"Indoraptor?" Lockwood demanded.
"Sure," said Wu. "It means 'Indian thief'. You know, rich man, poor man, beggar-man, chief…"
"Doctor," said Lockwood, "this thing is derived from Mongolian and North American dinosaur stock. It will spend its whole life just off the coast of Central America. Why on Earth would you call it an Indian anything?"
Wu shrugged. "Bogus exotica adds cachet," he said. "Russian tea cakes aren't Russian, either, and who complains about that?"
As Lockwood started to reply, a bell rang overhead, and Wu rose abruptly. "Hold that thought," he said. "I need to go help a Fijiceratops hatch."
