All right, here it comes! The true ending to this story, the canon ending of the story, the ending that I was AIMING towards... anyway, here's the good ending of "Touchy-Feely Sister"!
Arnold bit his lip a bit as he looked between the two panties the girls were wearing. It was pretty obvious who Lulu was the minute he noticed the green and blue striped panties... but did he have the guts to turn her in? He clearly didn't know EXACTLY what was going on, due to all the confusion, but maybe it was all just a big misunderstanding. He was reminded of those old movies that he watched where a good guy wanted so desperately to be a bad guy that she hitched herself with said criminal and went on many adventures together. Arnold couldn't help but smile to himself, thinking about that movie...
On the other hand, there was Lila, in an attempt to disguise herself as Lulu, who had the white panties on. Even if Lila didn't tell him about his cousin and Lulu, Arnold would have known right away this wasn't Lulu anyway, because he distinctly remembered what panties Lulu told him she was going to wear. But if Lila had went through all this trouble just to tell her what she had found out about Lulu, then... maybe it was a good thing he told her.
He groaned, knowing that it was confusing. He looked between his shoulder angel, who looked like he was remaining neutral, and his shoulder devil, also remaining neutral. He looked between the two girls as he couldn't help but note that Lulu, dressed as Lila, looked slightly to her left to peek out at the nervous Arnold and winked at him. Arnold turned and noticed that Lila, dressed as Lulu, was shutting her eyes nervously, obviously not wanting to be here and looking rather embarrassed by the fact she was doing this.
Arnold noted both looks as he started to think about it. Did he truly know Lulu? He had to admit, she opened him up to brand new experiences he never thought possible... but the more he thought about it, the more he realized that all the relationship ever was between them was... non-existent. His eyes widened as his mind started to clear. Anything that Arnold wanted to get interested in or something concerning anything involving him, Lulu would just quietly shut him up with an offer for more of the fun she offered him...
And the more he thought about it, the more... sick he felt. ESPECIALLY if Lila, who, again, went to the trouble of disguising herself as Lulu to get her to break up with him... he had made his decision. He knew Lila for MORE time than he ever had with Lulu... who was only here for... what, two weeks, maximum? Arnold frowned as he had made up his mind.
Arnold then looked at the police, still looking confused as to what the boy was asking. "Officers, the girl you're looking to arrest..."
Lulu gave a grin as Lila opened one eye, obviously nervous as Arnold walked over to the girls... before Arnold pointed to the girl in disguise. "...is this one!"
Lila looked up and noted Arnold's finger pointed to Lulu, in the Lila dress. She gave a happy sigh of relief. "Oh thank goodness."
Lulu looked confused as she turned... with her eyes widening in shock as Arnold was pointing directly at her. "Wait, what? Are you sure you picked the right girl? Uh, maybe look again!"
"Lulu, you're not fooling anybody." Arnold frowned before turning to Lila. "I will admit, I was thrown off for a while, but... I think I know who my true friends are..."
"But you can't possibly-" Lulu started to say as the officers looked surprised.
"Wow, we almost arrested the wrong girl!" One of the officers said. "Cuff her, boys!"
"Hey!" Lulu said as one of the officers ran over and grabbed the girl by the hands as she was dragging her off. As for Lila, she gave a sigh of relief as she turned to Arnold.
"Oh Arnold, thank you ever so much for trusting me... I'm sorry I had to disguise myself as Lulu, but this all started because I discovered the diary about Arnie, and... I don't know why the police are here, but..." Lila smiled towards Arnold. "Thank you ever so much. But how did you know that it was me?"
Arnold blushed in embarrassment as he covered his face in shame. Lila cocked her head in confusion... before her eyes widened as she covered her mouth in shock. "Oh my goodness... OH MY GOODNESS!"
"Lila, please... I wasn't... I didn't..." Arnold tried to talk, but he couldn't form the right words.
"YOU LITTLE PERVERT!" Lila screamed in the football head's face. "DO YOU LOOK UP EVERY GIRL'S SKIRT FOR A THRILL? A FREE SHOW?"
"N-no!" Arnold started to stammer. "Lila, I wasn't intending-"
Lila growled at Arnold before raising her hand up and slapping him in the face, causing Arnold to recoil from the pain. Arnold groaned as he rubbed his face. From the shoulders, Arnold's shoulder devil winced as he saw the stinging hand print left on by the girl herself. "Ouch... that is definitely going to sting."
