"I'm not talking to you," Jade said, "It was very disrespectful of you to give me a 'timeout'. You're my boyfriend. We're equals."
"Well you're right," Beck said, "and I'm sorry. I was just trying to protect Tori. I wasn't thinking about you at the time."
"Keep talking," Jade said.
"Look, I got you a gift."
"Fine," Jade said, "Give it to me."
"What's the magic word?"
Jade growled.
"WHY DO YOU TREAT ME LIKE I'M A CHILD," she demanded.
"Because you act like one," Beck said, "Now open your present"
He handed her a wrapped box. In it was a pair of scissors.
"Thanks Beck," Jade said, "I love it."
"It is the original scissors for Edward Scissorhands," Beck said, "Jade I love you but sometimes you are as sharp as those scissors."
"I get it," Jade said, "I'll try to be nicer to Vega"
"TORI," Beck said, "Not Vega. TORI"
"Fine. I'll try to be nicer to TORI"
"And I'll try to treat you like an equal instead of like a little kid," Beck said.
