21Chapter 1: New World with an XX Twist
The mid - morning sun slipped through the cracks in the curtains in my room pulling me out of dreamland. I sat up and slid out of the hammock I used as a bed giving a stretch as I popped my back a bit.
"Morning Shiro" I said, petting my black furred kitten as she leaped up onto the desk nuzzling against my hand with a purr.
"Merow" Shiro 'replied' back.
"Gotta remember to buy some more cat food on the way home." I said to myself as I filled Shiro's bowl with the almost empty bag of cat food.
After I made sure shiro was fed and watered, I hopped in the shower for a quick wake cleanse. After I was done and I dried my hair I pulled on a Black Muscle Tee and Shorts with a light gray track suit jacket
I went into my kitchen and cracked open some eggs and proceeded to make myself an omelet, after my food was ready I poured myself a glass of OJ and gave a light chuckle as Shiro pounced on a stray beam of light.
After I had eaten I pulled on a pair of Purple Crocs and made sure the apartment was all locked up before heading out to work for the day.
While I was walking to the train station to take the subway to work I opened my Phone and decided to do a little bit of catching in Pokemon Go, I was so happy when they finally added Zorua to the game as it was my favorite one of all, out of the corner of my eye I saw a little girl with blond hair about 7-8 years old walking with who looked like her mother.
"Morning." I said to my boss Kristoph at my local TCG Shop called Moonlight Games
"Good Morning." Kristoph greets in response.
I clocked in and put on my work apron, I went in back and started to sort through and take stock of the newly arrived stuff.
"Huh this looks interesting." I muttered to myself looking at the new shipment of Cardfight Vanguard Trial Decks that we had gotten in, more specifically the Toshiki Kai one, before I went back to sorting.
"Whew." I said wiping a bit of sweat off my brow on my sleeve, once I double checked everything was done I went and turned on the Open sign and unlocked the door and went to the Cash Register.
The next few hours trinkled by as a few customers came in to buy various things from booster packs to the occasional D&D Board, eventually it came to be 1PM and I went to take my lunch break, I went across the street where there was a Taco Truck and got myself some food.
After I had eaten I made sure my hands and face were clean and went back to the remainder of my shift, soon the door opened and I heard the tell tale jingle of bells.
"Welcome." I greeted looking up to see a Young Girl about maybe 12 or 13 accompanied by an older male who shared her features so it must have been either an older brother or possibly her father, "How may I help you today?" I asked politely.
"It's okay Lily tell the Clerk what you were hoping to get." He says placing an assuring hand on her head.
Lily shyly hides a bit behind her acomplice's leg, "C-Could I get a Yugioh Structure Deck?" She mutters softly.
I gave her a kind smile, "Sure is there any deck in particular you want to get." I asked her.
"This would be her first deck as Lily is just getting into the game, do you have any recommendations for an easy beginner Deck?" The male asked me.
I gave it a bit of thought, "How about this one." I asked pulling down the Lost Sanctuary Structure Deck and placing it on the counter for them to look at.
Lily picked it up and looked at the box, "It looks cool can we get it Papa?" she asks
Lily's Father smiles, "If that's what you want, I'll take the deck." he says to me.
"Pleasure doing Business with you." I say ringing up the purchase as Lily went over to a nearby play table and opened up her new deck looking at her new cards with a smile.
"Would you like me to teach you how to play?" I offered
"Really?!" Lily asks with a million killawat smile.
I nodded, "If you would like me to."
"Yes Please." Lily nods.
"Are you sure you have the time?" Lily's father asked.
I nodded as I walked around the counter to the table and pulled out my own deck but kept the Extra Deck in the case to give myself a Handicap, "Okay First we…."

"Thanks again for the Lessons." Lily says as she leaves with her father.
I wave them off before picking up my own Nephthys Deck and tidy up before clocking off of my shift and buying the Toshiki Kai Trial Deck and a box of Chocolate Pocky, I opened the Deck up and tossed the cover, mat and instructions slipping the deck into my pocket opposite the one holding my Nephthys Deck.
I said goodbye to my coworker who was on the evening shift and began my trek back to the train station, while I was walking in the distance I could hear screeching of tires and police Sirens.
"Must be a chase going on." I muttered to myself munching on one of the Pocky sticks, I had some time to kill before my train was supposed to arrive so I just hung out outside the station slowly munching on my snack as I watched the world pass me by.
