654A/N: (Takes a breath) I'm going to be honest, I know it's been nearly a year but I still don't know how I feel about this story... There are times where I get the urge to write a chapter where everyone suddenly dies and end it there. There's going to be a lingering fear that the Fairy Tail fandom hates the story... and that fear isn't going away any time soon. I know it's irrational but it's there... it really is there... Anyways enjoy the chapter hopefully...
Chapter 89: Devil Fight
The takeover siblings had made to the location where the next piece was said to be. It was a series of lakes with hole to drain them. Thankfully Lisanna went in in her mermaid form and that did it.
After draining the lakes they found an orange thing, that was shiny and a bit gem like.
"We found it!" said Mirajane.
"Well, well, well…" said a voice.
They turned to see it was Mary.
"Should have known they would send someone." Said Elfman.
The two other nodded.
"I'm going to end your brother sister rivalry." Said Mary.
"You're wrong." Said Mirajane, "You see a rivalry between brothers and sisters is called a sibling rivalry!"
"Oh wow! I didn't know that!" said Mary, "I learned something new today!"
However she then realized that thy were enemies.
"You won't be able to trick me!" said Mary.
"What?" asked Mirajane.
"We're going to fight." Said Mary.
"We kind of figured that." Said Lisanna.
Mary glared at her.
The three siblings were ready, though they knew it wasn't going to be an easy fight.
Meanwhile in Gravity Falls the next generation were playing in the forest.
"Come on!" cheered Simone.
"Let's go!" cheered Asuka.
"Hey! Should we be exploring like this?" asked Millie.
It's fine!" said Stany.
Patti clung onto Millie.
"Come on! I think there's a part of the forest I don't think we've ever been in!" said Simone.
Back in Earthland. The fight had begun.
OF course they all knew it wasn't going to be an easy fight.
Mary had taken control of Elfman who was attacking his sisters.
"I'm sorry!" yelled Elfman.
"It's fine!" yelled Mirajane.
"Like what are you going to do?" asked Mary.
Mirajane activated Satan Soul.
She was ready for a fight.
However Mary had a very different plan for this fight.
She let go of control from Elfman.
He did land hard because of it.
"You know there are taboos when it comes to this magic." Said Mary.
"What is this about?" asked Mirajane.
"There are rules to my magic! Things I'm not allowed to do!" said Mary, "Namely the second suit!"
Suddenly the hand wand change from pointing one finger to pointing two.
She pointed at Mirajane and she began to scream.
Lisanna and Elfman watched in horror as somehow Satan Soul was being ripped out of her.
"Yes!" cheered Mary.
Mirajane looked how Satan Soul stood before her.
"No…" whispered Mirajane.
However in her mind she knew… the boxes were all checked.
She had to do it.
Back in Gravity Falls the Next Generation were still playing in the forest.
"I don't think we've ever bene in this part." Said Millie.
"That's what makes it so much fun!" cheered Simone.
"Oh come on!" said Millie.
"Relax Millie!" said Stany.
"But something we don't know could be lurking!" said Millie.
"You could be worried for nothing." Said Asuka.
"Oh come on!" yelled Millie.
What they didn't notice that nearby was a stature… half buried in the ground.
Back in Earthland…
Mirajane got up shaking a little and glaring at Satan Soul which was out of her body still.
She had a very determined looked on her face which her siblings recognized.
"You know… there's something you should know." Said Mirajane, "That's not my only Satan Soul…"
"What?" asked Mary staring at Mirajane.
"There was once something that attacked Gravity Falls. It's Entergy was close enough to a demon that I could use my magic on it." Said Mirajane.
"Seriously?" asked Mary.
"It's true, however his reign of chaos hurt so many people that I stopped using it." Said Mirajane.
Magic began to swirl around her.
"I made a vow to myself to only use if two conditions were met." Said Mirajane, "The first is that I'm in not in Gravity Falls."
"And the other?" asked Mary.
"That I must be pushed to my limits… that I would have no other choice to call upon this power." Said Mirajane.
Mary watched as Mirajane unleashed the form of Satan Soul.
She wasn't sure what to think of the gothic Lolita like form, but both Mirajane's siblings both flinched to see their sister to use that form after so many years.
Satan Soul: Cipher.
"You have no idea what you're facing." Said Mirajane.
Back in Gravity Falls with the next generation, they saw a bright flash of light appear nearby.
"What's that?" asked Simone.
I don't know." Said Millie.
They all went to see what it was.
The light started to clear.
They saw a boy around their age lying unconscious on the ground.
"Oh no!" cried Millie.
"Where did he come from?" asked Stany.
"It's doesn't matter! We have to get him help!" said Simone.
"How are we supposed to carry him?" asked Millie.
"He really needs help though!" said Stany.
