Alit's LP: 2050 - 0
My real memories… Alit thought, before crashing to the ground reverting to his human form.
"Alit!" Yuma and Kotori gasped, rushing to him.
They both kneeled as Kotori helped Alito sit up. "Alit are you alright?" Yuma questioned worried.
"... Yuma, Astral." Alit spoke, not looking up. "My memories are…"
"What you saw were your true memories but those memories were altered by Don Thousand to sow the seeds of hate within you to be reborn as a Barian." Astral explained to him.
"All this time… I was a puppet to a bunch of lies!" Alit yelled angrily.
"Alit…" Kotori frowned sadly.
"And not only that because of it I had done such unforgivable acts to you and your friends." Alit frowned.
"No you were only being used." Astral countered. "When Don Thousand's powers were sealed in the seven ruins he let loose the last of his strength, already planning his revival."
"And I fell into his trap." Alit concluded, looking up at Kotori and Yuma. "I'm so sorry Yuma, Kotori."
"Please don't apologize Alit." Kotori frowned sadly.
"Yeah instead lend us your strength to help us defeat Don Thousand." Yuma nodded, putting out his hand to Alit. "All of us together we can stop him and end this war."
"But I'm still one of the Barian Emperors." Alit countered.
"There's nothing stopping any of us to be able to reach an understanding." Yuma replied, before smiling. "After all we managed to, right?"
Alit grew wide eyed looking to Yuma and Astral then to Kotori who smiled and nodded Alit was silent for a moment before he smiled and nodded. "I guess you're right." He replied, standing up. "Alright I'll join with you guys."
"Alit." Yuma grinned.
"But the other Emperors." Alit began worried.
"Don't worry, I'm sure the others will get through to them too just like we did." Yuma assured with a grin.
"My turn draw!" Lizzie yelled, drawing her card from her Deck. "I activate the Spell Mythic Exchange! By sending a Mythical Earth monster from my hand to the Graveyard, I can draw 2 cards! I send Mythical Earth Beast of the South, Pájaro to the Graveyard and draw 2 cards!" She drew her cards, looking at them before glancing to Ponta who smiled and nodded as she nodded back. "I Special Summon Mythical Earth Beast of the West, Tigre from my hand! When I have no cards on my field, I can Special Summon him from my hand!" The large earth tiger leaped onto the field letting out a ferocious roar. (Mythical Earth Beast of the West, Tigre, Attribute: EARTH, Level: 6, Type: Beast/Effect, ATK/DEF: 2100/1400. "Then Tigre's additional effect! By releasing Tigre, I can Special Summon 2 Level 4 or lower Mythical Earth monsters from my Deck." Lizzie went on. "I Special Summon 2 Mythical Earth Ferrets!" Tigre disappeared in leaves to be replaced by two small green and white ferrets that jumped out from the leaves. (Mythical Earth Ferret x2, Attribute: EARTH, Level: 2, Type: Beast/Effect, ATK/DEF: 200/100. Lizzie's hand: 5 cards. Lizzie's LP: 4000. Girag's hand: 5 cards. Girag's LP: 4000..)
"Now I overlay with my 2 Level 2 Ferrets! With these 2 monsters I build the Overlay Network!" Lizzie yelled, as her two ferrets became orange mist going in the Overlay Network. "Xyz Summon! Come now Number 64! The sage that slays the chaos within the chaotic world and changes it! Veteran Tanuki Sandayu!" The racoon-like Number appeared onto the field holding its spear. (Number 64: Veteran Tanuki Sandayu, Attribute: EARTH, Rank: 2, Type: Beast/Effect/Xyz, ATK/DEF: 1000/1000. Lizzie's hand: 5 cards. Lizzie's LP: 4000. Girag's hand: 5 cards. Girag's LP: 4000..)
"That Number…!" Girag growled.
"I activate Sandayu's effect! By using 1 Overlay Unit, I can Special Summon a Kagemusha Raccoon Token and its Atk becomes equal to the monster with the highest Atk." Lizzie spoke, as the golden token appeared. "And so long as this Token is on the field you can't target, Sandayu for an attack. I place 2 cards face-down and end my turn." (Lizzie's hand: 3 cards. Lizzie's LP: 4000. Girag's hand: 5 cards. Girag's LP: 4000..)