Suddenly out of the corner of my eye I saw a young girl out of the corner of my eye at the crosswalk, I looked over and realized it was the blond haired girl I had seen earlier today on the way to work, but I didn't see her with anyone.
She stood at the crosswalk patiently waiting for the light to turn green, when it turned green she looked up and down the empty street several times before proceeding to cross.
I took a bite of another Pocky when I heard the screech of tires right around the corner, I turned and hauling ass around the corner was a tan Prius being chased by flashing red and blue lights.
"LOOK OUT!" I called out to the little girl when I noticed they were heading right for her, but she doesn't seem to notice.
Suddenly she pauses as if noticing something and turns to see the cars barreling towards her and freezes in fright.
I shove her out of the way to safety on the other side of the street, Wait how did I get here, I was just sitting on the bench.
I smiled when I saw she was safely on the sidewalk albeit a bit battered before I was slammed with all the force and kinetic energy sending me flying and breaking several ribs.
'Damn this hurts.' I think in agony as the young girl runs up to me as the cops run out and arrest the teenage joy rider.
"Are you okay?" I grunt out to the young child I just saved.
The girl makes a bunch of flurious hand motions to me
Why was she making those hand mo..oh she was signing that was why she didn't react to the cars at first, she's deaf.
I gently grasped her hand to calm her down, "It's Okay." I mouth slowly and deliberately to let her catch every word on my lips.
I heard the cops say something, but I was more focused on keeping sure she was calm, soon an ambulance arrived and I was loaded in as a cop took care of the child, once I was sure she was okay I couldn't hold on any longer and felt myself black out, to the frantic yelling of the paramedics, as I fell down down down into the darkness away from the light.
There was a small flame in the distance, I reached out to try grasping it as it got further away before It flared up it's intensity burning like the sun, no even hotter than that. The flame got more intense and spread out as it seemed to burn my very soul.
'I hope someone takes good care of Shiro.' I thought before every one of my atoms felt as if they were being burned to ash and my mental sight was overtaken by a bright golden light before I blacked out from the pain.

I turned in the nice warm bed I was laying in, nestling deeper into the warm feeling, wait..bed?!
I snapped awake sitting up looking around, I noted that I was in a strange unfamiliar room that somehow looked familiar at the same time, I looked around feeling a bit groggy for some reason my hair felt longer and I noticed that I felt a bit more top heavy than usual.
I looked around trying to gain my bearings when the door opened and in walked an elderly lady.
'Haru Tsukumo!' I mentally yelled in shock, recognizing the face of who I saw, but that should be impossible she was from a fictional anime after all, was I dreaming.
"Oh your awake dearie how are you feeling?" Haru asks me kindly.
I absentmindedly rubbed the back of my head noticing my fingers felt more slender then normal, "I'm doing okay I guess, how did I get here?" I asked, trying to piece things together.
"My grandson Yuma and his friends found you outside unconscious and decided to bring you here to rest until you woke up?" Haru explained.
"Why here and not a hospital?" I asked
"Because you weren't seriously injured and lately there has been a crisis going on with the electronics." Haru explained.
'So this must be around Episode 3.' I thought to myself.
"Now enough of this, when you feel up to moving around feel free to come join myself and my grandchildren for dinner young miss."
I froze, "What do you mean miss, have you got a cold?" I asked cleaning my ear a bit as Haru exited the room.
I stood up and caught sight of something in the window, I turned and saw a teenage girl with copper colored skin and long crimson red hair down to the upper back, silver eyes wearing a black T shirt and a gray hoodie that was zipped up to the cleavage area, a pair a black short shorts with white trim on the bottom and a pair of calf high brown boots.
"Who is this girl? I never saw her before in the series." I asked myself looking at her observing her features before raising my hand to give a wave.
The girl did the same, I froze and so did the girl a realization washed over me like niagra falls.
The longer hair feeling, the heavier chest, the slender hand feeling, I slowly moved my hands in front of my face to see a pair of slender manicured fingers before I gulped and looked down hoping to see my own feet but my view was blocked.
'I'M A GIRL!' I panicked feeling my body, 'What how when!' I mentally screamed going into a mental crisis mode and hyperventilating a bit before I managed to slow my breathing down and take a few deep calming breaths.
