The Beach

Chapter 1

Disclaimer: Just a fun idea I started to think up while going through my watch of season 2 and takes place after the 'Agent Beefcake' two parter storyline.

Today was B-Day, the day Ellie Bartowski had been looking forward too for several weeks now ever since getting the idea. Naturally, it had taken quite a bit of planning to pull off so that everyone's schedules would coincide for B-Day. Or to be more accurate, Beach Day at the Santa Monica Pier. But said planning had wonderfully paid off and now her, Devon, her brother Chuck, his girlfriend Sarah, and his best friend Morgan Grimes, along with his girlfriend, Anna Wu, were all going to the beach. Casey had outright refused to go as such a thing just wasn't him at all but Chuck and Sarah both honestly didn't mind that one bit for one reason or another. "Alright, we are here!" Cheered Morgan excitedly once everyone got out of their respective vehicles in the parking lot.

"That we are, little buddy, that we are." Chuck added enthusiastically.

The fact there wasn't likely to be anyone wanting to blow up the place like Lazlo had tried was a pure extra bonus in Chuck's view! "And in case any of you forgot to bring it, I've made sure to bring plenty of Sunscreen." Ellie threw in as she and Devon grabbed what they brought with them from their car.

Anna shrugged. "I don't really burn easily."

Hearing that made Morgan a little unhappy, something she saw quickly and smiled at him. "But I certainly won't mind your hands rubbing some on me." She whispered into his ear.

Causing him to shiver and fist pump. "Yes!"

Chuckling, Anna wrapped her arm around his and the two made their way onward. Smirking to herself, Sarah leaned in close to Chuck. "I may need a little help getting it all on me as well."

His brain shutting down caused her to laugh as it was great to get that reaction from him at times. "Aww, did I break you again?" She asked teasingly with a kiss to his cheek.

The sight of the whole thing making Ellie grin widely at in happiness. I so hope these two can finally get on the same page for good. And who knows, maybe today will see that happen!

"Today is gonna be Awesome!"

"I sure hope so, babe."

The group soon made their way to where Anna and Morgan had chosen a spot for their group get together. Though Sarah had to hold Chuck's hand to help him get there since he was still rebooting his brain but she certainly didn't mind holding his hand. If there's one good thing to have come from having met Cole, its that he's helped me realize and truly accept what and who I really want. Its going to be tough but we can do it.

If and when Chuck managed to somehow free himself of the Intersect, Sarah would all too willingly retire so that they could be together. Chuck himself had yet to know any of this but if things really went well today and she didn't chicken out or let her inner Agent take over, he'd know all that. Once the gang were all set up, the girls revealed their swimwear much to the liking of the respective boys in their lives. Ellie and Anna had respectively chosen to wear one piece bathing suits with purple and yellow coloring while Sarah had chosen to wear a two piece red colored swimwear. "Hi-yo!" Called out Chuck as it was damned eye catching on her!

Sarah smirked in a pleased manner over her Nerd's reaction. "Take it you like?"

He could only nod as his brain was threatening to shut down again. "Man, the three of you are definitely gonna get some looks our way." Devon said with a grin on his face.

Sarah shrugged as she looked at him and Chuck. "Maybe, but the only eyes I care about having on me are Chuck's."

"Hwa?" Muttered Chuck dazedly and getting laughs from the others.