"Good work Miss Elizabeth. Now we're ready." Ponta smiled. "Now we're ready for Kiraku!"
"Yeah." Lizzie nodded.
With the Token, even if Girag summons his Over-Hundred Number, the Token's Atk will become the same as it and Sandayu's effect will have Girag attack the Token. Shane thought with a frown. But will it be enough?
"Is that the best you can do?" Girag inquired, his arms crossed.
"What?" Lizzie frowned.
"You were a fool to Summon Number 64 on your very first turn." Girag pointed out as he put his right hand on his Deck. "Draw!" (Lizzie's hand: 3 cards. Lizzie's LP: 4000. Girag's hand: 6 cards. Girag's LP: 4000..) Girag looked at his hand, then at Lizzie's field. "I Normal Summon Fire Hand!" In a burst of red fire the hand like monster appeared attaching itself onto Girag's shoulder who grunted in pain. (Fire Hand, Attribute: FIRE, Level: 4, Type: Pyro/Effect, ATK/DEF: 1600/1000. Lizzie's hand: 3 cards. Lizzie's LP: 4000. Girag's hand: 5 cards. Girag's LP: 4000)
"And when I have a Pyro monster on my field I can Special Summon Prominence Hand!" Girag yelled, as the other hand monster appeared out of blue flames and attached onto Girag's other shoulder. (Prominence Hand, Attribute: FIRE, Level: 4, Type: Pyro/Effect, ATK/DEF: 600/2000. Lizzie's hand: 3 cards. Lizzie's LP: 4000. Girag's hand: 4 cards. Girag's LP: 4000.)
"2 level 4 monsters…" Elizabeth frowned. "Here it comes."
"I Overlay my level 4 Fire Hand and Prominence Hand!" Girag yelled, as the two monsters became red mist going to the Overlay Network. "With these 2 monsters I build the Overlay Network! Xyz Summon! Smother this entire world Number 106! Huge Rock Palm-Giant Hand!"
Elizabeth gasped by the blowing flames as the Over Hundred Number appeared onto the field it's many eyes trained on her. (Number 106: Huge Rock Palm-Giant Hand, Attribute: EARTH, Rank: 4, Type: Rock/Xyz/Effect, ATK/DEF: 2000/2000. Lizzie's hand: 3 cards. Lizzie's LP: 4000. Girag's hand: 4 cards. Girag's LP: 4000)
"So that's his Over-Hundred Number." Shane frowned.
"Giant Hand's effect! By using one Overlay Unit the effects of 1 effect monster on your field is negated!" Girag yelled. "Fatally Paralyzing Pressure Point Strike!"
"What?!" Elizabeth gasped.
"I negate the effects of Veteran Tanuki Sandayu! And so long as Giant Hand is on the field Sandayu's effects stay negated and if it attacks it's destroyed and you take damage equal to its ATK points." Girag added snidely.
"In other words if Elizabeth tries to attack Giant Hand with Sandayu then it'll be automatically destroyed and she'll take damage." Shane frowned.
"And now your Token's ATK is 0. Go Giant Hand attack the Kagemusha Raccoon Token!" Girag yelled.
Giant Hand rose forming a fist before punching the token destroying it in an explosion Elizabeth cried out as she was sent flying by the shockwave and crashed to a tree on her back with a cry. "Lizzie!" Shane yelled.
Elizabeth winced as she slowly sat up Ponta floating to her side worried. "Lady Elizabeth are you alright?!" Ponta cried out worried.
"Y-yeah I'm fine Ponta." She nodded, standing with a wince. So this is what it's like to battle an Emperor…
"Hmph you actually managed to survive them. Impressive for a human." Girag sneered. "I end my turn."
"My turn. Draw!" Lizzie yelled. (Lizzie's hand: 4 cards. Lizzie's LP: 4000. Girag's hand: 4 cards. Girag's LP: 2000.)