"It's Okay, your fine somehow you ended up in a fictional world and became a girl after being hit by a legendary reincarnating truck." I muttered to myself, managing to calm down, "Don't worry too much about why you're a girl now, just think of it as Time Lord regeneration, exactly like Time Lord Regeneration." I say to myself in a mantra to calm my anxiety down and after a few minutes it works.
I slapped my face, "Right no use wasting time with pointless panicking so let's go meet the cast." I said straightening out my shirt a bit and walking right into the door frame, "Steering must be a bit off because of early days." I muttered, rubbing my now sore nose.
"Today, the city suffered a massive system downage." I heard on the TV as I made my way into the kitchen.
"The Manuscripts gone." I heard Akari moan as I entered the room.
"Good evening." I greeted the three Tsukumos.
"Oh your up dearie, how are you feeling." Haru asked me.
I gave a small bow, "I'm feeling much better thank you for taking care of me."
Haru smiled, "It was my pleasure, allow me to introduce you, this is my Grandaughter Akari and my Grandson Yuma." she says gesturing to the other two.
"Yo I'm Yuma, I'm glad you're feeling better, what's your name?" Yuma asked me.
I froze a bit, 'Damn it I didn't plan for this and it would be weird for someone who looks like I do now to have a white male name from western culture, Think of a fake name, Think of a fake name.' I chanted to myself before I thought of Kotori, my crush from this series and an idea hit me, taking Ito from Suzuno Ito and Kaguya from Madoka Kaguya two other characters I had anime crushes on who were also voiced by Kotori's Voice Actor I would be Ito Kaguya, yes that would work.
"Pleasure to meet you Yuma, my name is Ito, Kaguya Ito." I greeted him politely.
"Nice to meet you as well Kaguya dear." Haru smiles.
I gave a small wave, "Just Ito is fine, I grew up in the west so I'm more used to being called by my first name." I tell them.
"Okay if that is what you want Ito, You can call me Grandma, Akari dear would you put the TV away so Ito can sit there." Haru asks.
"Of course." Akari says as she puts away the screen and a place is set for me as I sat down next to Haru and across from Akari, out of the corner of my eye I saw Astral hovering over Yuma.
'So I can see him.' I think to myself.
"Thanks for the food." Yuma says clasping his hands together.
"I missed the delivery!" Akari groans.
"Delivery?" I pretended to ask.
"Akari here is a reporter." Haru explains to me.
I nodded as I put some rice into my mouth.
"Earlier today, I got grabbed by one of those O-Bots!" Yuma tells his family.
"My, My as did I!" Haru said, adding on her experience as well.
"Huh, what's with that?" Akari perks up a bit with tears in her eyes hearing about the experience.
"It was just on the news!" Yuma reminded his sister.
I nodded, "I heard that as well just as I walked into the kitchen, it sounded like a big crisis." I stated.
"The public vending machine broke down." Yuma stated.
'That doesn't sound like a crisis.' I mentally deadpanned.
"Wow, the monorail is moving again." Yuma said, noticing the train moving outside the window.
"Looks like things are finally working again." Haru said.
"So basically, I wasn't the only one who lost all their data?" snapping out of her funk
"Sis?" Yuma says looking at Akari.
"Something smells fishy." Akari said with a frown.
Haru, Yuma and I all checked to see if the smell was coming from us.
"NO, I meant this incident smells!" Akari clarified, "I can't waist any time gotta replenish my energy!" she said as she scarfs down her food.
"That's mine!" Yuma yells out as his fish was stolen.
"Gotta hurry and eat!" Akari says
"God." Yuma huffs scarfing down his rice as Akari runs out.
"So this is the method humans use to replenish their energy?" Astral comments.
I hid my face behind the rice down as I ate some more to cover my smirk at Astral's antics.
After we were done eating Yuma left with Astral, probably to take care of business while I helped Haru clean up.
"You're a guest Ito dear you don't need to be doing this." Haru tells me.
I smiled at the kind old lady, "It's okay Grandma it's the least I could do as thanks for helping me out, plus I like cooking and working in the kitchen so cleaning up is natural to me." I tell her.
"Oh you enjoy cooking do you?" Haru asks, handing me a wet dish as I dry and stack it.
I nodded, "I may not be an expert but I think what I make is pretty good." I commented.
Haru smiles, "Maybe one day I could taste your food."
I smiled, "I'd like that." I say with a smile.
After we finished the dishes and everything was cleaned Haru turned to me.
