage was pulled out of his back and the figure had it by blue threads before pulling the afterimage, detaching it completely before an orb of light was pulled out of it and absorbed, the image returning to Kai as he fully fell to the ground backward as the figure turned, the only thing he could pull from the vision was that, through the darkness and terror emitted was protruding tusks.

"...Nighteye. NIGHTEYE!" He blinked to All Might's concerned face, in his Muscle form, towering over him as he must have somehow fallen off his seat somehow before he found his voice.

"...All Might... I saw Kai... I saw him fight something like a agent of death and the last part of it was... tusks, there were tusks from the ghastly figure."

"Are you sure...?"

"It had to be..." The hero glanced to the rolling rubber as it stopped a foot from their position. "That must have had some of Kai's blood that allowed me to see what happened, but it is still uncertain, even how I even saw it..." All Might hummed as he glanced to the rubber bullet as well.

"...If that is true... Then we need to find this attacker and stop them before they do any more damage..."

Grimm landed, just barely outside the range of what U.A. can actually notice anyone for the most part and raised a brow to the place; three stories high, stairway up a story, two separate garages, and it just seemed to have stretched out a good distance to be a good housing unit to use; and glanced to Toga coming out of the building before he questioned her. "Okay, who did you rob and leech dry to get your hands on this place?"

"Oh, just a couple of muggers that thought they were going to get lucky when the call ended, but they just simply underestimated a girl with a certain set of skills." She grinned as Grimm rolled his eyes before she turned serious again, running a hair through the girl's off-white grey hair as she commented. "She looks so fragile... Hard to think that I had a rather 'peaceful' life while she was used like some freaking experiment..."

"I understand your history and I will not force you to speak further." Grimm answered as he walked past, Toga pausing before she smiled and followed with a playful bounce. "So, can you tuck her in while I deal with the other side of the business?"

"Of course, that's why you asked me over the other guys, I am much more dependable with this sort of thing." Lightly, Grimm shifted the girl into Toga's arms and she cradled the girl carefully before heading up a flight of stairs as Grimm turned and boot up a laptop on a large box that he was sure that Toga grabbed from his previous hideout, booting up several pages and working through them.

He could have made them untouchable, he had spent four years in-between his training teaching himself and Toga for a year how to operate under the radar and how to make illegal documents SO real, even an underground hero would be unable to hack it and Villains were always on the black list and, just as easily revealed themselves without recognizance, as he finished up a form for the house, claiming it as an independent household. Next, he forged and finalized documents to ensure that the girl was fully in his protection, but he left the name, date of birth, all of the general personal things open for her to fill out, it would take a number of four days before someone picked up on the new house owner and two more to call up the police if it was clear that she was more a kidnapped child than an actual resident.

He hummed before he nodded, it was all good, he just needed her to submit her name and he could work from there. He worked about to get the forms printed off and readied to be compared close up and find not a single piece of forgery, he spent a good four months figuring that out for good.

He paused from his activity as Toga came down and greeted him. "Hey, so is it all good now~?"

"Almost, I just need to get the actual details from the girl herself so I can edit the final pieces and give her a better home here." Grimm answered as he looked through everything and nodded before he reached into his jacket and tossed something to Toga, she caught it to find that it was a pair of blood bags, meaning two pints for her, as he spoke. "Take it, you vampire, I would hate for you to go wandering again without a pint in your veins."

"You're crazy~." Toga mused as she idly noted the name of the bags being a 'Nemuri Kayama' and made a note to see who exactly was this person before she used the blood in any way. "But~ you're my type of crazy!" She chuckled as she headed out, the prep in her step like a moment of the soul. "I better get moving, but... I'll be calling you up and asking if I could help with the little tyke, 'kay?"

"Of course, just call ahead and I can squeeze you in for a meet-and-greet." Grimm waved goodbye with a happy look in his eyes, continuing before Toga was far off before he dropped the limb and huffed. "First friend and partner is a blood leech with a transformation quirk... surprising that my life hasn't gotten any more crazy." He turned to the housing and huffed before rolling up his sleeves as he spoke. "Well, better make this place much more, I can't just have a plain house with a house guest here."