She looked at her hand for a moment. Guess I got no choice. She thought. "I activate my facedown card Xyz Gaia! By sending an EARTH attribute Xyz monster from my field to the GY I can draw 2 cards! I send Sandayu to the GY!" Lizzie yelled, as the tanuki Number became leaves as she drew her cards. ((Lizzie's hand: 6 cards. Lizzie's LP: 4000. Girag's hand: 4 cards. Girag's LP: 2000.)
"Now with this Sandayu isn't affected by Giant Hand's effect." Shane remarked.
"I activate the Spell card Nature Pilgrimage! By sending 2 EARTH attribute monsters from my hand to the GY I can Special Summon 1 Xyz EARTH attribute monster from my GY!" Lizzie continued. "I send Mythical Earth Beast of the North, Tortuga and Mythical Earth Beast of the East, Dragón and now come once more Number 64: Veteran Tanuki Sandayu!" The racoon-like Number appeared once again onto the field holding its spear in a tornado of leaves. (Number 64: Veteran Tanuki Sandayu, Attribute: EARTH, Rank: 2, Type: Beast/Effect/Xyz, ATK/DEF: 1000/1000. Lizzie's hand: 3 cards. Lizzie's LP: 2000. Girag's hand: 4 cards. Girag's LP: 4000.)
"Ha! No matter how many times you bring that Number back it's going to end the same cause I can activate Giant Hand's effect on your turn as well!" Girag laughed. "Giant Hand's effect! Go, Fatally Paralyzing Pressure Point Strike!"
"This is bad!" Shane gasped.
"I thought so." Elizabeth smiled. "I activate my trap Cursed Poison of the Cobra!"
"What?!" Girag yelled.
"By sending a Reptilianne monster from my hand to the GY I can negate the effects of one monster on your field and that monster loses all it's ATK." Elizabeth explained. "I send Reptilianne Poison Cobra from my hand to the GY!"
Cobra's spirit rose with a hiss before hitting Giant Hand contaminating it with poison causing it to slowly turn purple and groan in pain. Number 106: Huge Rock Palm-Giant Hand, ATK: 2000-0. Lizzie's hand: 2 cards. Lizzie's LP: 2000. Girag's hand: 4 cards. Girag's LP: 4000.)
"Impossible! Giant Hand!" Girag gasped shocked.
"I knew with an effect like that it could even activate on my turn that's why I held off using this trap on your turn." Elizabeth smiled.
"Why you!" Girag growled angrily.
"Outstanding Lady Elizabeth! Now for the attack!" Ponta cheered.
"Veteran Tanuki Sandayu attack Giant Hand!" Elizabeth yelled.
Sandayu rushed forward twirling its spear before raising and striking Giant Hand resulting in an explosion sending Girag flying. "Aaaaah!" He yelled.
"Please remember Girag-san!" Elizabeth yelled.
Fire was burning down the building Girag/Kiraku was in before he saw the doors slid open to see a cloaked figure holding a scythe smirking wickedly at him with his soldiers with him. "I shall rewrite your destiny." He told him.
"Wh-What?" Girag questioned shocked.
"The thought of betrayal by your friends shall be the thorn of your miserable death and beset with anger and sadness, you will go to Barian World..." The man smirked, as Girag backed away resulting in dropping Veteran Tanuki Sandayu. "To become the power of my resurrection!"
The figure then threw Giant Hand which implanted into Girag's chest causing him to cry out in pain and agony as the fire burned and surrounded him.

"Did… Did it work?" Elizabeth wondered worried.
Girag grunted before opening his eyes. "I… Those memories…" He began, sitting up before he gasped.
"Girag-san?" Elizabeth spoke.
"This feeling…! Oh no! Don't tell me!" Girag gasped.
"Huh? What's going on?" Elizabeth began.
"No!" Shane suddenly yelled. "She couldn't have…! Elizabeth we have to go now!"
"Eh!? What do you mean!?" Elizabeth gasped shocked.
"No time we have to go!" Shane scowled.
"I'll go with you." Girag called, walking to them. "This is more important than the duel right now."
"Yeah." Shane nodded.
"What's going on you two?!" Elizabeth demanded.
