Dangerous Creature

It was a dark night in the jungle. A young boy named Mowgli crept through the jungle with a lite torch as he headed towards a large mountain with a cave. Mowgli was slender, with tan skin, black hair, brown eyes, and the only article of clothing he wore was a red langot. Mowgli was a brave and curious boy. He had heard tales of a mysterious and dangerous creature the likes of which no had ever seen that lived in the cave that he was currently heading towards. Mowgli had meet many animals in the jungle and had survived many wild animal attacks, so he felt pretty confident that he could handle whatever animal lived in the cave.

After a little more traveling Mowgli reached the cave and went inside. The torch cast a light through the darkness as Mowgli looked around. As he went deeper and deeper into the cave he came across various human and animal bones and his courage began to falter. Mowgli was fixing to turn around and leave the cave, when he stepped on a bone and it made a loud cracking noise that echoed through the cave. Everything was silent for a then something massive began to move in Mowgli's direction and then he got his first real good look at the creature.

The creature was a massive, dragon-like reptilian creature with dark purple skin. Its body was rather bulky and it crawls using 2 legs with 4-fingered hands that had white claws. The head of the beast resembled a cross between a snake's and a monkey's and sporting a long, serpentine neck, a large mouth filled with white fangs, orange eyes with slit pupils, and spikes lining the top of it's heads down the length of it's necks. The monster was known as the Hydra.

Mowgli stared up at the Hydra with a mix of awe and horror. The Hydra looked down at Mowgli with interest and a hungry look appeared in it's eyes. Mowgli quickly realized the danger he was in and quickly turned around and began running. He didn't get too far though. In a quick burst of motion the Hydra grabbed Mowgli by the back of his langot and lifted him high into the air. The sudden grab and motion caused Mowgli to drop his torch and it clattered to the ground. The Hydra flew Mowgli high into the air. Mowgli screamed as he tumbled through the air and fell right into the Hydra's open mouth. The Hydra closed it's mouth and swallowed.

GULP!

A round lump went down the Hydra's neck and vanished into it's body. Mowgli went down the Hydra's neck and soon landed in the stomach with a splash. The boy was surrounded by absolute darkness and a great feeling of despair went through him as the Hydra let forth a mighty belch.

UUUUUURRRRRPPP!

Feeling satisfied the Hydra settled down on the ground and went to sleep as it's stomach went about digesting it's contents.