He wasn't worried if someone was going to drop by as the doors were locked up and, if any asked, he was Quirkless, giving him a free pass as long as he had a stable income. But he had no reason to be spiteful, he just had all of the time in the world to baffle those around him, long enough and well enough that none would ask about his actual Quirk, the Quirk from the depths of darkness itself, 'Soul Robber'...

Night soon came to be, but Grimm was not exhausted as he checked it off and made mental notes and actual plans to get the improvements together for the next day, surprising that the girl hadn't woken up yet, he heading up and tip-toeing over to where she was resting and found that she was sleeping in the bed while gripping onto a stuffed animal of a unicorn, he stopped himself from face-palming, Toga's 'contribution' to the cause as he breathed and smiled before pulling the mask off and stepping over, giving a kiss to her forehead as he spoke. "Sweet dreams, Princess, dream pleasant dreams and never let any tamper with your heart or mind, you have been through a lot." He straightened up and tested the window, finding it locked and nodded as he left the room behind, pulling the mask back on as he locked the door, safety measure and all, as he headed out, locking up with only a sole light from the upstairs hall the only thing of light, even then difficult to see in the first place with some curtains he had set up.

He paused before he jumped, heading above the buildings as he leapt from one to the next, freedom of the air itself before he came to a stop on the top of some train station, 'Tatooin Station' from the looks of it and flopped down as he stared out across the streets and roads, a view was not the plan now as he searched the ways to find the places he needed to go to and, not spotting them there, jumped off for the air to bend around him before sending him soaring, any lingering cons that a Quirk COULD give him reduced and even removed if he trained it hard enough to his standards.

With that flight, he took to jumping among the buildings once more before he finally found a store that he was looking for and smiled. "Well, that was..." The whole front erupted in an explosion as the normally blue eyes, changing from a ruby red to hide his features further, were white in a neutral look of displeasure before red consumed and he looked up to the clouds. "What the heck, is my luck that bad or is there actually some stupid religion that is trying to enforce their rules?" He shook his head as six robbers busted out and laughed as Grimm hung his head. "What the heck even..." He shook his head once more before pulling the shotgun free and jumping to ground level, landing silently before he fired a single round, the first thug going down within the second of getting hit with a high-speeding rubber bullet as he pumped it to the shock of the last five.

"Anyone else going to give me trouble?" Sadly, it was all of them as the bags were tossed as they came at him with their Quirks, but he didn't falter as one got a stock in the back for rushing forward with the earth itself, another got a shot between the eyes for trying to be a exact shot with metal rods.

He sidestepped the third that came at him with a bladed arm and fired, launching the poor fool down the street before jabbing the fourth in the throat as she gasped for air before the stock bashed her upward and Grimm turned to the last who was basically a scorpion. "You have two options, be smart and walk away or I come over there and beat discipline into you the hard way, I have a client to tend to in the morning." The criminal glanced at his fallen allies and back to Grimm who pumped the shotgun with a threatening aura. "...Am I taking a 'no' from you?"

"Yes, uh, no, ummm..." The Quirk deactivated and the guy fled with tears in his eyes as Grimm huffed before he holstered the shotgun once more and rubbed his temples as he walked into the store and found a cowering cashier to which he spoke.

"Hey..." She glanced up fearful as Grimm continued. "Get on the phone and get the police over here, five out of six of those robbers are pummeled outside, the sixth booked it in terror, so I would like it if you just get a hero or some police over here." He gestured to the mess outside as the cashier looked up from the counter and to the mess before back as she whispered.

"What do you want...?"

"I came for..." He huffed as he whispered to himself. 'I can't believe I am saying this...' He spoke again with resolve. "I am here for a order of paint, lavender or pink, six cans of the stuff and some planks of wood, eight pieces?" To this, the cashier perked up.