Darka gasped abruptly standing surprising Astrana and Kaito. "Darka?" Kaito questioned.
"No… Oh Gods no…!" Darka paled, her amber eyes filled with tears. "What have I done?!"
"Darka?! What's wrong?" Astrana voiced worried.
Darka only ran out of the tower running as fast as she could. Manami!
Alito suddenly gasped his face pale causing Yuma, Astral, and Kotori to turn and face him. "Alito? Are you ok?" Kotori asked.
"Oi… Do you know where Nasch and Merag are dueling?" Alito choked out.
"Eh? You mean Shark and his sister? They're at the main square dueling Manami." Yuma began.
"We have to go there. Now." Alito frowned.
"Huh? But why?" Kotori began to question.
"Please! We have to go!" Alito begged.
"Yuma." Astral spoke.
"Yeah alright let's go!" Yuma nodded.
They all quickly ran heading to the square.
Sirius and Durbe suddenly stopped both their faces pale as sheets.
"Durbe-nii this feeling…!" Sirius began in a panicked tone.
"It can't be… Let's hurry!" Durbe yelled. Sirius nodded quickly running as fast as they could.
Vector laughed darkly as Shark dropped to his knees clutching onto Manami who was panting in pain by the injuries on her chest.
"Manami!" Rio shrieked in horror, running to the two.
"Ahahaha!" Vector laughed maliciously. "As expected of that idiot!"
"Vector! You!" Shark roared.
"Sh-Shark." Manami choked weakly, clutching Shark's arm tightly. "Listen to me… Run you and R-Rio have to run…!"
"Are you crazy?! We're not abandoning you!" Shark yelled.
"Listen to your precious wife Nasch!" Vector sneered as he raised his right hand filled with energy. "Of course, it doesn't really matter if you run or not because I still plan to kill you and your sister!"
"VECTOR!" Flames shot downward to their shock before they cleared in a gust of wind to show Hotaru and Millennium Blazing Phoenix which let a fierce screech Hotaru's eyes blazing in rage.
"Hotaru…!" Manami winced, coughing blood.
"Vector…!" Hotaru growled.
"Oh hey Firefly!" Vector grinned. "So sorry that I can't stay long! I have a plan to finish!" He opens up an overlay network portal to leave, however…
"MANAMI!"
"Huh?" Vector turned to see IV rushing to the scene. "Oh look, another weak friend of hers. I'll deal with you later." He turns around to head through the portal, but IV lunges at him; thus they both through the portal.
"Thomas!" Manami gasped, before choking in pain.
"Shit…!" Hotaru hissed.
"IV…." Nasch whispered. He closed his eyes, then reopened them with a chuckle. "So he's just as mad as we are for what Vector has done here."
"Manami." Hotaru quickly ran to Manami before she kneeled seeing the injury.
"Firefly… Sorry I-I wasn't thinking." Manami smiled weakly.
"You." Hotaru frowned sadly.
"Guys!" They all looked up to see everyone rushing and they all gasped in horror upon seeing Manami's state.
"Manami!" Darka cried, quickly going to her side.
"Everyone… I'm sorry, this is where my story ends…" Manami coughed.
"Vector…! He did this, didn't he…!" Durbe choked, walking to them.
"Durbe…" Manami looked up smiling weakly. "I'm truly grateful to you for staying with Shark and Rio… M-Make sure you have their backs, ok?"
"I will." Durbe vowed.
"And to answer your question Durbe, Vector did do this." Merag remarked. "Before any of us could follow him through his portal, IV showed up and went after Vector."
"Y-You have to go after them…" Manami panted weakly, looking up. "Alito, Girag y-you're both free from D-Don Thousand's control… Thank goodness…"
"Thanks to the others but you…" Alito frowned tearfully. Manami weakly smiled shaking her head before facing Yuma.
"S-Sorry Yuma looks like I need you to d-do me that favor after all." She coughed.
"Manami…" Yuma cried. Manami looked up at Darka and Hotaru. "You two were the best s-sisters a girl could ask for th-thank you." She spoke. Darka and Hotaru cried by her words as Manami faced Rio.
