Baek Hani squealed as she finally latched her suitcase shut. Clothes were strewn everywhere, her books flying, hair accessories all over her text books and random pieces of candy lying here and there that she had munched on as she had excitedly packed.

Where was she going, you ask? Well, Baek Hani had just finished her six month course of nursing, and was soon about to start her second half. With exceptional marks that surprised even her professors, Hani had been jumping up and down in joy to tell Seung jo.

Until her mother-in-law suggested a far better idea.

"Hani aa, you've worked so hard! I'm sure Seung jo would like it even more if you went and told him your marks yourself! While your at it, you can spend your holidays with him too!" She had exclaimed excitedly.

Hani had beamed at the idea, and decided to surprise her beloved. She had booked a seat for the train that very afternoon, and she was ready to depart in a couple of hours.

Hani beamed as she stood up; her hair was a tangled mess and her dress crinkled, but none of that was visible over her bright, shining eyes as she continued to giggle excitedly. She hadn't seen Seung jo in six months. Although she called him daily, they hardly had a chance to talk much.

Now, despite what you may think, it wasn't because of Seung jo's cold direct attitude, but more of the fact that both their respective studies tired them out by the end of the day, especially with his internship. Most their call had lasted in a while was a minute, and that was usually just Hani filling Seung jo in on what was happening around the house. Eun jo's 'friend' (more like girlfriend that he wouldn't admit), eomma's new friend that had moved in the near neighborhood, abe oji's new break through in Pandai and appa's new invention in the kitchen.

She loved talking about her family, especially to Irie-kun, but she missed him. She missed having his arms around her at night, snuggling into his chest and inhaling his scent. His face in her hair, giving her soft kisses when he thought she was asleep. Or when he was tired. Hani sighed wistfully at that thought, her eyes dying to see her husband.

"Oi! Hurry up," Eun jo's annoyed voice traveled up the staircase, "do you want to miss the train?"

Hani snapped out of her reminiscing and huffed at her brother-in-law. What a little jerk. But oh well...he was cute when he was mad. Kinda like Seung jo. Hani shook her head and opened the door, dragging her suitcase of with her. She was smiling ear to ear as she descended the stairs, struggling to bring the suitcase down with her.

"Give me that, idiot." Eun jo rolled his eyes at her, grabbing the bag. Hani was in too much of a good mood to even say anything mean back, so she just beamed at him. He rolled his eyes harder, struggling to keep the grin from breaking out on his face. Sie-omeoni was waiting at the bottom of the stairs, her all excitement rivaling Hani's.

"Oh Hani. Have fun darling, and don't forget to call us when you reach home-" she fidgeted with the collar of Hani's dress "-ok?"

Hani nodded, only half-hearing what she said. Eun jo resisted the urge to roll his eyes again, choosing to shake his head at the girls' antics.

"Can we go now?" He asked, irritated. Hani nodded at him, and he walked out of the door, suit case in one hand and the car keys in another. As he shoved her bag in the back, Hani got in quickly. As he started the car, sie-omeoni came out crying "Have a safe trip honey!". Hani waved good bye. She could hardly wait.

Hani stumbled out onto the platform, her hand hastily grabbing her suitcase. She had finally arrived. It had seemed like forever- the train had so many unnecessary stops. Hani beamed nonetheless; she was going to Seung jo. She was nearly home. She quickly ran out of the station, trying to hail down the next taxi she could see. To her luck, there was one just waiting for her and she sighed in relief as she quickly got in. She told the driver Seung jo's address and settled in, her heart pumping faster and faster the closer they got to his home.

What will he say when he sees me? Will he be shocked? Hani giggled at the thought. Seung jo, with his mouth hanging slightly open, looking at her in shock. Oh, how adorable. Maybe he'll hug me in surprise!

This went on for a while, until they reached the end of the apartment building. Hani got out quickly, excitement coursing through, blood pumping rapidly and a spring in her step. As she reached the elevator, suddenly doubts started climbing her.

What if he's busy? Didn't he say he has an exam coming up? She thought hesitatingly What if he's angry to see me? He did say he would be coming soon; I could've waited...doubts continued to plague her mind as she reached his floor, and the elevator opened with a ding interrupting her thoughts. She nervously tread forward, all of a sudden unsure of her decision.

