Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Arial Attraction. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Azur Lane, Shanghai Manjuu, Ximen Yongshi and a few others do.
Kaga knew the wars she had been a part of were a very honorable campaign. She took things a lot more seriously then her more youthful appearance would dictate.
She blinked before something buzzed overhead. She blinked and looked at her hand.
She hadn't launched any of her paper planes. She looked up to see a being float down but never touch the water.
It was a strike fighter, a jet fighter. She instantly noted it was what would be called a 'orange blossom' fighter.
The back of him was very green as it would be during the war in another dimension, under his arms were the engines that kept him in the air. She could see the 'tail' of his plane under going down his spine and ending at just below his hips.
He wore a greenish teal jacket and black pants along with greenish gloves.
Kaga instantly remembered the being as he floated down till, he was only a few feet above the water, above her.
"Akihiko?" She asked before the young man titled his head before floating closer with curiosity. She hummed before his feet just barely skimmed the water.
"I do not know that name. Who are you? I am Heiki." He slowly circled around Kaga.
She blinked at him as he looked over her before she once again found her own voice.
"I'm Kaga, Aircraft Carrier of the 1st division… Your design, its…" Kaga started to say before Heiki hummed and crossed his arms with amusement.
"Sakura Empire? I heard; I awoke in this from... I've been traveling in this direction for 2 hours. You've been the first being I've found since I started flying." Kaga looked over Heiki.
She knew her friend, he had always come to visit her, as she had been the first Sakura Empire ship girl he had met.
She hummed and reached out towards him. Kaga could see some remnants of his former self remained within him while he stopped circling.
His engines created ripples on the war. She gently cupped his chin, he continued to gaze at her with curiosity.
"You woke up looking like this?" She asked. Heiki nodded before Kaga gently pushed herself back.
She studied the being in front of her. Kaga didn't believe it, she also didn't know what to think, the warrior was a soldier, yet no planes had been created in such a manner.
Yet the warrior in front of her was indeed a plane, something completely different then anything she had sent.
That was when they heard noise and Heiki flew into the air before blasting off in another direction.
"WAIT!" He turned to look at her before smiling.
"We're meet again. I can track the energy keeping you alive… Strange, I want to read more into that." He turned and blasted himself off into the distance.
Kaga turned to her sister who caught up to her before crossing her arms.
"Little sister, who was that?" She heard from Akagi asked before she turned and looked to the side.
"A friend, who you just scared off… Someone I just believe you scared off… And needs help." She turned and left, Heiki would return. He never broke a promise, right or wrong, if he said he would return?
He would return. She hummed and noticed her sister had no idea what she meant.
Akagi probably hadn't seen the warrior, just the fact that he had flown off into the distance and could fly.
(With Heiki)
Heiki clutched at his head before he continued flying through the air. he turned to look back at Kaga before he sighed and revved his engines.
He would have to rest soon. Heiki could only keep flying for a few hours at a times. Heiki rubbed at his head on last time and continued to fly through the air.
He had no idea where he was going. Heiki knew he would return to meet with Kaga again, he knew her from somewhere else. He didn't know what to think at the moment. he rubbed at his eyes and then sighed.
"I'm going to have my brain split open at this rate." Heiki muttered before finally deciding he needed rest. He set course for the first island he could find. He'd get some sleep and then continue his flight again.
He set down on an island before yawning and starting to sleep. He closed his eyes and pulled his legs up to his chest.
He had no idea what would be happening soon, what he was and why anything would be happening.
That he was just a pawn in a bigger game… But then again, his creators didn't know their pawn was much more important to their plans then they thought.
Kaga approached the island. Heiki could open his eyes only a bit.
He blinked in confusion.