Arnold's shoulder angel sadly nodded, before turning to the boy himself. "Well, Arnold, you got slapped, but I hope that finally knocked some sense into you."
Arnold rubbed his face as he looked at Lila in guilt. Lila frowned as she crossed her arms. "Thanks for saving my life, Arnold, but I would ever so appreciate it if you never use me as a way to look up my skirt... again."
Arnold looked down sadly. "That's fair..."
"Well, come on!" Lila said as she motioned for Arnold to go over. "Let's just get out of here so I can try to forget you used me as a peep show!"
Arnold sighed as he nodded, walking out, following the red haired girl he had once like-liked.
Once they were outside, the officers had surrounded a very annoyed Lulu as she was cuffed up. Lila looked over, still as confused as ever, momentarily putting Arnold's perverted moment aside as she noticed a familiar car pulling up. She saw her father getting out of the car and going over to the officers in horror. Lila happily sighed in relief as she ran over. "Daddy!"
"Wh- Lulu?" Mr. Sawyer asked as he noted the girl approaching him.
"No, Lila!" Lila shook her head. "I twin-switched to talk to Arnold, and everything went wrong, and my sister was trying to throw me in jail, but Arnold saved my life! But I'm still confused!"
Mr. Sawyer examined the girl dressed as Lulu and looked at the girl's shining eyes, before looking close, smiling in relief... before pausing, turning to see Lulu still getting cuffed, before turning to his little girl. "Don't worry, Lila, I'll sort this all out. Excuse me, sir?"
Arnold could only watch as he looked over, holding his head as he couldn't quite grasp what was going on. But still, he heard the officer talking to Mr. Sawyer, "Who might you be?"
"I'm this girl's daughter!" Mr. Sawyer frowned, pointing to Lulu, as she looked up. "And I demand to know what is happening!"
"Ah, Mr. Sawyer, then. Sorry to say this, Mr. Sawyer, but this girl has been arrested for kidnapping young boys. Secret operation and all that. And pretty soon, we'll get the location of her mother's whereabouts!" The officer said.
Arnold's eyes widened in shock as this new information was entering his mind. Arnold's shoulder devil gasped in horror. "Kidnapping? Whoa, whoa, whoa! Getting you to explore your desires is one thing, but kidnapping is NOT on my agenda!"
Arnold's angel, looking over towards the devil, clicked his tongue in disappointment. "Now you think she's a bad influence?"
"Mother's whereab- no..." Mr. Sawyer said in horror as he looked down. "She promised me that she wouldn't do this. She promised me!"
The officer looked over in sympathy as he went over and patted the man on the back. "I'm sorry, but I'm afraid it's all true. Some junior detectives collected a lot of evidence against this girl, and she was connected..."
"...the same way that it happened years ago..." Mr. Sawyer winced as Lila looked up to him in confusion.
"Daddy?" Lila asked, looking concerned. "What's going on?"
Mr. Sawyer looked over to his daughter in disappointment. "Lila, I'm sorry. I didn't want you to find out this way..."
Just as Mr. Sawyer was about to explain the story of her mother and everything, another police car approached, along with a Packard as everyone turned. Arnold paused as he noticed Gerald, Phoebe and another officer getting out of the police car, and his grandfather Phil was getting out of the Packard, looking a little winded.
"Gerald? Phoebe?" Arnold asked. "G-grandpa?"
Phil looked over and noticed Arnold standing there. Phil glared at Arnold as the boy winced, shutting his eyes. Arnold's shoulder devil groaned as he said, "Great, we've been caught. Been nice knowing the outside world..."
"Arnold... we're not too late!" Phil sighed in relief as he grabbed Arnold and hugged him closely, confusing Arnold. "Shortman, whatever you do, don't listen to that hussy, Lulu! She's the one who turned you into the thief!"
"H-huh?" Arnold asked, looking at his grandfather in confusion.
"Shortman, I'm sorry. I should have known that the country girl you were seeing was a bad influence the minute she walked in, but we didn't even notice or pay attention!" Phil looked down. "And... I think I understand WHY you took that money... if I was trying to impress a girl, I'd totally steal from my parents's safe too!"
"I-I don't understand..." Arnold said, trying to comprehend this.
"It doesn't matter..." Phil looked over and smiled as he pulled Arnold into a hug. "You're safe now..."