"So tell me Ito, what do you plan to do?" Haru asks me.
I crossed my arms over my chest, "I'm not sure, I don't really have a place to stay at the moment and I recently lost all my important documents because of that virus." I half lied.
Haru looks at me, "Would you like to stay here?" she offers me.
I looked at her in shock, "Are you sure, you just met me after all." I asked her.
"I can tell you're a kind soul and I can feel Yuma could use someone like you on his side in the upcoming days." Haru tells me.
I gave a hesitant nod, "If you're sure." I said.
"All you have to do is earn your keep by doing chores and helping around the house at times." Haru says.
I nodded, "Sounds fair." I agreed.
"Oh and also you'll have to attend School with Yuma as you seem about his age." Haru dropped the bombshell on me.
I froze at that, 'I have to go back to middle school even though I graduated from high school like 9 years ago' I thought to myself in shock, still since it would be a japanese middle school over an american one it would be a different learning experience but would I be able to understand the material… wait a minute thinking about it if this was a japanese show why was everyone speaking english to me, or were they speaking Japanese and I just heard english like some kind of Tardis translation matrix.
I mentally shook my head out of my thoughts, "That would be fine." I said agreeing to the terms.
"That sounds excellent, I'll give Yuma's friend Kotori a call to see if you can borrow one of her Uniforms temporarily until we can get you your own." Haru tells me.
I blushed deeply at the thought of wearing the cloths of my anime crush, "Pleaseexcuseme." I stammered out and rushed out of the room.
I absentmindedly explored the house to paint out a mental map for myself when I saw Astral hovering in the hallway.
"Observation Number 3: Humans must eat and release in an endless combination, However they will die the moment anyone sees them doing this." Astral says.
I almost snorted but I caught it and was using all my willpower to suppress my desire to laugh.
"Can it!" Yuma yells at Astral.
"You okay Yuma?" I asked him in faux concern.
"But it is perculiar, if humans really operate in such a perfect combination why is your dueling so incompetent?" Astral asks.
"And what the heck is that supposed to mean?" Yuma asks Astral
"Umm it means are you okay, I mean you're talking to yourself." I said to Yuma pretending to be an observer of only half a conversation.
"Ahh Ito, it's nothing just an annoyance." Yuma tells me with a tone of anger.
"Put bluntly, you are unskilled when it comes to Dueling." Astral tells Yuma.
"Shut up!" Yuma says bursting from the bathroom.
I felt like a hammer hit my nose, 'Woah this body's nasal senses are much stronger than my old ones.' I think I'm feeling a little queasy.
"There's no such thing as a 'Perfect Human' it's more fun when you fail! Yuma yells.
"What's this perfect human talk about?" I said tilting my head.
"If you fail, you will lose something of great value." Astral says ominously.
"I can't bring it to 'em if I'm scared of failing!" Yuma says with Gusto
"Bringing it to 'em?" I asked Yuma
"Yeah." Yuma says with a smile looking at me, "It's something my dad taught me, it means to always face a challenge head on and never give up." he says wistfully.
I smiled, "That's like what I was taught."
"What were you taught." Yuma asks me as he and Astral look at me.
"Imagine it." I said.
"Imagine it?" Yuma says.
"Imagination gives you power, if you can imagine yourself as a strong person you can surpass your current self and shape a new you, a new future." I said.
Yuma and Astral have deep looks on their faces.
"Ito." Haru says coming up to us.
"Yes." I said giving her my attention.
"I had Akari set up a spare mattress in her room and set out some of her old clothes for you to wear for the night." Haru tells me.
"Thank you for that." I said.
"No worries dear, have a good night." Haru says bidding me good night.

I was awoken by a loud crash above me the next morning.
"Morning already." I said with a yawn blinking the sleep out of my eyes noticing that Akari was gone before I spotted a Uniform hanging on the door and a note pinned to it.
I read the note that said Mrs. Mizuki had brought over the uniform for me.
I put the uniform on and it was a bit snug around the chest but fit decently, but the skirt felt awkward to me,
"Hmm.." I hummed in thought before an Idea struck me. I took off the uniform top and grabbed my zip up hoodie and put it on, zipping it up all the way before putting the uniform top back on over it and pulling on the shorts and putting the skirt on over top of it.
