Class 1-A had a problem. Well, it wasn't a "problem", per say, but they were worried about two of their classmates. For awhile now they had noticed that Midoriya Izuku and Jirou Kyouka had been acting differently, in a blink and you'll miss it sort of way.
Whenever Midoriya or Jirou were with the others, they would act like they always do. Yet when the two of them were alone was when they would act differently. How did the rest of Class 1-A know this? There had been times when one of the other members of Class 1-A would walk into the same room that Midoriya and Jirou occupied and while the two acted how they usually did, the one who walked in on them could have sworn they saw otherwise.
Everyone wanted to know what was going on and it was the resident fluffy alien who pitched the idea of what to do.
"We should spy on them!"
"M-Mina! We can't spy on them!" exclaimed Momo, looking scandalized. "Do you know how wrong that would be?!"
"Well we don't really have any other choice. If what's going on is what I think it is, we can't just go up and ask them. They'll just deny it," stated Mina with a pout. She then gave a off a grin. "By spying on them though, we'll get to what's really going on because they'll think they're all alone!"
"I…I don't know…"
"Don't you want to know if there's something wrong with Kyouka-chan though?"
That was all Momo needed to agree to Mina's plan.
-:-
Later on, Class 1-A (minus Midoriya and Jirou) was gathered in Ochaco's room (as it was the only one with enough room to fit everyone), ready to start spying.
"Do you have any idea how dishonest this is?!" exclaimed Iida as he moved his arms robotically. "I am most ashamed of you, Yaoyorozu! I thought you would have known better!"
Momo was starting to feel guilty, but was saved by Mina.
"Oh come off it, Iida! This is for the best! If anything, YOU should be the one who would approve of this."
"I would never approve of this!"
"Then you're not doing a very good job as our Class President."
"Wh-What?" questioned the speedster, wondering how he was failing as Class President if he refused to let the others spy on Midoriya and Jirou.
"Something is clearly wrong with Midori and Kyouka-chan and isn't it your job as Class President to make sure your fellow students are doing well?"
"She's got a point, dude," said Kirishima.
"But to spy on them? Surely we could just ask them, can't we?" questioned Iida, looking conflicted.
"I don't like the idea of spying on Deku-kun either, Iida, but if this is the only way to help him, then we might not have a choice," said Ochaco, her worry evident.
After a few moments of inner conflict, Iida relented.
"Very well, but this is the only time I will allow this! After this, no more spying!"
"You've got it, Prez!" said Mina with a grin.
"Hey! That's fine and all, but why the fuck am I here, damn it?!"
Everyone turned to the resident bomb boy who did not look happy to be there if the deadly glare that promised death he had was any indication. Although his current anger might have been because he was currently taped to the wall to keep him from doing anything.
"Don't you want to know what's going on with Midori-bro, Baku-bro?" asked Kirishima, looking at his best friend.
"Fuck no! Not let me down or all of you will be sorry!"
"Sorry, Bakugou, but if we did that then we might not be able find out what's going on between Kyouka-chan and Midori!" exclaimed Mina. "You do seem to purposely start stuff with Midori after all."
"Like hell I do!" yelled out Bakugou, denying the accusation.
Most of Class 1-A gave him a look that said that they didn't believe that for a moment.
"Everyone, I think it's time to begin," said Momo as she turned on the flat screen TV she created and had connected to the spy camera she set up downstairs.
Once powered up, everyone got a good look at the commons room and saw Jirou sitting on the couch, looking through stuff on her phone.
"Where'd you even set up the camera, Yaomomo?" asked Kaminari.
"In the house plant. It was the only spot where the camera could see everything."
"Guys! Shush! Midoriya's coming!" exclaimed Hagakure.
Everyone focused back on the screen, waiting.
-:-
Izuku made his way into the commons room, where he was surprised to see that Jirou was the only one there.
"Where's everyone else?" asked the green-haired boy, looking around for the others.
"Don't know. They all probably went out to do their own thing or something. I can't even hear them in building," explained Kyouka with a shrug, not taking her eyes off her phone.
"Oh. Okay then."
Kyouka glanced over at the boy, a smirk making its way onto her face. If it was just her and Izuku, that only meant one thing.
"Izuku!" called out the rocker girl, causing the boy to jump at the sudden shout.
