Tonight can't seem to be more perfect. They are sitting in a luxurious restaurant, on the table whose view is the magnificent and dreamy night sky. This entire space was reserved only for two. The warm light from candles envelopes them and the sight of the skyscraper forest gleaming through several glass panels becomes their romantic seasonings.

Rinslet and Janus is looking deep into each other eyes, lost in the land of lovers. Despite hating to admit it, Rinslet can't help herself thinking how sweet and irresistible he is when he gets serious to make her fall for him. They just exited the building. Now that the wonderful night must come to an end, the couple is willing to do anything to make it last a bit longer. Janus has intended to call his driver to take her home, but she insisted that they should walk, side by side to a small lake near where they are. He is more than happy to comply. This is a positive sign that indicates her growing affection. She has become the apple of his eyes since they first met. And from that day on, his greatest wish has always been that sometime in the near future, he can be the same to her.

They have playful banters and most of those result in she hitting him on the back of his head. Nonetheless, hidden under his beloved amazing strength is an undeniable sense of softness and pure glee every time they touch. Those strange, blissful feelings flows into his soul so naturally. It was as if they were their different versions of themselves in another dimension. Where he wasn't an assassin for some underground organization, and she was just a sassy, unique Rinslet, having a date together, sharing a kiss for goodnight. He was going to tell her that they would see each other again when they split up. She would probably mock or give him a fake scowl, but eventually exclaimed that some restaurant in her neighborhood had special dishes on next Saturday. By that, his grind went wider and his mind taking notes on itself " so next Saturday it is."

But he will be on a mission tomorrow, and she never tells him her dates for the next jobs. So when they reach their destination , the two of them are content to enjoy the other's company in silence, setting their vision on the opposite side of the lake, remembering this moment in their heart. An end is inevitable. So it will be with no regret.

Rinslet is surprised to see herself filled with eagerness to their second date. Sitting in the backseat of the black limousine which Janus has it waiting for her only, her head is on nine clouds. She has encountered all kinds of men before. Even so, she has never considered it fortunate to be chased by them. To be honest, nearly all of them are the reason why she holds grudge over the other half of the world. And in one night, Janus turned everything around. He is definitely to blame for those butterflies in her stomach now, for this leather seats serving her like a queen, for her to feel so delighted, so satisfied to be... Rinslet. "Damn you, Janus."

She tells the driver to take his time cause she wants to linger here for a little longer. Well, her stupid heart continuously imagines the scene when she lies on the bed and drip off just to wake up realizing that all this emotion has gone, that things are never going to be the same. In order to quiet its crazy, erratic beats in her chest, she guesses she has no other choices but to follow its unreasonable need this time.

Everything was flawless until a familiar figure falls into her blue pools. It is Janus. He is standing at a bubble tea store, talking to the salesman. Weird as it sounds, they seem to be closed. She immediately instructs the driver to pull over in some dark corner, suitable spot to observe. The idea of him maybe have his mission concerned with this man pops up in her mind, but she dismisses it right away. Janus's look is full with easiness and if she is not mistaking, there's even glow glinting in his earthy eyes. Both men's expression are relaxing, as if they are in the middle of a reminiscent of their good old days. Their conversation only lasts for only about two minutes. However, the effects its content leaves on Rinslet doesn't wear off that quickly.

" Again today, Janus ?" With slight chuckles from the young man behind the counter.

" Yeah. It's her synonym for " water" now." A small sigh escaped Janus's lips, then the two bursts into laughters.

" Can't be blamed. Maybe she has fallen for my charms."

" You wish. " comes Janus cocky reply.

"We'll see about that after you tell her it was this handsome guy who put extra black pearls in her cups."

" Sephiria's standards aren't based on those things. But nice try, buddy." Said Janus with a smirk, taking the plastic bags carrying two cups of bubble tea with black pearls topping.

"Be a generous man for once and tell her that, got it ?" The salesman calls after him. His voice resonates in the night.

" Always, dude. Sadly, ma dame is just too focus on these black, jelly objects. You keep letting the wolves into the folds." Janus answers him with a prideful tone and finally bids him goodbye.

What just happened ?

And what the hell is with that calling such a devil "ma dame" ?

Anyway, considering how endearing Janus was when he mentioned that necromancer, how loving he seemed as her name came up, it can't be anything of luck.

"Screw you all, gods."

Sephiria, you'd better have your ass covered and get a helmet for those blonde locks of yours.

Cause now, this means war. And this Rinslet, is charging HEAD on.
