1Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Destiny. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own Destiny, Bungie and Microsoft do.
The trio of Hive Rulers had always waged war against each other. Their culture didn't allow such weak rulers.
That was one such thought as the Hive Witch Queen known as Savathun thought as the Hive god meditated.
She hated her brother, he had since traveled to Sol. She had taken her forces and followed him. Her brother had since gone from being a meek little king to slaying his worm and having the ability to take.
A power she coveted… She had made her plans and she would see her brother fall. She cared not for the Darkness nor it's endless conflict with the Traveler.
She wished to be a goddess and she would become one. Her brother had taken her power… She would take it back.
(Sol System, Moon)
The Warlock was known as Balint, he dropped down and put Blast Furnace onto his back as the Guardian looked at the monolith.
"You want to tell me what they sent me to go break into a dungeon the Vex took over?" He asked before starting to study the glyphs.
He wore a set of High-Minded Complex armor as he continued looking over the hieroglyphics.
"What the hell are you?" He asked before blinking.
(On Savathun's ship.)
the Witch Queen had her interest piqued. She summoned her magic into the monolith.
"Another inkling of the light, hmm?" She went to simply overwhelm the Warlock with her darkness before she was forced back a few steps.
The warrior had summoned his light which canceled out her darkness. Savathun blinked.
A warrior capable of matching HER magics? It was impossible… And yet it made her more curious, she hummed and turned around.
"He is quite powerful… Bring this one to me." She ordered the Grasp of Nokris along with a few dozen or men.
Her ship stopped at the edge of the Sol System. It seemed she would have time to plan… And wonder how a single Warlock had managed to elude her.
She mentally recalled the Hive. She would deal with her brother second. Oryx was many things but he was stubborn and arrogant, he was a monster, but monsters could be countered and she had time.
She ordered the Hive on the Moon to make sure nothing left the planet as she went to go and find the warrior. A Warlock able to deal with such darkness?
She could use an ally like that, her brother was too strong to handle hang on.
She knew he would attack Mars. She would wipe out his army there and weaken him. She ordered her army to rile up the Vex.
Not even Oryx could handle a 3-pronged war. She teleported to the moon and prepared to meet the warrior.
(Moon, Hellmouth)
Balint groaned as he rubbed at his head. He hissed in pain as he contacted his Ghost and sent a message to make sure his ship approached the moon.
That was before dozens of Acolytes started firing at him. He grunted and rolled behind cover as he pulled his gun off his back.
He started to fire at the group. He wondered what the Hive were doing. He brushed off his arms and he groaned before he leaned over the cover and started to fire.
"Of course, I manage to tick off the entire hive while I'm at it… Great, I'm going to die here." He muttered before shooting an Acolyte in the head.
He growled before shooting a few more in annoyance. He had no idea how many of the group continued to pour in.
Either the group knew that he had gone after the relic… Or the woman he had encountered indeed been calling in Hive to harass him.
He didn't know if he should be flattered or horrified that pretty much a hive queen had ordered them to go after him.
Actually? The second thing bothered him a hell of a lot more then the first, a Hive Queen.
He looked up only to see the being had already entered the room and looked at him dead on. He blinked and aimed his weapon towards her.
He blinked as she leapt halfway across the room to land in front of him. She gazed at him as she ordered the Hive to stand down.

Phew, another chapter done! I want to point out that this story will follow its own timeline and mostly focuses on the Hive and Vex. Next chapter will be on NEXT Sunday or so and will show Savathun and Balint talking and Oryx's invasion of the Mar's base and Savathun's war with him. Until Then, Lighting Wolf out!