"H-Hai?"
She patted the spot on the couch next to her. "Sit with me."
Izuku let out a chuckle at the simple request. "If that's what you want…"
He made his way over to the couch and sat down next to the purple-haired girl. He wasn't done just yet though.
"Eep!"
Kyouka let out a loud squeak of surprise, which then turned into a fit of giggles, when Izuku grabbed her and pulled her onto his lap.
(Everyone stared at the screen with wide eyes, shocked by what they just witnessed.
"D-Dudes! Did MIDORIYA just do that?!" questioned Kaminari.
"This does seem quite out of character for Midoriya," stated Tokoyami.
"Never mind that! Kyouka-chan actually giggled!" exclaimed Mina with a grin. "I knew it! They were seeing each other behind our backs!"
Ochaco felt as if she was just stabbed in the chest with a rusty knife.)
"Izu-kun! Warn me next time you do that!" said Kyouka, but was not that upset over it if her giggles were anything to go by.
"But if I did that, then you wouldn't get surprised," replied Izuku as he nuzzled the girl. "I like when you're surprised. You're cute when you squeak. Then again, you're cute all the time."
A blush appeared on her face from Izuku's words, causing Izuku to chuckle.
"As if you're one to talk. You constantly remind me of a fluffy little puppy. So if anything, you're the cute one in this relationship."
She smirked as she watched her boyfriend blush and try to stutter out a response. She grabbed his face and pulled him forward to place her lips onto his. When they broke apart, she saw that he still had a blush, but seemed a lot calmer.
"…I still think you're cuter than me."
Kyouka rolled her eyes at his response. "Agree to disagree then."
("Why don't we have any popcorn?! This is better than any romance movie!" exclaimed Hagakure, bouncing up and down in excitement.
"Since we finally know why they've been acting differently, shouldn't we stop this now?" asked Shouto.
"Not yet!" yelled out Mina. "We need to know why they've been keeping this a secret!")
"Kyouka?"
"Hm?"
"Do you think we can tell the others about us soon? I'm kind of getting tired of having to sneak around just to spend time with you."
Kyouka let out a sigh. "Same here, but you know why we're keeping this a secret. For one thing, Mina will try and butt in with romantic advice."
(Mina pouted at hearing this)
"The grapist will whine and bitch because someone got a girlfriend before he did."
("Why shouldn't I?! It's not fair that Midoriya of all people got a girlfriend before me!" cried Mineta, tears of sorrow pouring out from his eyes.
He was silenced by a hard smack from Tsuyu's tongue.
"Quiet you. Maybe if you weren't so creepy, girls would like you, gero.")
"And you and I both know that if Bakugou knew you were happy about something he would try and ruin it for you," finished Kyouka, looking her man in the eye. "He's an asshole like that."
(A growl could be heard from the ashy blond as he tried to free himself from the wall.)
"It's just better if fewer people knew about us."
"Yeah, I guess you're right," replied Izuku with a sigh. "Speaking of which, I'm planning on visiting my mom this weekend. You want to come? She's been asking when I was going to bring you over again."
(Class 1-A were surprised that Midoriya had introduced Jirou to his mom.
"Man, Midoriya must really like Jirou if he already introduced her to his mom," said Kaminari.
"Just how long have Midoriya and Jirou been seeing each other?" questioned Ojiro.)
"Sure, I've got nothing going on this weekend," replied Kyouka with a shrug. "I like your mom and I've been meaning to ask her something."
"Huh? What did you need to ask her?" asked Izuku, looking at his girlfriend with a confused look.
She glanced away with a blush, tapping her earphone jacks together in a shy manner. "I was w-wondering if she'd be w-willing to teach me how to c-cook Katsudon."
Izuku's eyes widened slightly. "Katsudon?"
Looking back at him, she explained. "I know Katsudon is your favorite, but you only get to eat it when you visit your mom. I just thought you'd like the idea of also having it here at the dorms once in awhile."
("It's official. Midoriya is a lucky bastard for finding a girl who is willing to cook for him," said Kaminari in a deadpan tone.
This earned him a smack to the back of the head, courtesy of Tokoyami and Dark Shadow.)
Izuku stared at Kyouka in shock before he brought her into a fierce kiss, which she returned just as strong. When they separated, they pressed their foreheads together.
