The changeling sighed as he dropped his head into his hands.

The one person who really knew him couldn't – no. wouldn't remember him.

A sorrowful smile forced its way onto his face at the thought of the girl. Terra. Over her short time with the Titans the two had become close, both knowing there was more between them.

A gentle knock came from his door, "Beast Boy, is everything alright in there?"

He sighed. "Go away, Raven."

He heard the sliding sound of his door opening, looking up he saw the pale, slim figure. Pulling her hood down, she walked in.

"What's wrong?"

"Why do you even care?"

"I may keep my emotions to a minimum, but that doesn't make me heartless."

He watched as she sat in front of him, waiting for him to talk.

"Terra. Apparently, she's choosing not to remember us, to remember me." He brushed his hands against each other, taking quick looks at the girl opposite. "The one person who truly cared about me, who really knew and understood me… wants nothing to do with me."

"Beast Boy, the Titans care about you-"

"No!" His voice raised, he glanced at the ground. "She listened to me. She never once looked at me like I was just some dumb kid. She laughed at my jokes, even the ones which weren't very good. We helped each other feel wanted… accepted."

She waited, ensuring he'd finished speaking. "If you tell anybody I did this…"

She wrapped her arms around his shoulders, pulling him into an embrace. "Your team love and care for you. I care for you. Don't you ever forget that." She moved back a bit, kissing his cheek before she pulled up her hood and left the room. Leaving a rather shocked, and red-cheeked Beast Boy.

He placed a hand on his cheek, "she cares for me."