Arnold wasn't quite sure what to make of the situation as Gerald walked over to Arnold as Phil let him go. "Arnold, buddy? How do you feel?"
"...confused. Hurt. Like I don't even comprehend this situation right now..." Arnold bit his lip as he looked over towards the girl that was being arrested.
"Well... how do you feel about Lulu?" Gerald raised an eyebrow, looking towards Arnold's direction.
"I-I don't know... I heard conflicting things about her tonight... like she was going out with my cousin, and then she's a terrible person? But... how can this be?" Arnold said in worry, much to Gerald and Phil's concern. "She's been the most wonderful girl I've met, she was always wonderful to me, I want to say I made a mistake, but I don't know if I'm right or wrong any more!"
Arnold went down on his knees, holding his face, looking ready to sob, much to Lulu's notice. The country girl didn't have much to say though as she looked over towards Phoebe, walking towards her with an angry attitude. Lulu scoffed as she said, "So... you solved my mystery and the bad girl has been apprehended. Congratulations. You must feel SO proud of yourself."
"I feel delighted." Phoebe frowned. "There's just one thing that's bothering me. How are you strong enough to crush a locket made of metal?"
Lulu raised an eyebrow as she gave a smirk. "Do you really want to know?"
Phoebe gave a nod, still glaring at the girl. She gave a grin as she stood up, the officer letting her go. "Very well. In my work of business, my mother always made me exercise... and made me eat the right things. I may look scrawny to you when I have the clothes on, but Arnold saw how well-toned I can be. Besides, I crushed a lot of cans in my past time, metal is nothing. Like these cuffs are."
SNAP!
The officers gasped as everyone immediately turned to Lulu as she showed her hands. Both parts of the cuffs were still attached to her, but the metal chains holding them has broken off. One of the officers tried to grab Lulu, but Lulu had... a lot more fighting skills than most people gave her credit for. She did a clean sweep of the officer's leg, causing the man to fall down, his taser gun falling down. Lulu immediately swiped the taser as she opened the police car door containing Fifi. Phoebe shook her head in shock as she turned to one of the officers in annoyance.
"YOU BROUGHT HER WITH YOU?!" Phoebe growled, causing the officer to grin sheepishly.
"I just thought we'd take her... as a back-up, in case she wasn't leaving..." The officer chuckled nervously as Lulu managed to grab Fifi's cuffs and break them by the metal, causing everyone to stare in shock.
"That's... that's my sister?" Lila asked as Mr. Sawyer held her close. "Why is she-"
"Lila, I'm sorry... I was stupid, I should have fought harder for her!" Mr. Sawyer looked down in sadness as the red haired girl looked at her in concern.
"Hey!" Phoebe growled as Lulu tried to walk over to Arnold. "Stay away fr-"
Lulu then aimed the taser at her and turned it on Phoebe, causing the Japanese girl to ellicit a scream as a few thousand volts went right through her.
"PHOEBE!" Gerald gasped as he let go of Arnold, running over to the clearly tazed girl.
Arnold looked up to see Lulu, the same lovely face he once saw, he once thought he loved... he saw a different side to it... and so did Arnold's shoulder devil and Arnold's shoulder angel.
"Whoa, uh..." The shoulder devil looked nervous. "Did she always have that unsettling face to her?"
Phil growled as he stepped between the approaching girl and Arnold. "You stay away from him, you-"
Lulu responded by pointing the turned on taser at him and electrocuting the old man, causing the old man to keel over in pain. Arnold covered his mouth. "G-grandpa!"
Arnold turned angrily to Lulu as the girl approached the boy happily. "What did you do to him?"
"Honey, it's okay. You're just confused. Maybe one little kiss will sort it all out..." Lulu grinned as she grabbed Arnold and put her lips on his, being forced into a kiss. Arnold tried to struggle, but for some reason, he couldn't fight it.
Arnold's shoulder devil was staring aghast at this as he noticed Arnold's eyes getting dazed. "Arnold, no, don't fall for those tricks! I can't believe I'm saying this, but listen to him!"
Arnold's shoulder angel looked over at the shoulder devil in surprise as he was pointed at... before giving a smile, feeling wanted. "Yes, Arnold, listen to me! This girl is trouble! She's bad news!"
"Come on, man!" Arnold's shoulder devil begged.