"That why we need to carry him!" said Simone.
"Let me help!" Asuka.
"We all have to carry him." Said Simone.
They preceded to carry the young boy.
Back in Earthland, Mary stared at Mirajane in shock.
"What the hell!" yelled Mary, "You have another form! That's totes cheating."
"I haven't used this form in 7 years. So it's not." Said Mirajane.
Mirajane decided to start off easy by throwing fireballs at her.
However the controlled Satan Soul began to fight her.
Mirajane pointed at the Satan Soul form and it froze.
"What!" yelled Mary.
"The demon I stole power from was very powerful." Said Mirajane.
"What!" yelled Mary.
She forced the Satan Soul back with just a wave of her hand.
"What!" yelled Mary.
"Oh are you just going to repeat yourself." Said Mirajane.
Mary gritted her teeth.
Back on earth.
It was pretty normal I the guild hall when suddenly the next generation showed up.
"Is Marvelous here!" yelled Simone.
"Don't yell Simone." Said Millie.
Then they all saw the boy they awkwardly carried.
"What happened to him?" asked Marvelous.
"He just appeared in a bright flash of light!" said Stany.
Everyone looked at each other… that did sound like a normal thing in Gravity Falls.
But still it was concerning that there was an unconscious child.
Even if the kid appeared in a bright flash of light.
Still Marvelous started to examine him.
"He seems fine…" she explained, "We won't know what's wrong until he wakes up."
"You did a good job finding him." Said Lucy.
The four kids nodded. Hoping that the boy they found was all right.
"We should call Ford." Said Levy.
"You're right." Said Marvelous.
The kids all watched the adults figure everything out. And they knew there was nothing they could do at the moment.
Back in Earthland
The controlled Satan Soul managed to get up.
And tried to attack Mirajane.
However Mirajane suddenly turned her arms into tentacles and slammed away the controlled spell.
"What the!" yelled Mary.
She turned her arms back to normal and flew to the controlled Satan Soul and tackled it.
Satan Soul tried to recover.
However Mirajane lifted up a nearby rock and tossed it at the spell.
"Did you just throw a rock at it?" asked Mary with a sweat drop .
"It was a big rock." Said Mirajane with a shrug.
However the controlled Satan Soul managed to get the rock off of it.
Mirajane then did a finger gun at the Satan Soul.
And suddenly a cow crushed Satan soul.
"Okay! What kind of demon did you steal this power from!" yelled Mary in confusion.
"Don't ask…" said Mirajane, "You don't want to know…"
"Well it doesn't matter I guess." Said Mary.
"What do you mean?" asked Mirajane.
That was when both Mary and the controlled Satan Soul began to glow.
"This is the final taboo there is no going back from here!" said Mary.
It was clear she was going to merge with the spell using her magic.
"The Third Suit!" she called out.
Lisanna and Elfman watched in horror.
Mirajane watched s this happened.
"I guess I have to get serious." Said Mirajane.
Back at the Guild Hall, the boy was still unconscious.
Durring this time Ford had arrived and using his magic to determine things about him.
"There wasn't anything that I can detect in the past few hours in the forest." Said Ford.
"We won't know anything until he wakes up." Said Dipper.
That was when the boy suddenly woke up.
"What…" said the boy, "Where am I? Who are you!"
"Calm down it's fine." Said Marvelous.
The boy started to shake. He looked at them and he wanted to hide and was shaking.
Marvelous slowly walked over to him and was as calm as possible.
"What you're name." said Marvelous.
"I…" said the boy who began to still shook. "I don't know… I don't remember anything… why can't I remember anything!"
"It's going to be fine." Said Marvelous.
She genteelly put her hands on his head.
Her hands glowed with her healing magic. When she removed her hands. The boy looked at her confused.
"Do you remember now?" asked Marvelous.
"No… I still don't remember anything." cried the boy, "Why can't I remember anything!"
Ford approached the boy who flinched.
"I'm going to do some scans on you… is that all right?" asked Ford.
The boy looked scared of him… but nodded.
"Hey! It's all right!" said Millie going to over to him, "Grunkle Ford knows what he's doing and he'll help you!"
"Grunkle Ford?" asked the boy confused.
"Grunkle means Great Uncle! And he's mine and my sister's! "said Simone.
"Simone, he's scared so don't scare him!" said Millie.
"I wasn't trying to!" said Simone.
The boy was confused.
"Sorry… it's just that you don't know where you are and you seem scared!" said Millie.
"Oh… I guess…" said the boy who was confused.
"It's okay! It will be fine!" said Millie.
"Okay…" said the boy.
Ford began to do scans on him.
He didn't know why but he had a strange feeling about the boy, it wasn't good or bad… just strange.