"Perfect." I said observing my new look before I grabbed some hair clips and a black ribbon Akari had laying around to style my hair so it looked like a bit of a combination of Hibiki Tachibana and Kyoko Sakura's hair styles.
"I'm LATE!" I heard Yuma yell above me and a frantic thudding of feet.
"I better go as well." I said slipping on the shoes that were with the uniform and grabbing one of the two Rice Balls Haru had set out for me and Yuma as we both ran out the door to class.
"Made it on time." Yuma says in relief as we both make it into the classroom, Yuma taking a seat beside Kotori and I sat down in the seat across from her.
"Okay listen up, everyone!" The teacher Ukyo Kitano said, gaining the class's attention.
The class became silent.
"First I would like to introduce you to a new student who joined our class today, would you introduce yourself." Ukyo says to me.
I stood up, "Pleasure to meet you all. I am Ito Kaguya, I hope we get along well." I said before sitting back down.
"Bit of a short introduction there." Ukyo said before getting back to the class, "Due to yesterday's communication error, the entire school's broadcasting computers are currently down as a result, so we can't access the textbooks, The cause of the error was…' he begins before he was interrupted.
"Me, please let me answer this!" A blue haired student says standing up and running up to the front of the class.
'Takashi Todoroki, the class rep' I think to myself.
"Oh, Class rep you know something about this?" Ukyo asked Takashi.
"I do, I simply used my programming skills to mentally place myself in a similar setting, to summarize, the malfunctioning issue was caused by someone infiltrating the city's host computer, so if I were to create." Takashi tells everyone.
I was getting bored by his speech, "NERD!" I yelled out causing everyone to chuckle.
"Sensei, How about we make today into a Duel tournament!" Yuma says getting everyone's attention on him.
"Hmm, perhaps." Ukyo says considering the idea, "Why not?" he says agreeing to it.
"Booyah, I'm gonna bring it to every last one of you today!" Yuma cheers.
"All right, That's Ukyo-sensei for you!" the class cheered out.
"Just when I was finally on stage…" Takashi hisses out, "In that case Yuma-Kun, Ito-San, "To summarize, you two Duel with me!" He challenges the two of us for disrupting his moment.
"Sure, it would be my please but Ito can you Duel." Yuma asks me.
I nodded, "Yeah, I can Duel but I left my Deck at home today, I didn't think it was needed." I explained although left back home meant back in my old world..
"Tch, For now I will settle with Dueling Yuma." Takashi says.
"Duel Disk, Set!" "D-Gazer, Set!" Yuma says activating his equipment.
The rest of us moved to the outside of the class as I stood next to Kotori, everyone else put on their D-Gazers as I felt my Left eye seem to have an itchy stinging feeling.
'What's going on?' I thought rubbing my eye a bit
"Duel Target: Lock-On!" Takashi and Yuma yelled out
"AR Vision - Link established.!" I heard the computer state as everyone's Duel Gazer glowed.
"DUEL!" Takashi and Yuma yelled out as their life point counters appeared. (Yuma: 4000) (Takashi: 4000)
'So this feeling in my eye is somehow letting me see the Augmented Reality like a D-Gazer Tattoo.' I think as the sensation dulls down to a comfortable feeling.
"You can do it, Yuma!" Kotori cheers from beside me.
"Yuma-kun, is there any merit to the rumors that you defeated Shark?" Takashi asks Yuma.
"Shark?" I asked Kotori.
"Shark is an older student around here known for being a bit of a bully who would take other peoples decks after beating them." Kotori tells me.
"You bet, it's true!" Yuma tells Takashi.
"I just can't believe that, that you did despite having never defeated me in your entire life." Takashi rejected Yuma's statement.
"It's the truth, Class Rep." Tetsuo, the series chubby character said, backing up Yuma.
"We're the witnesses!" Kotori says.
"So I see, meaning that if I were to win this Duel, to summarize, it would mean that I am stronger than Shark, correct?" Takashi asked.
I snorted, "Flawless Logic." I muttered.
"You keep saying, to summarize, it'd be really bad if your throat was sum-mothered by that sea lion sized sentence!" Yuma says.
I face palmed at Yumas terrible pun.
"If my throat was smothered?!" Takashi says a bit stunned.
Tetsuyo and Kotori sighed at Yuma's antics.
"Okay, lets get it on, I got me a Numbers Card!" Yuma said opening his Extra deck before noticing it was empty, "Eh, Gone the Numbers gone!" he says frantically looking around.
