Preparing for Gado
Fianna, Muir, and Lily checked on Ellis and the other Sylphid Knights. There no signs of any serious problems and they were at the most knocked out unconscious and Ellis was relieved to know that none of her fellow knights suffered anything fatal. They heard someone approaching and they looked and saw that it was Claire.
"Claire Rouge," Ellis said.
Fianna got irritated seeing Claire and looked away as she was annoyed. Claire saw and glared at Fianna and then she turned to Ellis.
"What's going on?" Claire asked, "Who was that male that attacked and did he really have two contracted spirits?"
"Oh my," Lily said, "so you witnessed it."
"I did so who was he and what's his purpose?" Claire asked.
"Well there's nothing to really worry," Muir said.
"Why do you say that?" Ellis said.
"Onii-sama is on to him," Muir said with confidence.
"Correct," Lily said, "Jio Inzagi may seem difficult and although he did catch you and others off guard, he's really weak. In fact, he's not even a real Elementalist."
"But I witnessed him summon two spirits," Ellis pointed.
"True but it still doesn't make him an Elementalist," Muir said, "Someone like him could never hope to defeat Onii-sama no matter how hard he tries. In fact, each of us here," Muir pointed to herself, Lily, and Fianna, "could easily take him down as well."
"How strong are you?" Claire asked.
Muir just looked at Claire and gave a sinister grin. Meanwhile Kamito and Jio clashed blades. Jio was feeling confident and grinned sadistically. Kamito pushed Jio back and Jio flipped up in the air.
"Appear before me," Jio said, "Shining Ray!"
Jio held the Shining Ray and launched it towards Kamito. Kamito just looked at the attack and sighed and then he easily shattered the Shining Ray. Jio landed on his feet and looked on as he was getting a bit concerned. Jio grabbed his Falchion and charged towards Kamito. There was a clash of the blades again but blood was spilled and it was Jio's own blood as Falchion was shattered and suffered a wound on his back that had seeped blood. Jio was shocked and couldn't understand why it was happening.
"Nothing's changed with you," Kamito said.
"What?" Jio replied.
Kamito sighed and turned around to face Jio.
"I don't even have to try," Kamito said, "I'll easily defeat you every time."
Jio was shocked in what Kamito had just said and he clenched his teeth.
"Don't get cocky with me Kamito," Jio replied, "you're not the strongest Blade Dancer anymore," Jio pointed at Kamito with resentment, "Do you understand that, Ren Ashbell?"
"Pardon?" Kamito replied surprised.
Jio grinned as he put his finger down, "That's right. I know for a fact that you were Ren Ashbell but I can say this," Jio pointed at Kamito again, "You may not have let your skills get rusty but it hasn't been the same for you since you let go of your Dark Spirit."
"Oh, is that so?" Kamito replied, "I see. Well like I said, you can forget about getting away from here. You're done."
"Done?" Jio replied and then he scoffed, "You really are a moron. You just got a lucky hit on me striking my back but it won't slow me down and I'll still beat you. I got what I came for and beating you is my bonus Kamito."
Kamito sighed and went through his breast pocket.
"You still haven't realized Jio," Kamito said, "You don't have any real skill. You're not the successor of the Demon King. Hell, you're not even an actual Elementalist…" Kamito brought out something and it was the sealed documents, "you're nothing more but a clown."
Jio was shocked and checked his pockets and realized that it was the same sealed documents that he had took and that Kamito now had in his hands.
"Damn you!" Jio spoke angrily, "When did you…?" Jio shook his head, "No matter, I'll take it back and you'll be—"
"You'll do no such thing," Kamito interjected.
Jio was shocked and quickly turned around and found that Kamito was behind him.
"I win," Kamito said.
Jio reacted too late as Kamito quickly struck Jio and preventing Jio to take any further action. Jio was sent flying and then he fell on the ground. Kamito walked up and Jio got his head up and clenched his teeth. He took something out and held on to it tight and started to use the item to target Kamito's Demon Slayer. Kamito reacted quickly by stabbing Jio's arm in which Jio screamed in pain and forced him to drop the item. Kamito saw the item and picked up.
"I knew it," Kamito said, "a blood stone, the blood stone housing Nebuchadnezzar. This just proves that you really are a fake, through and through."
"Bastard!" Jio shouted.
Meanwhile, Ellis, Fianna, Lily, and Muir were quickly making their way to get to Kamito. Fianna, Muir, and Lily were confident that Kamito can easily beat Jio and were going to see if they could assist him. They saw Kamito and they also saw Jio on the ground and they saw that he was in pain. Kamito looked back and saw the girls.
"Oh hey," Kamito said waving at them.
"Amazing," Ellis said surprised.
"Like we said," Muir said, "nothing to worry about."
"Here Ellis," Kamito said.
Kamito tossed the sealed documents to Ellis and the Slyphid Knight Captain saw it and caught it.
"It's seems I owe you again," Ellis said.
"No you don't owe me," Kamito assured, "I just wanted to help, that's all. Now then…"
Kamito turned to Jio who was still on the ground.
"Damn you," Jio said with hatred as he was still bleeding from the stab wound on his arm.
"Onii-sama, that thing in your hand," Muir said, "It's a blood stone, right?"
"Yeah, it is," Kamito said.
"Wait, a blood stone?" Ellis asked.
"That's right Ellis," Kamito said, "It has the Mad King Spirit, Nebuchadnezzar inside."