Back with Mirajane's fight she watched as Mary merged with the spell.
Satan Soul Mary then used shot a spell of Darkness towards Mirajane.
However Mirajane just created a fiery shield to block it.
"This spell is amazing." Said Satan Soul Mary who began to laugh.
"Well… I know all the spells and it's not going to work on me,,," said Mirajane.
"You're blushing!" mocked Satan Soul Mary.
Mirajane then caused a large pie to fall on Satan Soul Mary.
"Not really… as I said, the reason why I don't use this Satan Soul is because of very personal reasons." Said Mirajane, "Plus it's actually illegal to mention the reign of terror that the demon caused in Gravity Falls."
"You think I'd actually buy that." Said Satan Soul Mary.
"Just mention Bill Cipher in the middle of Gravity Falls." Said Mirajane, "You'll love what happened."
Satan Soul Mary looked at the siblings.
Lisanna just shrugged, while Elfman decided to be honest.
"You get tazed." Said Elfman.
"What…" said Satan Soul Mary.
"It's Gravity Falls." Said Mirajane, "You wouldn't understand unless you lived there or spent a lot of time there."
"I see…" mumbled Satan Soul Mary.
The two flew into the air. Knowing the other would up their game in the fight.
Back in Gravity Falls, Ford found that the scans seemed to be inconclusive.
"He seems to be just a normal little boy with a magical container." Said Ford.
"Magical Container?" asked the boy.
"That means when you get older you can use magic." Said Stany.
"Really! Cool!" said the little boy.
"But that doesn't explain his lack of memories.'" Said Marvelous.
"What do you mean?" asked Ford.
"My magic can help someone regain their memories." Said Marvelous, "No matter what happened to their memories…"
"Wait does that mean you could have helped Stan after…" said Ford.
"Well I didn't find out about it until after that." Said Marvelous, "But there have been a couple incidents where I accidently helped some people regain their blind eye memories."
"Wait then you're saying." Said Levy.
"He has no memories as all." Said Marvelous, "Or whoever sent him here knows about my magic…"
"Either option is concerning." Said Ford.
"What should we do?" asked Dipper.
"I don't know…" said Ford.
"Can we keep him?" asked Simone.
"He's not a dog." Said Dipper.
"But he doesn't have any memories." Said Simone.
"He could be missing." Said Levy.
"Hey Natsu! Gray! Do you think you can go see if there's any missing children that look like him?" asked Dipper.
"Why us?" asked Natsu.
"Because you are legally police in the town." Said Dipper.
Gray face palmed knowing that why.
"Oh… right." Said Natsu, "That makes sense."
The two headed to a police station.
Back with the fight Mirajane and Satan Soul Mary started to fight in the air.
Satan Soul Mary was ready for many attacks, but every time Mirajane would block.
"How can you be this good?" asked Satan Soul Mary.
"Many reasons." Said Mirajane, "I'm more powerful than you both magically and the forms, I'm more skilled and I know how to fight better."
Satan Soul Mary tried to punched her but Mirajane just crated a fiery shield.
"I'm even rusty with this form. Haven't used it since the demon's rampage on Gravity Falls." Said Satan Soul Mary.
"Why would you never use is if it's so powerful." Said Satan Soul Mary, "You seem to be able… to use it so easily."
"Just because I can use it easily doesn't mean I that can really use it easily." Said Mirajane, "The demon's rampage causes a lot pf pain… so much pain… people almost died and I almost lost a dear friend in a certain way…"
Satan Soul Mary wasn't sure how to react.
"I think it's time to finish you off." Said Mirajane.
"What?" asked Satan Soul Mary.
Her opponent wasn't ready for a very harsh punched.
Back in Gravity Falls, there was a phone call.
They all figured that it was from the Police Station. Levy was the one who answered it.
"Bad news, there doesn't seem to any missing children that match his destruction." Said Gray.
"Really?" asked Levy.
"It's true, there's nothing." Said Gray, "Thankfully I already starting filling out things with the town to have in someone's custody until we figure out who we are."
"Are you sure that's a good idea?" asked Levy.
It was Gravity Falls, of course a police man could do that.
"You any better ideas." Said Gray, "Whoever that kid is there's probably something about him… we've both lived in town for a long time."
"You're right." Sighed Levy.
"Let's figure out how takes care of him later." Said Gray.
"Yeah." Agreed Levy.
"I'll be back as soon as I can." Said Gray, "Natsu just got roped in something and I'm going to try to avoid it but I can't make any promises."
"Do I want to know." Said Levy.
"No you do not." Answered Gray.
Levy hung up.
"So no matching missing person?" asked Ford.
"Gray's filling out paper work so that someone in the guild can take custody of him." Said Levy.
"That's fair." Said Ford.
"So what should we call you?" asked Millie.