"Here I come, My Turn Draw!" Takashi says drawing his card.
'H-HOLD ON A MINUTE!" Yuma yells out in panic.
A bit of time passed and Yuma was getting trounced.
"Go, Bugman X, Direct Attack!" Takashi says summoning his monster
Yuma yells out as he is knocked back, "You gotta be kidding!" he said as his life points hit 0.
"4000 to Zero." Tetsuya says embarrassed.
"Yuma." Kotori mutters.
"Damn that was embarrassing." I said with a whistle.
"He totally wiped the floor with you!" Kotori yells in embarrassment.
"As expected, someone like Yuma-kun who never studies could never beat me!" Takashi boasts, "To summarize, a fool can't hope to win a duel!" he says as the AR dissipates.
"What?!" Yuma hisses out.
"Don't get ahead of yourself. " I tell Takashi.
"Don't be like that now,!" Ukyo says disrupting the tension between us, "Life and Dueling are one and the same it never goes just as you plan." he says grabbing one of Takashi's cards and holding it up, "One should learn through messing up, Bugman for example lives off of failure."
"Bugman, an electrical fairy that lives off of the other bugs, it becomes extremely powerful because it lives off its bug friends, it's said that those who witness its full moon like appearance may live forever in happiness" Ukyo tells us as everyone in the class smiles at the tale, even I enjoyed it as well.
"Sensei, to summarize, there's no such thing as stuff like that in real life!" Takashi protests.
"There is, I'm sure of it." Ukyo replies without hesitation.
Takashi was shocked by that.
"Yuma, it's fine that you lost just now, you just have to learn from it, isn't that the challenge spirit you like to call bringing it to em?" Ukyo tells his student.
"Ukyo-sensei!" Yuma says balling tears, "Your right, I'll always keep bringin it to 'em!" he says clenching his fist.
Ukyo gave a chuckle at his students' antics.

"Ukyo-sensei sure is a nice guy, he's really smart when it comes to teaching math and he's really nice on top of it, I'm definitely gonna become like that man!" Yuma said as we were walking home with Kotori.
"I agree he really is a nice person, I'm glad I ended up with him as my teacher." I told Yuma.
A car honking got our attention, we turned to see a red car swerve up in front of us, the window rolled down to reveal Akari as the driver.
"Hi, Yuma." Akari says to her brother.
"Sis." Yuma says a bit surprised.
"Why don't the three of you come for a little drive?" Akari tells the three of us lowering her sunglasses a bit.
The three of us piled into the car, Yuma sitting in the front and Kotori and I in the back before Akari gunned it.
"It's certainly a good thing that the computer virus incident that spread yesterday only lasted for a while." Akari tells us as we drove, "But what if things had lasted much longer?" she asked rhetorically before shifting gears and speeding up a bit.
"No doubt things would have descended into a huge panic if things went on." I commented.
"A huge panic?" Yuma asks.
"Beyond traffic lights or vending machines." Akari said.
I nodded, "Imagine if the data of Banks were erased and rewritten, or perhaps the hospital lost all of its data." I told him.
Akari nodded, "It would be a terrible thing if it did." She agreed to my points.
"Y-You two are serious?" Yuma says in disbelief.
"Who would try to do such a thing?" Kotori asks.
"I honestly couldn't hazard a guess." I say to Kotori with a shake of my head, while I knew perfectly well who the culprit was.
"Well, the computer virus was transferred from the jurisdiction within your school." Akari tells us.
"Ehh!" Kotori and Yuma yell out as we arrive at the school.
"I want the two of you to stake out the jurisdiction, there's a good chance the culprit will appear again." Akari tells the three of us.
"This seems pretty interesting, don't you think?!" Kotori says a bit pumped.
"Hold it, why do we have to do this?" Yuma protests.
"I don't wanna hear any complaints, it's my article that was ruined by this!" Akari tells Yuma.
I smiled, "Come on this will be fun." I said putting my arms around Yuma and Kotori.
"Once we find the culprit, I'll karate chop the guy till he's blue in the face!" Akari says passionately.
I chuckled a bit as I pulled Yuma and Kotori into the School, Akari yelled something at us as we entered.
"Got it." I said back to her as we went to the library
"Listen up Yuma, your sister said the culprit is sure to appear in the library so he can access its personal computer." Kotori tells Yuma who hadn't been paying attention earlier.