This is ridiculous. I'm his wife. Of course he'll be excited to see me! With renewed resolve, Hani shook her head and determinedly knocked on his door.

Once.

Twice.

Three times.

She frowned. She decided maybe he was in the toilet or shower, and she should try calling out his name. "Seung jo!"

No response.

Hani's frown widened and she racked her brain as to where he could be. It was midday on a Thursday, which meant- he would still be on his shift at the hospital! Hani smacked her head. No wonder Eun jo called her stupid. Well, if he was at work, he was about to get off soon. Her face suddenly brightened. She should go surprise him there! She could look around the hospital he worked at this way too!

Happy with her brilliant idea, Hani looked at her bag. She couldn't carry that with her everywhere, she should just leave it here. She looked at the password key, and saw that it was six numbers. Maybe his birthday? Hani tried multitudes of passwords she could think of- his birthday, their anniversary, graduation days, the date- but to no success. She racked her brain for information that could help her. She should know the most important dates in her husbands life, dammit!

She couldn't think of any she hadn't tried, and was starting to become irratble. She decided to just jam in random numbers, or ones that she didn't think would work- Eun jo's birthday, appa's, abeoji's, eomma's, his parents anniversary...her birthday. It was unlikely it would work, but anything was worth a shot right? Kotoko punched in her password and clocked enter, and it opened. Hani sprung back in shock, her eyes widening. Seung jo had put her birthday as his password. She could feel her smile enlarging rapidly, and she could feel her heart about to burst. As emotionless as he was sometimes, Seung jo was a true romantic.

She quickly shoved her things in and quietly closed the door. She wanted to see him even more now than ever. She called another taxi, asking them to take her to the hospital. As he dropped her off, Hani jumped out once again with a smile threatening to break her face. She crept in, looking for anyone she could ask. She saw a nurse pass by, she was holding a bunch of official-looking papers. Hani walked up to her.

"Excuse me, where could I find the pediatrics department?" Hani asked. The nurse responded with a smile, gesturing toward the direction she had just come. "Just down that way. Keep going straight and you'll see the sign."

Hani nodded at her in thanks and walked off, a spring back in her step. As she reached the sign with pediatrics written in bold, colored letters, her heart beat quickened and she slowed her steps, nervous but excited. She crouched around the rooms, trying to catch a glimpse of Seung jo.

"-entirely too serious. Loosen up, jeesh." It was a female voice, and Hani dismissed it until she heard a very familiar voice respond back.

"Maybe you should consider being more serious. Might make a difference to your attention span."

Hani screeched to a halt, and she quickly hid behind the door and peeked in. There was Seung jo, sitting on one of the desks- a coffee in his hand. He looked as handsome as ever, his hair unruly but somehow a hot mess. His lean but strong stature hunched over and looking oh-so-gorgeous. Hani sighed in happiness, before she glanced at the person who huffed beside him.

It was a woman, maybe around the same age as them. She had soft brown hair, a tall, athletic build and amazing facial features. Hani felt her heart drop. Why am I always stuck in situations like these? How on earth does this old place in the middle of nowhere have not one, but two hot- shot interning doctors? Who were absolutely perfect for each other? Are you kidding me?

Hani saw them together, and tried to make herself feel better. They were just colleagues, nothing more. In fact, Naoki had told her about the woman...something like Eun Ju da. Yes, thats it. Ju da. What a pretty name. Hani could feel jealousy rise up in her but she refused to let it consume her. She was better than that. With a deep breath, she pushed the door open, and the two smiling faces instantly faced the door.

Hani looked straight at Seung jo, her heart pounding furiously in her chest and her smile breaking out once more. "Seung jo...annyeo haseyo. I've missed you..."

Baek Seung jo had had many shocks in his life- many had been good, many bad. But nothing had been like this.

"...annyeo haseyo. Bogo sip-eoss-eo..." Hani- his Hani, was standing two meters away from him, smiling widely, but her posture nervous. He was so shocked to see her that words failed him. Words never failed him. Ju da glanced between the two of them, confused and curious. "Ya...Seung jo. Do you know her?"

Did he know her? Hani walked closer to him and he finally found his voice back. "Hani...wha-what are you doing here?"