"Back off the boy!" One of the officers tried to charge at the kissing couple, only for Lulu to use the taser on the officer approaching.
Another officer watched in amazement as he noted, "Wow, she can kiss somebody AND taser in one kick..."
Mr. Sawyer, who happened to be right next to the officer, sighed, "She really DID learn from her mother..."
After a moment, Arnold and Lulu separated as she patted the dazed boy on the head. "Now, who is it you want?"
"I want you..." Arnold said in a daze, looking right at Lulu with glazed eyes.
Arnold's shoulder devil and shoulder angel stared in horror as Arnold's shoulder devil exclaimed, "WHAT! No, no, no, no!"
"Does this mean... you were never influencing his choice to begin with?" Arnold's shoulder angel gasped, when he noticed something peculiar. Two Lulu shoulder devils were grinning as they summoned a bed and patted it. Arnold's shoulder devil and shoulder angel stared flabbergasted as Arnold's shoulder devil bit his lip.
"They look so tempting... ugh! But I know they're not the right choice!" Arnold's shoulder devil proclaimed before turning to Arnold's shoulder angel. "You were right all along, I should have listened to you..."
"Well... now we're stuck with a brainwashed boy..." Arnold's shoulder angel looked down. "It's going to take a miracle to get us out of here..."
Back with the others, they heard Arnold's dazed sentence as Gerald gasped and yelled, "NOOOOOOO! Arnold, you don't mean that! That's just some strange hormones talking!"
"More like a hypnotizing way to make sure boys like Arnold stay in her control..." Mr. Sawyer looked down. "Her family has a talent of playing the sympathy card, the romance card... heck, any card in the pile, and any boy will be like putty in minutes..."
Lulu grinned as she turned to the others, dropping the country accent and slipping into her true accent. "Well, that's bloody fantastic, isn't it?"
"Oh, Lulu, when did you learn to be sexy with a British accent? You little minx..." Arnold grinned as he tickled under the girl's chin.
"And... there it is. The pinnacle that she truly IS her mother's daughter..." Mr. Sawyer sighed as Lulu turned to the family.
"I'm sorry you had to find out about me this way, my dear family, but believe me, this'll be the last time we see each other." Lulu said as Fifi ran inside to the train station. "Now, I'm going to take my BOYFRIEND to his new home, and if any of you try to stop me, you'll just get tasered to the next dimension!"
"Oh, Lulu, you make me so... hard..." Arnold said, still dazed as his hands was on her shoulders.
"Arnold...?" Gerald said as he and the others were now seeing what this dazed Arnold is like for the first time.
"That's not Arnold... I mean... it is Arnold... but he's not OUR Arnold." Phil said. "He's acting more of a... braindead Arnold..."
"That's right, old man. Say good-bye to your grandson, because you're never seeing him again." Lulu said as she grabbed Arnold's hand. "Now, come along dear..."
"Yes, mistress..." Arnold said.
Phoebe growled as she yelled to Lulu, "You're not getting away with this!"
"I'm already getting away with it." Lulu giggled. "Besides, who's going to stop me? Any of you? You saw what I can do to a pair of handcuffs, who's going to stop me?"
Lulu looked around as the officers stared in shock, Mr. Sawyer was looking down in shame, as was Lila, and Gerald was holding an electrified Phoebe close. Phil was also trying to get up, but he could feel his bones being shaken. Lulu gave a smirk. "Exactly what I-"
All of a sudden, she felt a tap on her shoulder. Lulu turned... only to find an angry looking blonde haired girl with two casts on both her arms and a hospital gown being worn standing right behind her. Helga then used one of her casts to punch Lulu in the face, causing the girl to drop the taser. The dazed Arnold noticed as he seemed to be noticing something.
"Uh... uh... Helga?" Arnold asked in confusion, before rubbing his head. "Wh-what happened?"
Arnold's shoulder angel and shoulder devil looked in surprise as they looked delighted, and worried. "That is Helga, isn't it? She came to save us in a time of need!"
"And..." Arnold's shoulder devil gave a grin as he pulled out some binoculars and put them on his eyes, focusing them. "She's wearing nothing but a hospital gown! Oh my, you realize what this means, don't you?"
"Really? Of all the times to-" Arnold's shoulder angel looked at the shoulder devil in annoyance before looking up... before his eyes widened in curiosity. "Oh my... huh. That is very interesting, isn't it?"