"Rio… Watch yourself a-along with our boys ok? I w-won't be able to help you now." Manami smiled sadly.
"M-Manami!" Rio cried with tears. Manami panted looking up at Shark smiling softly as she raised a shaking hand to cup his cheek.
"I'm so sorry… L-Looks like I can't stay b-by your side." She apologized, her breathing ragged.
"Don't apologize Mana." Shark shook his head clutching her hand.
"Mana… I loved that nickname you gave me…" Manami smiled weakly. "It showed how much you care… I l-love you… Never forget that ok…?"
"I won't because I love you as well." Shark choked. "Please Manami don't leave me!"
"Y-You'll be fine. B-Because you're not alone now." Manami smiled tearfully. "Not just the Emperors. Y-Yuma, Darka, e-everyone is here… You'll never be alone my love…"
"Manami!" Shark cried. Manami smiled softly before her body began to glow blue much to their shock as she slowly began to disappear.
It'll be alright in the end… Manami thought, closing her eyes. Thomas… Sorry for this. Everyone… Farewell. They all watched as Manami disappeared leaving only her blue soul which Shark held in his hands before he absorbed it clutching his hands tightly.
"Shark…" Yuma spoke sadly with tears.
"...Consider this a truce." Shark spoke softly as he turned around. "All of us here were influenced by Mana in one way or another."
"Heh she's always was an influence." Hotaru laughed tearfully. "I should know she's influenced me for 50 damn years…!" Hotaru choked a sob as Darka frowned sadly at her older sister before looking to Yuma.
"Yuma I'm sure that favor Manami mentioned… You should tell Shark. He needs to know the truth." She told him. Yuma grew wide eyed before he nodded.
"Yeah you're right it was something she needed me to do." He nodded sadly.
"And that is?" Shark inquired. Yuma looked unsure while Hotaru stood up.
"Tell me something Ryoga Kamishiro the Kamishiros have the same emblem as your past self did 700 years ago. Didn't you ever wonder how it was possible?" She questioned wearily.
"Well yeah." Shark remarked. "But I think I have a general idea on how that could be possible." He paused, then he added. "You can tell me later."
"Shark I have to. Manami made me swear to tell you this." Yuma frowned, reaching in his pocket and to Shark's shock Yuma got out Manami's diamond pendant. "It was her wish."
"That pendant…" Rio frowned.
"Manami gave this to me as a sign to you so you'll know what I'm about to tell you is the truth." Yuma frowned sadly. "She asked me to do this if… If something happened before she could tell you."
"You don't need to say anything." Shark remarked. "Those Kamishiros that me and Merag's souls inhabited are my descendants."
"So you know… 700 years ago Manami… Manami was pregnant with your kids…" Yuma spoke softly.
"What?!" The others gaped, shocked.
"Yeah pregnant with twins." Hotaru spat darkly. "That was how the Kamishiro bloodline has his own."
"Hotaru you knew?" Astral questioned.
"When I first saw her that day." Hotaru frowned. "I knew yet I knew she didn't tell Shark." Hotaru glanced at Shark her gray eyes dark. "She couldn't tell her own husband who was too absorbed into killing the one who killed his sister. She hid it hoping to tell him at the end of the war."
"But Shark didn't…" Yuma frowned, shaking his head. "And Manami ended up raising the kids and rebuilding the kingdom herself."
"All by herself…" Kotori frowned sadly. Shark glared at Hotaru by her words.
"Shut up." He snapped. "We all have made mistakes. Don't hold that over my head. Besides, we have bigger things to worry about than some mistakes made in the past."
"Tch like the ones you made up to this point?" Hotaru snapped. "I always had a grudge on you 700 years ago for leaving Manami alone with the twins." Shark gnashed his teeth, then turned on his heel and opened up a portal to Barian World.
"I don't have time for your bullshit right now Hotaru." Shark snarled. "Now if you'd rather fight me, then save it till after this war is over. I'm going to support IV in his battle against Vector. Now you lot can come with me, or fight amongst yourselves." He then strides through the portal and it closes behind him.
"Honestly." Hotaru growled.