"What a drag…" Yuma moans out as the three of us hide out behind a bookcase.
I grabbed a random book and skimmed it over while keeping a lookout out from the corner of my eye.
"Gosh, shape up and get on look out already!" Kotori tells Yuma.
The hours passed us by slowly but there was no sign of activity, I went through a few books in that time.
Yuma let out a yawn as the sun began to dip below the horizon and the library was about to close.
"It's almost closing time." Kotori said, looking at her D-Gazer.
I snapped the book I was reading close and put it away, "Perhaps they aren't coming." I started leaning back beside Kotori before I spotted a familiar set of blue hair out of the corner of my eye.
"Hey look." I tell Kotori and Yuma, gesturing to who I saw.
"Yuma, look isn't that…" Kotori says.
"Class rep, he looks pretty suspicious." Yuma comments about Takashi's attitude before charging out.
"Yuma!" Kotori and I called out after him.
Takashi was typing on the D-Pad before holding something up.
"That's a flash drive!" Kotori gasped out.
Takashi plugged the drive in and shit hit the fan.
"Don't tell me this is!" Takashi says in panic.
"Caught you!" Yuma says, grabbing Takashi.
"Wha.." Takashi says in panic and shock.
"So you were the culprit behind that incident!" Yuma accuses Takashi.
"I am not the culprit!" Takashi says throwing Yuma off and beginning to type frantically to counter the attack, "I was being used!" he protests.
"You're a liar!" Yuma presses.
"I don't think he's lying Yuma, his fear and panic are too genuine for it to be an act." I tell Yuma as Kotori and I walk up to them.
"But we just saw him input the virus!" Yuma tells me.
I shook my head, "We're lacking in too many facts to say for certain but I am certain that bowlcut here is the culprit." I said gesturing to Takashi.
"B-Bowlcut?!" Takashi stutters out before going back to work.
"What're you doing?" Yuma asked Takashi.
"I'm intervening the culprit!" Takashi says, sweating as he furiously worked, "If I search for any locations that accessed this machine from the outside the culprit has to be there!" he explains.
"Makes sense." I said watching Takashi work.
"Damn it, I came here to retrieve the data files so I could reveal the culprit's whereabouts!" Takashi says struggling as strands of code streamed across the screen.
"And without knowing it, you activated some kind of installation for a virus bomb didn't you." I said in a deadpan tone.
"Yeah, I accidently released the virus bomb into the city!" Takashi says abashed before an address appears on screen, "Got him!" he yells out.
"Yuma you call your sister and tell her what happened, the four of us are heading to that place." I tell them.
"Wait..but." Yuma protests.
I gave him a look.
"Hai, I'm calling her." Yuma says in a panic, pulling out his D-Gazer and informing Akari.
"He triggered the virus bomb?" Akari says in shock.
"Yeah, we're looking for the culprit, so you have to do something about the bomb, sis!" Yuma tells Akari as the four of us run towards the location.
"Hold on, Yuma!" Akari's voice barely gets through as Yuma hangs up.
"Looks like this is the place." I said as we arrived at a tower under construction.
"It's over here, the culprit is inside the nodule within the top of the tower!" Takashi says as we run inside.
"Let's go inside and say hello to our host." I told them as we entered.
"You sure the culprit's really hiding out here?" Yuma asked as we trekked through the dark halls.
"I am, he is here without a doubt." Takashi said.
I was mentally preparing myself for the confrontation with Ukyo and if I played my cards right, my Duel with Number 34.
The four of us walked through a door as it closed behind us.
"Surprise, Surprise!" A voice greeted us from the dark, "Despite the various options you made it here quickly."
"Ukyo-sensei." Takashi says in shock as we all looked at our teacher standing above us.
"Why are you here, Sensei?" Yuma asks.
Ukyo looked at us with a bit of an evil glare.
"So, to summarize, Ukyo-sensei is the culprit?!" Takashi says in realization pointing at Ukyo.
"I suppose you could say that." Ukyo says to us as the room was fully lit up.
"You gotta be pulling my leg, Sensei!" Yuma says in disbelief.
"The very fact that our Class Rep was able to make it here was all within my expectations."
"To summarize, this was a trap!" Takashi bites out.
"The virus bomb you uploaded will go off in a mere 30 minutes, because I truly wanted you to witness firsthand my virus bomb being set off." Ukyo tells us as counters appear all over the room on the screens.