Lulu groaned as she rubbed her face. "Y-you? But... how? I broke you! You saw the things I did to this boy!"
"Funny thing about broken people. They can be fixed with the right words." Helga smirked as she turned to Phoebe, who smiled as she saw the girl in the shadows. Everyone looked over in amazement as they were talking discreetly about the mysterious broken-armed hero that swooped in at the last moment.
Lulu growled as she stared intensely at Helga. "You do realize I ruined this boy for you, right? His virginity is gone! He's been soiled for life! Why would you try to fight for him now?"
Helga paused as she looked over at the boy, who was sitting down, holding his head and watching the fight, still looking very confused. Helga sighed, "Maybe he is... but he's still Arnold. Deep inside, he's still the boy that I always looked up to, and you know what? Maybe not all men are perfect, but when I saw him save Lila over you... that was enough for me."
Lulu growled as she tried to run over and jump her, but Helga managed to cross both casts on both her arms, causing the British speaking country girl to wince in pain. Helga grinned as she lowered her glare at him. "Oh yeah, funny thing about casts? If used as weapons, they hurt... immensely."
Lulu bit her lip as Helga narrowed her eyes at the girl and put her face to hers. "If you really were telling the truth back there... on the tape... then I doubt Arnold would VERY much approve of what you did to him... see it through to the end or get rid of it, I don't care what you do... but if you ever try to approach HIM again, I will not hesitate to break you down."
"You think you can threaten me?" Lulu growled. "When I can show a great deal of strength?"
"Your strength may be great..." Helga smirked. "But I'm fighting with a strength greater than your lust..."
Lulu bared her teeth at Helga as Lulu let go.
"LAST CALL FOR THE SPIREVILLE TRAIN!" Someone announced as Lulu's eyes widened. She stomped her feet in anger as she turned to Helga.
"Fine. You can have this broken boy for all I care. But know this! Someday, when you least expect it, I'll return for him! It's only a matter of the inevitable!" Lulu threatened before running into the train station.
The officers quickly recovered from the surprise fight between the two girls as a few of them tried to get in the train station to stop Lulu and Fifi from leaving... but the train whistle indicated that it was already too late. As the train left, some officers got back in their cars and tried to give chase to the locomotive... leaving only a few select officers, with Helga feeling satisfied with herself, a very confused Arnold holding his head, a sad and disappointed Lila and Mr. Sawyer, a just recovered Phil running over to his grandson, and Gerald and Phoebe who were clinging on to each other as they ran over to Helga.
"Helga... we didn't think you'd-" Phoebe started. "What made you come here?"
Helga paused as she looked over towards a crying, horrified and confused Arnold as Phil pulled the boy close, trying to comfort him. Helga paused as she gave a sigh, "Let's just say... a friend needed help, and it was thanks to another friend's coaxing that... I got here in time."
Gerald and Phoebe looked at each other and smiled as Helga groaned in pain. "Could you two take me back to the hospital, please? I don't think my arms are healing any faster..."
The couple nodded as they started to take Helga by the back, leading them over to the officer about to get into his car as they agreed to take Helga back. As Helga got back in the car, the girl couldn't help but look out the window as Phil was taking Arnold over to the Packard, one of the officers giving him a blanket to cover up, as if Arnold was being treated as an addict who couldn't get enough. She gave a sad sigh, but smiled. "Oh Arnold... even without your virginity... you've always have been a trusting person... I guess your trust was just too good..."
FIVE MONTHS LATER
It was another day in the psychiatrist's office as Helga was gently sitting down, waiting for her appointment with Dr. Bliss. She couldn't help but give a small smile. Things had really changed for her since the past couple of months. Sure, her family had been found out about crimes they committed and were deemed unworthy of raising Helga. But it did reunite her with Phoebe for the most part, making her a part of the Heyerdahl family, so things were looking quite well for her. Her social life at school dwindled a bit, but it was understandable, as she was quite the talk of the school for the past five months. How she had been mysteriously kidnapped, only to come in and save Arnold for a fate worse than death at the last minute. It felt nice to be a bit popular.