She giggled, wrapping her arms around him and putting her head on his chest. His arms automatically hugged her back, missing the warmth they had been so long denied. "Well, now that I'm on holidays, I thought it was a good time as any to come see you. Don't you think?" she asked with a nervous giggle.

Was it a good idea? It was a goddamn great idea. He had missed his wife badly. Seung jo hadn't known just how attached he had become to Hani in just a year until he'd moved here. He had missed her terribly, missed her scent, her laugh, smile, petite figure and even her annoying habits that tended to drive him crazy.

Instead of replying to her, he just hugged her tighter, hoping that would speak for him. Ju da cleared her throat, clearly pissed at being ignored. Until now, Seung jo had completely forgotten about her being in the room. He grudgingly let go of his wife, forcing himself to face the other woman in the room. But he didn't let go of Hani- or rather, she of him- she had snaked her tiny hands into his much larger ones and he complied without complaint.

"Ju da, this is Oh Hani, my wife. Hani, Ju da, she's also interning here." he gave quick, bored introductions. He could see Ju da's eyebrows rise as she gave Hani a once-over. He sighed internally. He knew Ju da liked him. She made it so painfully obvious- as did he, oppositely, making sure she knew he was married. That hadn't stopped her from trying though, and now that Hani was here, he knew this would end badly. For Ju da anyway.

But, as he stared at Hani's face, he realized it may just end badly for him too.

"Hani..."

Hani huffed as she continued to stride across the apartment, trying to get as far away as possible from her husband. She was circling around the coffee table, then the kitchen, walking down the hallway and back before she started again. She knew she looked ridiculous, but she was so mad she could hardly help it.

After that...pleasant introduction, Hani had asked Seung jo to show her around- after all, he was just about off and it was the perfect time to do so. He had agreed, but to both their dismay, so had Ju da. She insisted on walking with them, so she could 'double check' the patients while she was at it. Hani felt a twinge of annoyance but had let it pass, internally arguing with herself that maybe she was really just checking.

That idea was thrown out of the window five minutes later, when Ju da continued to follow them even out the door. She decided to make plans and go out to eat, at some restaurant. Hani was too hesitant to say no; she didn't want to seem like the possessive, overly jealous wife. Even though sometimes she was.

But oh my lord did she regret it. Hani had clenched the fork in her hand the entire time they ate, watching Ju da and Seung jo share inside jokes and her 'platonically' touch his arm. Was that woman blind? Could she not see that the man had his wife right next to him? Hani's glares could have pierced a hole into the woman. Seung Jo noticed this, and subtly tried to limit the jokes and touches, knowing right now, even if they were platonic Hani would kill not only Ju da, but him too.

After they finally finished, Hani smiled and got ready to leave. Seung jo went up to pay and Ju da turned towards her with a smile.

"So Hani? Right? Is this your first time coming here?" Ju da asked, casually flicking her hair behind her. Hani smiled and nodded.

"Yeah, Seung jo's been so busy so I thought I should come see him."

Ju da nodded, smiling lowly, but seemed more like a smirk. "Oh? Did he not tell you about the 3 week holiday we have, starting next week?"

Hani nearly dropped her purse. 3 week holiday? Seung jo?

Ju da continued. "The director came to us last Saturday, and he said they were getting a 3 fresh students from a nearby university for a while and so we could take some time off. I'm staying cause I just saw my family not that long ago. But surely Seung jo would have told you, his wife, that? Or maybe, he was planning on staying...Guess we will never know."

Hani's hands were shaking. In rage or fear, she didn't know. What if Seung jo really had gotten a 3 week holiday and hadn't been planning to come to her? Yes, he had said 'soon', but he had said it in a way so she would think in a couple of months for maybe 2 days. She had flown here in such excitement the minute she had received word of her achievement and holidays, but Seung jo might have not even been planning on spending his with her. Was she bothering him? Right now? Coming here at a time like this? All her doubts came back to her, nearly knocking her off her feet. She could hardly think rationally, and Ju da wasn't helping. Smiling at the returning Seung jo.

Seung jo walked right up to them, and glanced at Hani. "Ready to leave?"

Hani looked up, and forced a smile, not quite reaching her eyes. Not trusting herself to speak, she nodded at him and waved a small bye at Ju da, again with a forced smile, and quickly exited the building.