"I don't know…" said the boy.
"Do you have a feeling about you name?" aced Asuka.
"I don't know… I get something weird about the letter B… but that's it." Said the boy.
"Hmm…" said Simone.
"How about Bakery!" said Stany.
"That's not a name Stany." Said Simone.
"Well…" said the boy.
"Don't think about it." Said Simone, "It's not a name."
"What about Ben?" asked Millie.
"Ben?" asked the boy, "Is that a name?"
"It's a name." confirmed Simone.
"I'm okay with it…" said the boy.
"Okay! Then we'll call you Ben!" said Millie.
"Should we be naming him?" asked Ford.
"It's better than John Doe for the time being." Pointed out Dipper.
"Good point." Agreed Ford.
Back with Mirajane, she continued to punch and punch and punch Satan Soul Mary.
Satan Soul Mary tried to get a hit in but it wasn't good enough.
She kept getting hit and hit and hit.
"I won't lose!" yelled Satan Soul Mary coughing badly.
That was when Mirajane forced her back.
"You're already losing so give up." Said Mirajane.
She unleashed a fireball.
And then tackled her, ready to finish her off.
"You have done so much to us… making me use this form, hurting my friends and family…" said Mirajane.
Satan Soul Mary shook, unsure what do to do.
Mirajane smirked as he she unleashed her final move.
"Bad!" she scolded wagging her finger, "BAD!"
Satan Soul Mary exhausted from her fight and the sheer anti-climax of it passed out.
"Seriously?" asked Lisanna.
Elfman laughed at the results.
"So… we go this." Said Mirajane turn back to normal.
"Yeah we do." Said Lisanna.
"So should we call the Guild?" asked Lisanna.
"Once we have our distance from her." Said Mirajane.
The sibling team nodded.
Sometime later in the guild hall, the newly named Ben was very shy.
He seemed to flinch at most of the Guild Members when they first talked to him.
But it was strange… it wasn't all of them.
When Michelle first talked to him, he was fine.
"It's strange… he seems to flinch at all of us." Said Ford.
"Maybe it's because he senses that Michelle's actually a doll." Said Mabel.
"Is that a thing?" asked Ford.
"Yes." Answered Mabel, "All the shy kids at dad's house flocked to her."
"Oh… that's interesting." Said Ford.
"Please don't turn Michelle into an experiment." Said Lucy.
Mabel was about to say something.
"More than she already is." She added.
"Fair enough." Said Ford with a shrug.
That was when the phone rang.
"Hello." Answered Kinana.
"Hey! It's us! We got the clock part!" said Elfman on the other end.
"Hey got the clock part!" cheered Kinana.
"Clock part?" asked Ben.
"A magical item that the guild is protecting!" said Simone.
"Oh cool! I guess…" said Ben.
"Please tell me…" sighed Elfman on the phone.
"Don't worry… Oberon is still in the oven." Assured Kianna.
"Oh thank god." Said Elfman.
"Tell him he better get here!" yelled Evergreen.
"She wants you home." Laughed Kianna.
"Don't' worry, well get there soon." Said Elfman.
"There is something important though." Said Kinana, "There's a mystery."
"Weird Gravity Falls mystery or weird whodunit." Said Elfman.
"Weird Gravity Falls mystery." Said Kinana.
Although she lived in Earthland even she knew what a weird Gravity Falls mystery was.
"We need help on it…" said Kianna.
"We'll get there as soon as possible." Said Elfman.
"Thanks." Said Kinana.
Erza stepped up to the stage knowing that she had to talk to them.
"I know we know nothing about Ben." She said.
Ben was quiet.
"But we have to figure out both who he is and protect the clock piece." Said Erza, "I think we can handle both."
The guild all nodded.
Ben was just confused.
"I'm okay with not knowing who I am…" said Ben.
"Ben… you could be some sort of weapon designed to destroy or something." Said Simone, "They need to find out who are."
"What! No I don't want to be a weapon!" cried Ben.
"Simone!" scolded Erza.
"You don't think he could be a weapon?" whispered Kinana.
"he could be." Whispered Dipper.
"Another reason why we need to keep an eye on him. "agreed Ford.
With the clock piece in hand and a new Gravity Falls mystery on hand things were going to change.
And also hopefully they're going to be able to keep the Clock Piece this time… because if they don't… it will be very bad if they lose it.
Next Time: They celebrate the clock piece and try to solve the mystery of Ben. But it's not easy, not easy at all. It doesn't help that Ben is so shy and scared... what will happen? Find out next time!
A/N: Ben and the mystery of who he is will be a very long slow burn that will be part of the story for a long time... so I hope you don't mind it... Well unless I do "Torch the franchise and run"... like I said that fear isn't going away any time soon...