"Oh, certainly! I just..." Without pause, Grimm reached into his pocket and pulled out five thousand yen, the cashier stone-facing as Grimm spoke.

"I know it isn't right, giving this much for simple supplies, but I am kind of on a deadline with a client and I don't want to make her more upset than what she already faced from her previous home, it was bad so I want to give her something happy to see."

"...We will get your order together immediately." The cashier shakily stalked off and Grimm didn't blame her, they were just robbed seconds against and now had to get to work on paint cans and the like for a customer that just came in. He stashed the shotgun and took to one of the walls in waiting as someone called the police finally, the five still there from the beating he gave.

The whole place was scoped out and, while many of the officers cast him a suspicious glance, he played the sickly guy SO well that they, just as quickly, branched away while wondering if there was some disease going around. Grimm just watched throughout the fits, pleased to be clearing out his lungs some while even uncovering his mouth to expel some lodged dust as well before covering again, as he took to walking around and finally found the unloading zone as the cashier from before greeted him with a bow with several others. "How can we ever thank you..."

"You can start by providing viable alternates if your stores can't carry the goods I would be needing later on." Grimm huffed as he pulled out the list and checked it off, the wood was doubled on purpose while the cans were a light violet as he checked them over as he continued. "Now where would one get a good child's night light and toys?" It soon came to be a short hunt for the goods as he seemed to be enjoying the fact that he was overpaying in some regards and freaking the people out, some shops have no tact sometimes...

Grimm slightly was pleased with his haul and headed out to deliver the goods to the housing before he remembered something. "Right... I need to check in on the old man." He dropped them off inside before heading out again, this time going to the most secured location, the 'Tartarus' prison, and phased through everything as a wisp of smoke before he found his target, the sightless man glancing up as Grimm condensed right back to normal and the cameras seemed to shut down before he spoke. "Hello, All for One."

"Why, Grimm, what an honor to see you again, I..."

"Cut the monologue, One, You know that I am not here for idle chatter, I have ten minutes before the camera come back online and I wanted to be sure that you were doing well."

"Ah, you did seem to know far more than you should have, always the classic Reaper." Grimm glared before All for One spoke again. "I am surprised that Himiko Toga sided with you over the League when I was defeated, they have truly lost a valuable ally."

"What I do with those that ally with me and are my foes is my own business, not yours, old man."

"Have some respect for your elders, were you raised to be a savage?"

"I was raised as a tool and I said no before walking away, my elders are less human than you are." Grimm countered, All for One huffing before he spoke again.

"You know, you could have healed All Might, given him far more power and had ceased his senseless search for a pupil and I would have been trapped in an iron lung in a permanent fashion, but you simply walked away, did you believe that fate had the script set before you in the first place?" Grimm turned and stared at the door as he mused.

"...My Quirk is not that of healing, you know that." He glanced over his shoulder and continued. "I have taken many before me, I have given chances to those that are needing it and ripping their hopes apart when they let the power overwhelm their humanity." He stayed as One listened. "You were the god among villains, an idol to be inspired by and to fear. My Quirk shares yours in taking and giving, but my own power bears the burden of taking the soul, ripping it from their bodies if I was never careful." He faced All for One fully as he continued. "I could have healed the hero, but I recognized something after I heard of your fight through the connections I made, so young and full of hope."

"Yes, what is that?"

"That this society has depended on the hero known as All Might for too long, he is but a single pillar, only one man and human at that." Grimm raised a finger as he continued. "This land is complacent on him that they never questioned why the single pillar, why only him to stand against the tide." A smile slipped across All for One's face as Grimm pocketed his hands again. "He has borne the responsibility of Nana Shigaraki, grandmother of Tomura Shigaraki, of being the Symbol of Peace for these people, but his time as a hero has past for only brief moments of his Muscle form, you have destroyed the base, but upon its foundation, others will build from the rubble."

"It is up to them to move forward in this land." Grimm about faced and headed to the door as All for One spoke for one last line.

"You would have been quite the accomplished villain."

