"What should we do with his.. mate?" The elder warrior scoffed.

The old Yautja stared at the female ooman with disgust in his eyes. He gaze was met by the green eyes of a weaker being, always unworthy of a Yautja.

The ooman was not a proper mate for a Yautja. A cursed bond from the beginning between her and a foolish temper filled Yautja. The elder warrior sneered at what had become of the warrior who fucked her.

"We should kill the ooman and be done with the nonsense her presence has caused this clan."

The heavily scarred former hunter struggled against his restraint as his ooman was approached. The enforcer held the restraint around his wrists, and beat him over the head with the side of his combistick.

Gan'yut flinched with a growl, but he settled on his knees where he fell. He was already bleeding from a flesh wound on his crest, now he felt a new wound on the back of his head. The dull pain throbbed, but he had more important things to dwell on.

Now a bad blood, and with execution looming, Gan'yut had no future. Paya had forsaken him, and everything he'd ever accomplished had already been erased. He wasn't in a position to protect her, but he would do his utmost to try. While she had brought him trouble, and had caused him dishonor, she still was his.

Eva was wide eyed with fear. She stood frozen when the approaching enforcer grabbed her by the hair, she let out a shriek.

"No!" Gan'yut shouted, "The ooman has never broken a law! She can be spared! She is not worthy prey!"

"And, if we spare her, what kind of life will she live?"

Gan'yut did not answer the elder. He kept his eyes on his mate.

"If she isn't killed, she will become a slave, or a pet, and tortured till she dies a tortured death," the old Yautja sneered. "Protecting her has doomed your fate, and you still think of this lower creature? Need I remind you that I spoke against this unnatural union from the start?"

Eva was sobbing, gripping her hair because the enforcer's hold had not loosened. Gan'yut sought out her eyes, wishing to look into the green orbs as long as he could. Her eyes were closed tight.

"She is not the cause of my dishonor, my own weakness and lack of control has finally got the best of me." Gan'yut bowed his head in shame.

The elder warrior stared at the former hunter thoughtfully. "I won't make you watch her death tarei'hsan. She will watch yours."

Gan'yut bowed his head again and stared at the floor. Eva began to struggle, tears running down her cheeks. "No please no! It was an accident! Gan'yut.. Gan'yut didn't mean to kill that Yautja!"

She cried and begged, only silencing with a cry when she was smacked harshly in the faced by the enforcer. The male that restrained Gan'yut had to force him back on his knees. He struggled and was pinned to the floor, his extended mandibles pressing painfully into the cold floor.

"Take his skull."

The enforcer that held onto Gan'yut did not need to be told twice. Gan'yut closed his eyes when he felt talons gripping his neck. He heard his ooman begging and pleading in the background.

Translation:Tarei'hsan = litterally means "bug", slang for "unworthy"

Author's Notes:I wasn't in the mood to work on my bigger stories, but I had this random idea. I wrote it really fast, it was a bit of a warm-up story, and also kinda depressing. Comment your thoughts and opinions, thank you for your reviews, they are really appreciated.
