Okay, it's been a long time coming, but we're finally at the final chapter of this story! Let's wrap it up once and for all! Anyway, enjoy!

A couple days later, outside the Turner household, Timmy had been kicked out the door quickly by his parents, his father saying, "Bye, Timmy! Have another fun-filled day at school!"

Timmy looked over in annoyance as he dusted himself off, knowing that his parents were always eager for some alone time, whenever they weren't hanging out with their own kid. Timmy gave a slight shrug as he knew they'd come to him for an activity he'd be interested in later on.

But that didn't matter. Today was going to be a very special day... the first day that Trixie Tang was going to step out of the limelight and hang out with the unpopular kids. He couldn't help but take a deep breath, honestly feeling nervous. A lot of things went through his mind, like 'what if Trixie went back on her word? Would his friends even understand that the Trixie that ditched her friends wouldn't be the same one that was condescending?'.

The more he thought about it, the more worried he felt as he looked over at the morning sun. Nearby, Cosmo and Wanda had poofed beside Timmy, in disguise as pigeons as Wanda raised an eyebrow. "Feeling nervous?"

"That's an understatement." Timmy lowered his eyelids. "I haven't heard from Trixie since our date at the beach ended so well yesterday."

"Yeah, she did quite enjoy it when you and her did an imitation of the slow run on the beach's waters that the lifeguards would usually do. Not to mention laugh at Francis for being attacked by that Sea Monster Response Team. Honestly, I don't know why the government would waste money on such a thing." Cosmo rolled his eyes.

"I know, right? Waste of money!" Timmy laughed a bit, before biting his tongue. "I just don't know. I haven't seen Trixie since I walked her back to her mansion, and nothing was said in the papers about the Tang's daughter's recent status."

Wanda raised an eyebrow in confusion. "What makes you think the papers would have something about Trixie, sport?"

"Well, just the fact from what she told me that she quit her fake friends and went with me... no doubt Veronica, Tad and Chad probably spread that to their families and by extension, Trixie's." Timmy bit his lip. "I can't help but wonder... will Trixie be forced to take back everything, even if she didn't want to, or will Trixie's parents actually listen to her? Am I responsible for probably making her one of the most miserable kids in the world?"

"Don't be ridiculous, sweetie!" Wanda flew over to Timmy, landed on his shoulder and used one of her wings to pat him on the head. "It was Trixie's decision to get away from her bad friends. It was her decision to ditch popularity when she had the chance. And most of all, it was her choice... to go to you. Because your loyal and brave, especially in the face of danger."

"Yeah, not like those other times where when things go out of control, he has US to rely on!" Cosmo grinned as he pulled out his wand and waved it around foolishly.

Wanda glared at her husband for that remark, but Timmy ignored it as he thought about Wanda's statement for a minute... before smiling. "You know what? Maybe you're right, Wanda. Maybe now that Trixie is no longer bound by popularity, maybe she'll finally open up to everyone and make new friends... she already did so with me."

Wanda gave a sporting grin towards her godchild. "That's the spirit, Timmy!"

Before Timmy Turner could say anything, all of a sudden, a large pigeon poofed in thin air, the face resembling Jorgen Von Strangle.

"Sorry, Turner, but I need both fairies. Surprise inspection!" Jorgen frowned as Cosmo and Wanda looked at each other, yelping.

"Uh, do you think you'll be okay on your own, sweetie?" Wanda asked nervously, eying the boy in the pink hat.

Timmy gave a nod. "Of course!" The boy was about to say one of his infamous catchphrases, but decided to refrain from saying that, in order not to tempt fate. He quickly noted the bus as Cosmo, Wanda and Jorgen poofed away. Timmy gave a nod before walking into the bus and settling down alone, with Chester, AJ, Elmer and Sanjay across from him as they were looking at him with raised eyebrows. It was right at that time Timmy noticed. "Uh, yes?"

"Timmy... we heard everything. Is it really true?" AJ asked. "About you and Trixie, I mean?"

Timmy looked surprised as he raised an eyebrow. "What exactly are you talking about?"

"Dude, we've read the papers! Apparently, Trixie quit being popular and prefers to hang with unpopular kids now!" Chester said as he held his head. "To think, one of the richest girls that were mean to us has a secret fondness for boy things?"

"It's not that terribly surprising." Sanjay said as he crossed his arms, rolling his eyes.

Timmy winced a bit as he said, "I don't really read the paper, so..."

"Dude, you haven't read it!" Chester's eyes widened. "The Tang family just got exposed as one of the most oddball rich families because they don't just love money as we thought, but many boy-like things! Genres of movies that we didn't think the family would enjoy! And even Trixie said that Timmy Turner was the person who turned her life around! Veronica, Tad and Chad were furious in those interviews."

"And if you don't believe us, look at what we have!" AJ said as he pulled out a newspaper and showed it to Timmy. Timmy grabbed the paper and looked it over, surprised to see Trixie and her parents looking pretty surprised at the paparazzi as fancy stuff like diamonds and jewelry were sent to the trash. Timmy raised an eyebrow as he decided to skim through the paper, seeing as how Trixie told her parents about quitting her old friends because they didn't make her comfortable, admitting to them the truth about what she really likes, and how her parents seem to be okay with their little girl wanting to live like a normal girl. It was the one sentence that caught his eye that really gave him a smile.