"Yeah..." Grimm smirked under the mask. "...But I am too much of a vigilante to act otherwise." He faded to smoke once more and slipped through the halls once more, none the wiser as the system resumed its action as Grimm returned to the housing, reentering to the mostly-intact place.

The reason for that was because there was some additional lights on as he closed the door, locking it with the key before glancing around, searching for anyone or anything out of place before he stopped, the hair of his guest was seen slightly over the couch as he spoke. "Any reason why you are hiding behind the couch?" A pair of petite hands gripped the couch and slowly pulled up a terrified face with red eyes looking back to the blues of Grimm.

"A-A-Are you with the birdmen?"

"No, and I WILL put them down if they try this stupidity all over again, though their boss is out of a Quirk, so that is a plus." He remained where he was when he spotted her and rested his hands in the pockets as he continued. "As to where you are or what happened, I will tell you, but first, let's get some food in your stomach." She was, at least, embarrassed when her stomach did just that as Grimm chuckled as he removed his mask and stashed it as he headed for the kitchen. "Why don't you take a seat on the sofa and I will get you something worth eating."

It slightly unnerved him that she just followed the request without question, but he knew that look of terror, she was expecting that he would treat her poorly in the first place, just an extension of the 'birdmen', but he was not them, nor was his prideful family as he started making apple fritters, on a hunch of his own belief, nodding as he had everything ready before he returned to the girl and sat down beside her, she stark fearful to his presence as he said nothing to give her reason to start it off.

But five minutes passed and nothing, Grimm breathing as he rubbed his temples before he looked to the girl and spoke. "You know..." She seemed to flinch as he continued. "...You don't need to be afraid here, I am nothing like the birdmen one bit, and you are here for the long term, not as some mistreated child, not some object, you are here as a resident of this place, period." Her lips trembled as she spoke back meekly.

"But... I'm a monster... I'm cursed..." She lightly brought up her hands and Grimm frowned to the minor cuts that riddles them and who knows how many were hidden under the bandages. "I'm not a person, I'm..."

"No." Just one word and she flinched once more as Grimm spoke in counter of the opinion. "You have a life, anyone telling you otherwise is selling something to make them more respected in the dark." Grimm huffed as he focused forward, giving the girl the space that she needed and not the glare of a soul mad with her. "I am not leaving you out there to be plucked up, I am now your caretaker and I will ensure that you have an actual happy life, your past has scarred you, but it is nothing to my will, you will be someone loved." A glow filled her eyes as Grimm reached and rubbed her head as he continued.

"I will teach you how to be real, how to be happy, and I will teach you that you make the future now, you are never bound to the past forever." To a ding, Grimm removed his hand and stood up, the girl watching him as he popped into the kitchen and pulled out the fritters with a pair of mittens, turning off the oven and letting the treats cool off as he washed up briefly before turning back to them, pausing as he spotted that two of the sixteen were missing. He raised a brow to the hiding girl before he spoke. "You didn't need to take them so fast, they would still be hot." She popped her head out and Grimm kinda wished that he was wearing his mask now, the face-on-fire look she was giving while waving at her mouth was priceless as he covered his mouth at the moment. "Hey, let me get you something to cool off that burning tongue."

He fetched a plastic cup and filled it with water before handing it to her, she gulping it down with relief as Grimm just rubbed her head. "See, it's better to wait for some things to cool down, now I didn't want to make you uncomfortable, but I want to ensure that you do belong here, so could you tell me your name?" The cup lowered as the girl paused, a glint of hope hovering in those red pupils before she answered.

"...Eri..."

Grimm chuckled as he answered back. "Well said, Eri, you may call me Grimm, your new guardian, and the one to ensure that you will not be alone." It soon fell into getting the brief details together and compiling them on the papers before he made some adjustments, no one was going to take her away if he had anything to say about it, Eri had disappeared when the Shie Hassaikai was broken to pieces...

...But Rubi Chi was there to stay and recover from the horrible treatment she had faced...