But regardless, she heard the stories about Arnold and his... curiosity of peeking up skirts that had went around school. She had guessed that Lila had spread that story to Rhonda, causing Rhonda to tell every girl about Arnold's tendencies. Helga felt a little happy though, because that meant no girl would probably be interested in Arnold after hearing how much of a perv he was... still, she couldn't help but feel bad for him. He hadn't come to school for a little while, nor had she heard from his grandparents or anybody else. Gerald said he saw Arnold a couple of times for past couple months, but she was told he was still recovering from the experience he had witnessed.
Not that she blamed him. She still had a bit of a trigger whenever Fifi was mentioned, and it was Phoebe that suggested she'd get a little therapy session. With nothing better to do, Helga took that opportunity as she met up with Dr. Bliss for the past couple months. She had to admit, she and her psychiatrist got along pretty good.
However, it was on this particular day that while she was waiting, she noticed the door opening up. Imagine her surprise when she saw a familiar football headed boy walking out of the room. Helga yelped as she tried to hide her face behind a book, but it was too late.
"Helga?"
Helga looked up in shame as she noticed Arnold approaching her. He seemed to be doing okay, looking like the same concerned boy she knew. "Arnold?"
Arnold gave a small, sheepish smile as he said, "Y-yeah. I didn't know you came here..."
"I'm... just as surprised as you are." Helga smiled nervously, before frowning. "Why are you here?"
Arnold sighed. "Ever since I found out Lulu was only using me for her terrible activities, I've been staying in the boarding house most of the time. Grandpa and Grandma are afraid that I might fall into temptation again."
"Not that I blame them." Helga laughed a bit as Arnold joined in the laughter.
After a minute of silence, Arnold turned to Helga in concern. "Uh... is it all right if I sit here with you? My grandparents aren't going to be arriving until another ten minutes, and I finished my session pretty early."
"Well... if you must." Helga said as she gave a nod.
Arnold gave a small smile before sitting down next to Helga, but tried to keep a good distance from her as he looked over to the girl. "I never had a chance to thank you... for saving my life back there."
"That? Hey, don't worry about it." Helga laughed a bit. "You were in trouble and I figured you needed somebody to step in and take care of it. I swear, football head, I don't know HOW you get in these messes."
Arnold chuckled nervously, before looking down in shame. "So... Gerald told me everything."
Helga paused as she bit her lip. "What did he tell you?"
"Just that you were kidnapped by Lulu's friend and... she did horrible things to you and..." Arnold held his head. "I feel so ashamed I didn't even notice!"
Helga gave a sigh of relief, realizing that Gerald didn't tell him EVERYTHING. "Honestly, it's not a big deal to me anymore..."
Arnold looked over to the girl in surprise. "But Helga... you got... well, you know..."
"Hey, to be fair, you were... well, you had it done to you too." Helga laughed a bit... before pausing. "Right?"
Arnold paused to think about this. Helga looked over as she noted Arnold thinking. At this moment, two little figures appeared on Helga's shoulders. One was Helga's shoulder angel, and the other was Helga's shoulder devil. Helga's shoulder angel frowned as she held her head, "Oh, there he goes. He's trying to think up some pathetic lie to deny the fact that he didn't enjoy it."
"Do you honestly care?" Helga's shoulder devil asked the shoulder angel, who paused.
"Well... no, I guess not." Helga's shoulder angel shrugged. "But I know he's ashamed of it now. Let's not tease him any further, okay?"
Helga and her shoulder deities nodded as she looked over to Arnold. Arnold paused as he said, "You know... I thought I enjoyed my time with Lulu... but after the lies and deceit I was exposed to... I'm not even sure any of it was real..."
Helga gave a small smile. "Well, hey, at least you learned something, right? Maybe the next girl you meet will be more honest with you."
Arnold looked over at Helga in discontempt. "I'm not even sure I want to go out with another girl... Gerald told me that Lila said to everyone about my skirt looking habit. All of them said they didn't want to hang out with me if I were to do that..."
Helga looked surprised, before scoffing. "Hmph, what do they know! Relax, the other students will probably remember more the good stuff you did for them over the bad things. And as soon as you get back to public school, this experience will be nothing more than a bad memory. Besides, I'm talking to you now, aren't I? I don't care if you look up skirts or not..."
Helga gave a small smirk upon realizing what she said. She gave a smirk, as did her shoulder deities as Helga's shoulder devil said, "As long as they're yours!"
"Oh yeah!" Helga's shoulder angel snickered a bit.
Arnold didn't catch the smirk as he looked over to Helga, before smiling at her. "Do you really think I have another shot?"