"Hotaru." Rio spoke, making her face the other. "Manami had said it before but… Was she I mean…" Hotaru looked at Rio for a moment before she answered.
"She only tried dying once. Losing you 3 took a toll on her but thankfully with the twins and the kingdom she managed to mourn and move on properly. But let me tell you your brother is a piece of work."
"I know." Rio replied. "But you holding everything over his head is just asking for a fight between you 2. So please, I'd suggest you don't do that." She pauses then adds. "Answer me this Hotaru: What would have been a better decision for my brother? Stop fighting and take care of his family? Or find a way to end the war as quickly as possible?" She then crossed her arms. "You may think it's a no-brainer, but is it really?"
"Hmph why must he be binded by 2 roads?" Hotaru frowned. "If neither path is the right one then one must forge a third with their own 2 hands. And he has to realize that his choice doesn't only affect himself but can result and affect many others. To only have 2 choices is like seeing the world in black and white and not noticing the gray. That was how you Emperors didn't realize about Don Thousand. You must observe your surroundings and have the will to be able to build a choice you know can reach the future that can truly be right not just for one side or the other but for all. That is what I had to do many years ago." Hotaru looked at her hand. "I wasn't able to stop nor save Shingetsu-sama 700 years ago and that was my sin. Which is why I have to free him from that evil god once and for all." She clenched her fist tightly. "Manami and I came to this life in order to save the ones we wished to save. Manami managed to do it. Now it is my turn."
"Heh. Spoken like a true queen Hotaru." Darka smiled wearily.
"Hmph I'm no queen I only ruled for a short period." Hotaru smirked, before she frowned. "Now come on, this war is gonna end here."
"Why do you think IV did what he did?" Rio asked before she too opened up a portal to Barian World. "We all shouldn't go. Doing so would make our dueling forces thin. Some of us should stay here just in case."
"The Emperors should stay then Don Thousand plans to absorb their souls for his revival they're his targets." Astrana frowned.
"There's no way we can stay here!" Alito yelled. "Not after what Vector just did!"
"Plus, since Earth and Barian World are merging because of Don Thousand, it doesn't matter if we stay here or not." Durbe added.
"Even so it would be too dangerous for you all." Kaito frowned.
"They're going rather we like it or not." Darka frowned, looking at her palm before speaking. "Bakura, Nyx, I need you two here please."
"Of course Darkalicia." Bakura bowed.
"Not like we have a choice." Nyx shrugged with a smirk. "Will you manage?"
"I'll be fine." Darka only said, standing. "It is my responsibility." Hotaru felt a hand on her shoulder looking up to V.
"You're staying." She stated, knowing him.
"You wish." V remarked. "My brother went after Vector. I want to be there when IV gives Vector a thrashing."
"Chris if push comes to shove if something happens over there…" Hotaru frowned. "You and the others are our strongest duelists to protect the people here. And right now IV is blind with fury for what happened to Manami. I have to stop him and duel Vector."
"You think IV will stop just because you tell him to?" V laughed. "Hell no."
"I'll stop him if I have to." Hotaru frowned. "I was Vector's Guardian 700 years ago… Defeating him is my job. I won't stop Shark, but I don't want… I can't have you lose your brother because of my errors."
"IV will be fine, despite his fury." V remarked. Hotaru still frowned, making V smile gently and laid his forehead on hers. "You're not at fault for this dear. Besides I should be somewhat grateful for this fate. Since it let us meet."
Hotaru weakly chuckled.
"You have a horrible taste in women." She smiled tiredly.
"Maybe." V admitted. "But that doesn't change my mind."
"Of all the people I fell in love with." Hotaru sighed yet smile softly. "Thank you."
"You're welcome." V smiled. Darka glanced at the 2 and at Astrana speaking with III with a tired smile before glancing to see Misael.
"Misael. You're coming as well." She remarked. Misael glanced at Darka, then turned away from her.
"Says who? You?" Misael asked sharply. "I do as I please."
"No, I'm stating it. I know you. You'll go despite any of us telling you not to or not." Darka replied knowingly.
"Humph." Misael grunted. "So are you going or not? Merag can't hold that portal up forever." Darka smiled lightly and nodded.