"Have I ever told you how much I love you?" asked Izuku with a slight grin.
"Many times and it never gets old," replied Kyouka with a giggle.
Izuku chuckled at that. "You know, I think it's only fair that I return the favor. What's your favorite food?"
"I'm not telling~"
The future Symbol of Peace could only pout, causing his girlfriend's smirk to widen. "Why not?"
"Because then you'll cook it for me."
"But I want to."
("It's official. Kyouka-chan is a lucky girl for finding a guy who actually wants to cook for her," said Mina in a deadpan tone.
This earned her a smack to the back of the head, surprisingly from Ochaco.)
"I know you do, Izu-kun, but you already do so much for me as it is. You don't need to cook for me too," stated Kyouka, placing a kiss on his cheek.
"But…"
"No buts. If you want to do something for me, I do know one thing you can do."
"What's that?"
He watched as her blush returned and she started to fidget.
"C-Could you give me another m-massage later tonight?"
"…You must really like my massages," replied Izuku with a laugh. "I've given you one every night this week."
(Everyone's jaws dropped at that. Midoriya has been giving Jirou massages and no one knew about this?!)
"I can't help it!" squeaked out Kyouka. She started tapping her earphone jacks together again. "Y-you have magic hands. They…make me feel good."
"Oh? Well if that's the case, maybe we should get started a little earlier than planned," said Izuku, his grin widening a bit.
The next thing Kyouka knew was that she letting out a loud gasp as one of Izuku's hands started to caress her hips, thighs, and butt, while his other hand snaked its way under her shirt and caressed her breasts.
"I-Izu-kun!" gasped out Kyouka, a heat building up in her.
(Everyone was a deep red as they watched the scene. NO ONE was expecting to see this happen, let alone MIDORIYA being the one to start it.
"Sacré bleu," said Aoyama, turning away in embarrassment.
"D-Dudes! When the hell did Midori-bro become such a ladies' man?!" questioned Kirishima, wide-eyed.
"I'm more concerned that this might be an imposter," said Shoji, his eyes closed. "But something tells me it's not."
The girls could only watch on in silence, each wondering if Midoriya had a brother or two. All except for Ochaco though, who was filled with anger and jealousy as she watched Deku make out with Jirou.
Everyone's attention was then drawn to the bedroom door when Iida threw it open and stomped his way out, causing everyone to scramble to stop him.)
"What's wrong, Kyouka? I thought you said that you liked my magic hands?" questioned Izuku before going in to place a line of kisses along her neck. This earned him a symphony of gasps and squeaks.
"H-Hai, I d-do!"
"Then there's no problem here."
He continued to kiss and caress the shy rocker, who did not protest and enjoyed her lover's touch. Her breathing became heavy as Izuku kept going.
"I-I-Izu-kun!"
"I love you, my beautiful Kyouka."
Before the usually shy couple could go any further…
"What do you two think you are doing?!"
The sudden loud voice caught Izuku and Kyouka off guard, causing them to jump in shock and fall off the couch. Scrambling to sit up, they regained their bearings only to find Iida glaring down at them and the rest of their classmates coming out from the hallway.
"Damn it, Iida! Why did you have ruin everything?!" demanded Mina as she gave off a pout.
Izuku looked at his class with wide eyes before turning towards the dorm entrance and then back at his class.
"W-Wait, where the hell did you all come from?!" demanded Izuku.
Seeing as how the cat was out of the bag, Mina gave off a nervous laugh as she rubbed the back of her head.
"Well…we were all in Ochaco's room."
Just by the way the fluffy alien answered sent a shiver of fear down Izuku and Kyouka's spines.
"What were you all doing in there?" questioned Kyouka, afraid of what the answer would be.
Momo, who look exceedingly guilty, walked forward and toward the houseplant. Kyouka's eyes widened when the raven-haired girl pulled out the hidden camera.
"Y-You were spying on us?! What the hell, Yaomomo?! I thought we were friends?!" demanded Kyouka, feeling so betrayed.
"We are friends, Kyouka! We were just worried because you and Midoriya had been acting strangely recently," explained Momo, looking at her friend in sadness.
"So you spied on us?! Why the hell didn't you just ask us then?!"