"Of course. Just downplay the skirt looking a little and you'll be fine." Helga smiled.
Arnold thought about it, before looking towards Helga. Helga realized that Arnold was looking at her lovingly before looking around, seeing if there were other people in the room. She blushed a bit as she looked away. "Just, uh... don't try it with me, okay? I don't want other people getting ideas..."
"Whatever you say, Helga." Arnold couldn't help but give a smile as he looked up at the clock. "All I know for sure is that I'm done with Lulu... speaking of which, did you hear anything in the news about her or her family?"
Helga paused, as she looked down. "Unfortunately, no. Lulu and Fifi managed to hide out successfully... that means they're probably still out there, trying again with other boys..."
"Well... the good thing about that is that now the police KNOW about Lulu and her mother's plans, right? So if they try again, they'll be caught, right?" Arnold smiled.
Helga paused as she looked over to Arnold, before giving a smile. "I think so... it'll be the day when we see Lulu behind bars."
It was then the door opened as Dr. Bliss peeked her head out. "Helga, I'm ready to see you."
Helga gave a nod before turning to Arnold. "Well, I guess this is me. I'll... see you whenever we get everything sorted out?"
"Y-yeah." Arnold smiled as he got up. "And Helga... it's been great talking with you."
"Yeah... thanks for the small talk, football head." Helga couldn't help but give a smile as she saw Arnold leaving the room... before holding her heart, giving a sigh. "Oh, Arnold... looks like you're on the path of recovery as I am... I guess true love DOES find a way..."
As Arnold was walking out of the office and outside the door, he couldn't help but give a small smile as he looked at the afternoon sun just getting ready to settle. Sure, it wasn't much, but he was glad to be home in his city. And it was good that he was managing to talk to his friends again after so long... he couldn't help but smile, though, as he somehow felt right in talking with Helga, sharing their problems and feeling good. Arnold's shoulder angel and devil appeared as they patted the boy on the neck.
As he waited outside, someone had noticed Arnold outside as she approached.
"Well, well, if it isn't Mr. Good In Bed!"
Arnold winced a bit as he turned around to see a familiar African American girl wearing blue walking over to him. Arnold bit his lip nervously as he looked down in shame. "Uh, hello... Chloe, was it?"
Chloe gave a small grin as she bent over. "So, you do remember me, huh?"
Arnold gave a nervous smile before noting that something was different about Chloe... like she had recently gotten a bit bigger around the tummy. Chloe looked over as she looked down, "I was meaning to talk to you, but I never could find you. I wanted to say that... I'm sorry about your girlfriend."
"Who? Oh... her." Arnold frowned as he crossed his arms. "Don't worry about it. She was nothing more than a bad memory. And... I'm sorry if we got you involved."
Chloe grinned as she rubbed her belly. "Don't worry about it. Things have certainly changed a lot for me. I gave up the smoking habit."
"Oh, well... that's good, I suppose." Arnold said as he turned to Chloe. "Is there any reason you came to me, other than apologizing?"
"Oh... well, yes, actually." Chloe paused as she crossed her leg, shuffling it a little. "I was wondering if you would do me a favor... I need a date for a special occasion, and I happened to think about you. I know that you're still recovering, but I was thinking... maybe we can recover together, just the two of us?"
Chloe fluttered her eyes at the boy as Arnold looked over at Chloe. His shoulder angel and shoulder devil looked at each other as if agreeing on the same thing, before looking up to Arnold, who was looking down at them.
Arnold looked over and shook her head. "No, I'm sorry. I can't. There's a lot I'm still uncovering for myself, and... the last thing I want right now is a date."
Chloe covered her mouth in surprise as she looked down at her round belly. "It doesn't have to be a date. Maybe we can just hang out for an ice cream or... play a board game, or... something."
Arnold shook his head. "I'm sorry, Chloe. You're probably nice, but I'm going through a lot of things right now."
Chloe looked down in disappointment, before sighing, "All right, I guess I understand. But... can we still be friends? I would very much like to talk to you, if you're not busy."
Arnold paused, looking over at his shoulder devil and angel, who looked doubtful.
"Well?" The shoulder devil asked, looking over at the shoulder angel.
"It does seem like quite the dilemma." The shoulder angel paused as he looked at the shoulder devil.
"She does seem like she wants to be genuine friends." The shoulder devil said.