"So that makes me your accomplice?!" Takashi yells out.
"An unwilling one to be fair, but yes an accomplice nonetheless." I stated.
Ukyo took off his glasses and pulled down his shirt where a glowing 34 appeared on his neck.
"Numbers!" Yuma gasped out.
"Sensei." Yuma said as YuUkyo let out a laugh sitting down in his chair.
I noticed Astral appear out of the Corner of my eye from the Emperor's Key.
"That's the mark of the Numbers." Astral observes.
"You didn't get sent away?!" Yuma yells at Astral.
"Of course not." Astral replies.
"But you weren't here all this time!" Yuma complains.
"Y-Yuma-kun, why is he talking to himself?" Takashi asks Kotori and I worried about Yuma's mental state.
"Maybe that Dueling Spirit appeared!" Kotori says with a bit of pep.
"Talking with this guy's a waste of time!" Yuma huffs out.
"Ukyo-Sensei why are you doing this?!" I asked Ukyo to get the ball rolling.
"Consider this a challenge issued down from me, it is no different from Yuma's bringing it to em!" Ukyo says from his throne as he descends to the floor.
"A challenge huh." I muttered under my breath yeah I could work with this.
"No it's not, causing trouble for others isn't what we call bringing it to em!" Yuma yells out passionately.
"Yuma, let's Duel him, his heart is being engulfed by the Numbers trying to persuade him is pointless unless we remove the Numbers from him." Astral tells Yuma.
Yuma grins, "Le…"
"DUEL ME SENSEI!" I called out, "And If i win you'll stop the bomb." I told him
"Huh?!" Yuma says falling over in shock.
"Ito?" Kotori asks.
I looked at Ukyo, "You said it yourself this was a challenge right, well now I want you to accept my challenge, I'll defeat you with the flames burning in my soul!" I yelled out feeling a burning flame growing in my chest before throwing my arm out and a flame erupted engulfing my left arm before it dissipated leaving a Duel Disk on my arm and a deck inside it.
'This Duel Disk is Soul Burner's' I thought looking at the new duel disk getting used to the weight before pulling out the deck and looking it over, my eyes widened in surprise somehow my Vanguard deck and Yugioh Deck in my old life merged together into a new one.
"Duel?!" Ukyo says, his eyes glowing, "So be it, if you win I'll stop the virus bomb!" he says an Aura appearing around him.
"I'll rewrite this imagination of destruction and chaos!" I yelled out, "Deck Set!" I yelled out slamming my deck into the holder and activating the blade and my left eye had the familiar sensation overcome it, "Target: Lock on!"
"AR Vision - Link established." The computer said.
"DUEL!" Ukyo and I yelled out. (Ito: 4000) (Ukyo:4000)
"Yuma, are you sure this is a good idea, We do not know your friend's dueling abilities and if they cannot defeat the Numbers the situation will only turn worse and I do need that card." Astral points out.
"It's fine, I feel like I can trust in Ito, plus I really wanna see how she duels." Yuma says a bit lax.
"You can do it, Ito!" Kotori cheers me on.
I gave her a thumbs up.
"You better win, if you don't I'll be framed as a criminal!" Takashi says clasping his hands in prayer.
"I'll be going first,my turn Draw!" Ukyo says drawing his card, "I set a monster in face down defense position!" he says as the card appears on the field.
"Face-Down defense position, what kind of monster did he set?!" Yuma asks.
"I will leave it at that and end my turn." Ukyo says."
I grinned ferally, this feeling rushing through my body it was exactly what my duels were missing in my old life. I placed my two fingers on the top of my deck, "Ore no….TURN!" I yelled out, ripping the card from the top of my deck.

I hoped you all enjoyed reading this first chapter of a Zexal story that had been floating around in my head for a while so I decided to put it to digital paper and write it out. Over the next few days I will be spending quite a bit of time working on my stories and updating them since I am now in house lock down from current events. Aside from this one seeing a few updates be on the look out for these three stories besides In Another World With My Dueling Deck.

If anyone would be willing to help me out a bit for my 5D's Story I need some help on making a archetype called Kirawatt. it's supposed to be a Dark, Thunder type deck that is meant to basically be a darker counter part to Watts like Advanced Crystal Beasts are to Crystal Beasts.