"Would you have told me the truth? That you were dating Midoriya?"
"…"
"…I thought we were friends, Kyouka," said Momo, using Kyouka's words against her.
The two girls stared each other down, the air getting intense.
"That's enough!" said a commanding voice.
Everyone turned to the source of the voice and were surprised that it came from Midoriya. The green-haired boy walked towards the two girls and gently took Kyouka's hand, leading her towards the recliner where he sat down with her on his lap. Izuku looked at his classmates with an unamused look while Kyouka glared at them. Both of them couldn't believe that they would just spy on them like that.
The silence was broken when Izuku let out a sigh of frustration. "What exactly do you guys want to know? And one question at a time!"
Sero was the first one to ask a question. "How long has this been going on?"
"Since the Cultural Festival," replied Kyouka.
"The Cultural Festival?! That was months ago!" squeaked out Hagakure. "You've been able to keep your relationship a secret for that long?!"
"Pretty much," said Izuku.
"How did you two get together, gero?"
Kyouka glanced at Izuku, who was looking right back at her. They didn't even need to speak to know what the other was thinking.
'Should we tell them, Izu-kun?' was the silent question.
'Might as well. We need to start trusting each other again,' came the silent answer.
The shy rocker let out a sigh before she started explaining. "After the concert I had found out that Izuku-kun was almost late getting back after he had gone out to get some last minute supplies. I went to confront him about it because I wanted to know what the hell would cause him to be late."
"I am quite curious about that myself," stated Aoyama. "You never did tell me why you almost missed the concert, Midoriya."
"…I didn't want to worry everyone by telling them I had a run-in with a villain," replied Izuku, looking away from his classmates.
"You fought a villain on your own?!" questioned Class 1-A in shock.
Letting out another sigh, Izuku told the story. "When I went out to get the supplies we needed I ran into a villain who had planned on sabotaging the Cultural Festival. I couldn't let that happen. The Cultural Festival was important, not only to Eri, but to Kyouka as well. I was not going to let a villain take it away from them."
Momo turned to Kyouka. "Did you know about this, Kyouka?"
"Of course I did. When I confronted Izuku-kun he tried to give me some bullshit reason as to why he was almost late, but I could tell he was lying," explained the purple-haired girl, crossing her arms. "When he told me the truth, I couldn't help but admire him more than I already did."
"Is that how you two got together?" asked Sato.
"Yes and no," replied Kyouka. "We didn't get together right away, but we did start hanging out more. After awhile we just sort of clicked."
"We got to know each other a lot better and I even introduced Kyouka not only to my mom, but to Eri too," said Izuku with a smile.
Kyouka gave off a slight grin as she thought of the little one. Eri had come to think of her and Izuku as her Mama and Papa, but the others didn't need to know that just yet.
"I still can't believe you two have been together for so long without any of us noticing," said Mina with a pout. "That is so unfair!"
"And you wonder why we kept it a secret," muttered out Kyouka.
"But Kyouka-chan!" exclaimed Mina with a whine.
"Hey, I've got a question," said Kaminari. "How far have you two gone in your relationship?"
The question caused the shy couple to blush up a storm, as they understood what Kaminari was getting at.
"K-Kaminari! Y-You can't ask something like that!" exclaimed Momo, looking scandalized.
"Oh come on! We all saw the same thing! These two were getting hot and heavy! You can't tell me that all of you weren't thinking the same thing!"
"We never had sex, you dumbass!" yelled Kyouka as she glared at the electric boy.
"How do we know that for sure?!" demanded Mineta, wanting details. "Midoriya! How could you betray us like this?!"
"We never had sex!" stated Izuku, stopping the grape with a glare. "We'll admit that have been times we've had…urges (Kyouka blushed hard at this), but we both know what could happen if we gave in to those urges."
"Yes! You would be expelled from UA for your actions!" exclaimed Iida, moving his arms in a robotic manner.
Izuku just shook his head. "There's that, but that wasn't what I was talking about. We never had sex because I didn't want to take the risk of getting Kyouka pregnant and her having to drop out because of that. I know how important becoming a hero is to her and I didn't want to take that away from her."
He felt Kyouka place her soft, dainty hand in his rough, scarred one and gave it a soft squeeze, which he returned.