"The thing is, even though being popular is a good thing to keep going through school... I just felt that people only hang around me because of my looks, never because of my actual personality, which I couldn't even reveal to anyone else." Trixie sighed, agreeing to give us a quote for the paper. "At first, I thought the whole popularity thing would be great, but then it started escalating... security guards standing at every corner, nobody but friends that were assigned to me could talk to me, and I couldn't even step out of that metaphorical ring in order to enjoy stuff I really enjoyed. Sure, I will admit, I do still enjoy having my nails painted or dressing nicely now and again, but I want to do things that every nerd loves doing, like reading comic books, playing board games, and even just hang out with friends to do things together... and I mean things like ice cream, social talking, and even dancing, not mall trips for clothing or whatever. And... I have someone to thank for for opening my eyes to that lifestyle. Maybe I've been interested since he tried to be someone he wasn't, but he's been sweet and kind to everyone and everything... and even though he's not as popular as I was, he at least tried to get through, and he has a bigger heart... moreso than any of my friends could ever show."

Timmy's heart beat a little fast as he gave a small smile, knowing that Trixie was talking about him. He moved on to her final sentence.

"I just want to say this. Popularity can be quite a drug... but true friendship is the recovery." Trixie said this before shooing us away.

"Wow..." Timmy gave a small smile as he handed the paper back to AJ. "To think, she actually gave up all of being popular, just to have a new friend..."

Elmer grinned as he pointed to his boil. "My boil and I couldn't agree quite more..."

Timmy smiled as everyone felt the bus stop where Trixie would usually be waiting. Everyone turned their heads as a new Trixie Tang had walked into the bus. She still had the purple sweater and white skirt, but a red hat with the letter D on it was now adorning her head where her purple headband used to be, and her white go-go boots were now normal sneakers. Even when Trixie wasn't popular anymore, she was still quite the talk, judging by her new look. Even the bus driver didn't make the announcement of Trixie's appearance, mostly because Trixie had shook her head, implying him to not make a big deal out of it. She graciously hummed a little as she passed by a few boys who eyed her new appearance, still surprised at this new Trixie that walked casually.

About a couple moments later, Trixie looked over towards Timmy, giving a small smile as Timmy gave a nod. Trixie then settled down next to Timmy on the bus, and all talk about Trixie's new look had died and were instantly replaced with 'Trixie's a secret loser'. Timmy heard the comments as he turned to Trixie, wondering how she was going to take all this. But, much to his surprise, Trixie was looking down at Timmy with a smile as she said, "Don't worry. I don't care what they're saying anymore."

Timmy smiled as he gave a hug to Trixie, with Trixie happily returning the hug. After Timmy looked over his friends and was casually introducing Timmy to them, Trixie couldn't help but feel more... relaxed than normal. Sure, she was probably going to be ostracized for not being a regular popular kid ever again for the rest of her school life, not to mention the Tangs being deemed as one of the oddest rich families to let their daughter do as they please... but she didn't care. As long as Timmy Turner sat by her side, being her best friend... and possibly even boyfriend in the future... she was happy.

"Maybe that's what it means..." Trixie thought to herself, "...when people get close to happiness."

Little did she know was that Trixie's new life was about to take a turn... though for the better or for the worst, she wasn't quite sure... all she knew was that Timmy was going to be on her side, no matter what.

Orange Ratchet Story

"That's All, Folks!"

An Orange-Ratchet Fanfiction

And with that, I am happy to finally conclude this story and put the 'Complete' tag on it! How did you guys like it? Now for my final thoughts!

When I first started this fic, this story was a sequel to my first Fairly Oddparents fic that I wrote, entitled 'A Lonely Girl', which was the AU version of the episode 'Just the Two of Us!'. When I was starting this fic, I was originally going to have it a little longer than the two episodes featured in this fic (namely, Class Clown and Beach Bummed). However, things were happening right around this time and I never found time to add new chapters to the story... it wasn't until sometime later when I discovered "A Lonely Girl", the fic I wrote a long time ago, got its mention not only on the Fairly Oddparents TV Tropes Fanfic Recs page, but also got its own page, much to my surprise! That inspired me to continue the story, but I wanted to wait until the right moments for it...

So, to revive this was pretty exciting for me... but I knew I had to make this one a little shorter than it should be. What started as a long fic was something that I felt was more suited for Trixie's character evolution from her character I started on "A Lonely Girl", and decided to focus on HER as a result. Even though I did only two episodes based on Timmy and Trixie's relationship, and I wish I did more, I figured those two episodes would be more than enough to get Trixie's hidden kind side and love for geeky things to shine... and to revive this after TVTropes declared this fic dead and now that I got to complete it... it's pretty cool in and of itself! Will I do another sequel to this someday? Possible, but not likely. I've already got a lot of other fics to complete as it is right now, but maybe I'll return to this universe someday. And hey, maybe this fic, like "A Lonely Girl" will also get its own TVTropes page... hmmm... who knows, though?

Anyway, thank you all for reading, and have a very wonderful day!
