Soon Shadow came back with more cookies. Tanis wasn't hungry, and she didn't know what to do.
"Let's have these downstairs. Okay Darla?" Shadow said.
"Okay. Are you coming, Tanis?" Darla asked. Tanis shook her head. Darla shrugged and the girls went downstairs.
"Why did I say no?! That stupid doll is gonna attack me!" Tanis said. Then Tabitha came to life.
"Stupid, huh? I'm smarter than you think! I'll pull your brains out!" Tabitha said.
"Oh yeah? I'd like to see you try!" Tanis challenged. She used her paper skin to grab Tabitha.
"Hehe!" Tabitha laughed and took out a big axe and cut Tanis's paper skin.
"Ouch!" Tanis dropped Tabitha.
"Thanks!" Tabitha began attacking Tanis.
"HELP!" Tanis yelled. Nobody came.
This is it. I'm gonna die! She thought. She kept screaming. That's it. It's time to fight for myself! Tanis decided. She grabbed Tabitha and took her axe.
"Put me down you toilet paper roll!" Tabitha yelled. Tabitha jumped out and grabbed her axe again. Tanis didn't know what to do. Suddenly Darla ran in.
"TANIS!" She yelled and grabbed Tabitha. Then she threw her out the window.
"Thanks." Tanis said.
"I'm sorry, Tanis. I shouldn't have ignored you." Darla apologized.
"I forgive you, but how will we tell Shadow about the doll?" Tanis asked. Shadow came upstairs.
"Where's Little Tabitha?" She panicked.
"She's gone, Shadow." Darla said.
"She almost killed me!" Tanis said and showed her skin was torn.
"Tabitha did that? I'm glad she didn't hurt me!" Shadow said. The girls were glad Tabitha was gone. Shadow became nicer to Tanis now and Tanis was no longer jealous.