The others watched the couple in silence, their respect for their green-haired friend rising.
"Midori-bro, you are definitely a man among men."
"Thanks, Kirishima."
"You truly love Mademoiselle Jirou, correct, Midoriya?"
Izuku had to hold back a sigh. "Yes, Aoyama. I love her more than anything."
Kyouka was starting to wonder if she'd ever stop blushing.
"Then that is all that matters," replied Aoyama with a genuine smile, before turning and making his way towards the kitchen, confusing everyone. "I believe we should celebrate yours and Mademoiselle Jirou's relationship with some grape juice."
Izuku blinked a few times before letting out a laugh. "I should have known I could count on your support, Aoyama."
"But of course! We are friends, no?" replied Aoyama. Upon opening the fridge, his usual smile stayed on his face, but it was clear he was upset. Aoyama then pulled out an almost empty jug of grape juice. "It seems we are almost out of grape juice and no one said anything."
"Don't worry, Aoyama. We can get some later and celebrate then," said Izuku, giving his friend a reassuring smile.
"Oui!"
As Aoyama put the bottle back in the fridge, the girls talked with Kyouka.
"I'm so sorry for not trusting you, Kyouka," said Momo, giving her friend a hug. "Can you ever forgive me for my actions?"
Kyouka could only let out a sigh, before smiling. "Of course, Yaomomo."
"Ah, who knew Midoriya could be so romantic~" said Hagakure, swooning in place. "He wants to cook for you and he gives you massages! You're so lucky, Kyouka-chan~"
"I do have to wonder though, gero," said Tsuyu, putting her finger near her mouth in her usual manner. "From the way you and Midoriya-kun act with each other, it looked like you two have been together for years instead of months, gero."
Kyouka merely gave off a shrug. "Like I said, Izuku-kun and I just clicked. We found out that we had a lot in common. We come from the same hometown, we're both i-insecure about ourselves at times, and we found out that we have very similar reasons for becoming heroes."
"Wait, really?" asked Mina, her and the other girls surprised by that.
"Yup! And it's that reason why Izuku-kun and I came to a decision," said the shy rocker as she walked over to Izuku and held his hand. Izuku could smile as he gave her hand a light squeeze.
"What kind of decision did you two make?" questioned Iida.
"Well…Kyouka and I decided to become a hero team once we graduate," said Izuku as he and Kyouka smiled at the idea.
"Whoa, really? That's pretty cool, Midori-bro!" exclaimed Kirishima with sharp-toothed grin.
"Indeed. Congratulations, you two," said Tokoyami.
"Have you two come up with a team name?" asked Shouto.
"Well, that was what actually gave us trouble," stated Kyouka, twirling one of her earphone jacks around her finger. "But then Eri gave us an idea and Izuku-kun and I agreed that it worked."
"So then what is it, gero?"
The shy couple glanced at each other before smiling at their friends.
The Smiling Heroes.

OMAKE
Ochaco let out a sigh as she headed to her room. It had been a long and tiring day, what with spying on Deku-kun and finding out that he had a girlfriend in Kyouka. She hated that she lost Deku-kun and was jealous of Kyouka…but seeing how happy Deku-kun was with Kyouka, she didn't have the heart to get between them. As long as Deku-kun was happy, that was all that mattered to the anti-gravity girl.
Reaching her room, she opened the door and turned on the light, only to be greeted by a loud growl that made her jump. Looking over to where the growl came from, her eyes widened to find a VERY angry Bakugou stilled taped to her bedroom wall. They had completely forgotten about him in their rush to try and stop Iida!
"Get me the fuck off of this wall NOW!" growled out the bomb boy in a tone that promised death.
Ochaco quickly rushed over and tried to tear off the tape. She just hoped that he wouldn't use his Quirk and destroy her room.
OMAKE END

Remember…
Izuku wants to save people with a smile on his face, to let them know everything will be okay.
And Kyouka wants to put smiles on people's faces, to let them know everything will be okay.
These are the canon reasons Izuku and Kyouka have for wanting to be heroes.
Anyway, I wanted to write this idea out 'cause the thought of the others spying on Izuku and Kyouka was amusing. Of course, our favorite shy couple wasn't laughing when they found out. Good thing there was no hard feelings in the end.
…Well, except for Bakugou.