Seung jo frowned after his wife, unable to understand what had happened in the space of one minute that he had left her with Ju da. Ju da was smiling at him, and he knew she had done something- of course she had, Hani wasn't one to be so flighty.

He turned towards Ju da and nodded at her politely. "I'll see you later. Good night."

He walked out of the restaurant, heading towards his wife, who looked lost in thought. "Ya. Ken chana?"

Hani looked up at him, and again forced a smile. He felt his heart clench, being unable to understand the sudden change. After they hailed a taxi, they sat in total silence, lost in their own thoughts. Seung jo could not think of anything that could have pissed her off- but then again, Hani tended to stick to the most irrelevant things.

When they finally reached the apartment, he quickly punched in the key and walked inside, wanting to find out what was wrong as soon as possible.

"Oh Hani. What happened?" Je twisted her around until she was face to face with him, and his eyes bore into hers.

Hani suddenly felt all her sadness disappear, all being replaced by anger.

"When were you planning to tell me about the 3 week holiday? Were you going to, at all?" she hissed, mad.

Seung jo was taken aback. Of all the things, that had not been what he expected. How would she even know- Ju da. dammit. Seung jo stared down at his wife, and evenly tried to open his mouth but she strode off, ignoring him, grumbling loud enough for him to hear.

"3 weeks! Were you ever gonna tell me? Were you even going to come home?"

She started pacing back and forth, around the table, into the kitchen, and down the hallway. Their current predicament.

"Hani..."

She huffed, her stride enlarging as she tried to get further apart.

"I booked my ticket as soon as I could, just to come see you- just to tell you that I had passed my bloody nursing exams, and I we could now finally stay together! I'm obviously the only one who cared, because you weren't even planning on coming home to me-"

Seung Jo froze. She passed? They could live together? He could hold her in his arms every night, bask in her sweetness, grab her, kiss her, see her whenever he wanted?

He was barely listening to her now. He was to caught up in his fantasy, until he could hear he angry sobs breaking down bitterly.

"-weren't even planning on coming home for me. Why am I the only one who cares?! And why, oh why, do I have to deal with another girl- haven't I had enough-"

She was hushed suddenly. Hani was turned around and pushed against the wall, her arms up above her in a tight hold and her husband growling down at her, his lips attached to hers, forcefully pushing into her mouth to claim her- to claim what was, as they both knew, his.

He kissed her hard, forceful and primal, pushing in all the feelings they had knocked back down for the past 6 months into a dominating, powerful kiss.

When they finally broke apart, Hani breathed heavily, forgetting everything that occurred as her husband made her body come alive once again. Seung jo hadn't stopped- he was latched to her neck, just as dominating as before.

"...Seung j-jo aa.." Hani moaned out. "What are yo-you doing?"

Seung jo trailed his kisses up her jaw, one of his hands now slowly trailing down her body, igniting every inch of it. "What does it look like? Claiming my wife, of course."

Hani moaned as his hand kneaded her roughly, his legs pushing hers apart.

"I was planning on surprising you. I was going to come by tonight, sneak into our room and surprise you thoroughly."

Hani moaned again and relief coursed through her. Seung jo was going to come home. She had just overreacted, again.

"As for Ju da. Baek Hani, listen well; I love you. If I liked another, I never would have married you. Your it for me. Never, ever doubt that. Why do you always doubt me?" his hands trailed over the hem of her dress, slowly sneaking up her thigh. "Looks like I have some proving to do. Baek Hani, you should always remember that I love you; your mine, just like I'm yours."

Hani felt relief and giddiness pass through her; she loved it when her husband said those things to her. It wasn't exactly rare, but not common either- especially since they spent so little time together as it was. But that was about to change.

"Now that that is out of the way, Baek Hani, I've missed you." He kissed her again, his fingers now stroking her center and pushing her higher and higher up the wall. "I want to spend our afternoon showing you who you really belong to- me."

He grabbed her roughly, his eyes piercing through hers and dark with lust as he hauled her into their bedroom. He shoved her against the wall again, taking off his shirt and her dress as he did.

And well, you know what happened. Hani was assured, very thoroughly might I add, who she belonged to and why she should never worry.