"Nebuchadnezzar is a high level spirit that is capable of controlling other spirits," Lily said, "That's the source Jio's so-called power."
"You really are one of the worse," Fianna said to Jio with disdain, "you just capture and steal spirits and use them as disposable tools. Referring to you as an Elementalist is a sick joke."
"Shut the hell up!" Jio responded angrily, "Don't act all high and mighty with me, imperial bitch!"
Kamito reacted to what Jio called Fianna when he raised an eyebrow and kicked Jio's face hard and caused him to have a bloody nose. Jio moaned in pain when he got kicked in the face.
"You never seem to learn," Kamito said, "Don't insult Fianna."
"You're going to pay for this!" Jio said with defiance.
"You wouldn't have bothered to really come here to steal the sealed documents for your own sake," Kamito said, "it's clear that someone put you up to this," Kamito walked and bent his knees to face Jio, "Start talking Jio, who put you up to this?"
"Do you really think that I would just tell you anything?" Jio sneered, "Heh, you really are an idiot."
Kamito sighed, "Okay, I see you want to do this the hard way."
Kamito started to form a fist with his gloved hand.
"Kamito," Fianna said.
Kamito looked over and saw Fianna had a rope and Kamito raised an eyebrow.
"Uh Fianna, if you don't mind me asking," Kamito said, "how come you have a rope on you?"
Fianna just gave a cheerful smile, "Oh don't worry about it."
Kamito just responded with a light chuckled and Ellis looked away as she was a bit disturbed.
"Maybe it's best not to know," Ellis said quietly.
Meanwhile Claire and Rinslet were running in the forest.
"Again, why are you following me?" Claire asked.
"Oh I'm not following you," Rinslet said, "I'm curious of what's going on myself. To think that another male Elementalist would appear."
"And yet, Muir and Lily say that he's not a real one," Claire said.
"I wonder…" Rinslet said.
Not long afterwards, Claire and Rinslet arrived to see Kamito tying Jio up with the rope that Fianna provided him and used the end of the rope and swung it over a branch of a tall tree. Lily turned and noticed Claire and Rinslet.
"Oh, you two," Lily said.
The others turned to see Claire and Rinslet.
"Huh, what brings you two here?" Kamito asked.
"Yes, why are you two here?" Ellis asked.
"I came here to help," Claire said, "I don't know about Rinslet Laurenfrost."
Rinslet frowned at Claire.
"I see," Kamito replied, "but it's okay, we got this."
Kamito proceeded to pull the rope up and which had Jio hanging upside down.
"So who is this guy?" Rinslet said.
"He's nobody," Muir said, "just a lowlife and a thief who was hired to snatch something from the academy."
"How dare you," Jio sneered, "I'm the successor of the Demon King."
"T-The Demon King?" Claire said surprised.
"Don't listen to him," Kamito said, "he's not the Demon King's successor. He thinks he's the successor of the Demon King but he's not. He's nothing more but a fraud."
"It's obvious since Onii-sama beat him so easily," Muir said with a shrug.
Claire and Rinslet were still confused and Ellis was a bit confused herself.
"Now then," Kamito said as he cracked his knuckles.
Jio looked at Kamito with defiance.
"What, you actually think you can actually make me talk?" Jio asked and then he grinned, "Ha, you won't break me!"
"Your bones will," Kamito said with a calm and disturbing tone.
Jio struggled to get free but he was unsuccessful and he clenched his teeth in frustration and was still feeling the pain from the stab wound and kick that Kamito inflicted on him.
"You know you can't do anything now that you don't have your blood stone," Fianna said.
"Wait, blood stone?" Claire asked.
"What blood stone?" Rinslet asked.
"So start talking Jio," Kamito said, "or I hit your face again."
"Piss off," Jio said, "you're nothing compare to me. I don't hang out and act concern for weak girls. You trash!"
Jio spat at Kamito and Lily and Muir took offense to it and was about murder Jio right there and then but Kamito signaled them to stop.
"Okay," Kamito said.
Kamito then punched Jio in the face four times and they were quick and hard punches. Muir and Lily took satisfaction with what Kamito was doing. Fianna was actually amused while Ellis, Claire, and Rinslet were surprised. Claire and Rinslet felt a bit disturbed that Kamito had punched Jio in the face and that he did it with a calm expression as he used Jio's face as a punching bag and some of Jio's blood had splattered on Kamito's face.
"Okay, so let's start this again," Kamito said as he wiped Jio's blood off his face, "I'm going to ask you again. Who sent you to steal the sealed documents?"
"You bastard!" Jio replied angrily and then he coughed some blood.
"Mm, no that's not an answer," Kamito said.
"When I get out of this, I'll kill all of you," Jio vowed, "and then I—"
Kamito sighed as he punched Jio again in the face cutting off Jio's raving and then he grabbed Jio's throat and held on to it forcing Jio to look at Kamito. Kamito took his hand off his throat.
"Who put you up to this?" Kamito asked with a death glare, "Tell me, now. You're not getting out of this so you might as well just give up and talk."
Claire and Rinslet saw the glare that Kamito was giving Jio and Claire didn't know why but for some reason, she felt a disturbing chill and it screamed murderous intent from Kamito.
"You want to know so damn badly?" Jio responded angrily, "Okay I'll tell you but you're not going to like the answer."
"Just say it," Ellis said as she was losing patience.
Jio glared at Ellis and then looked at Kamito as he answered.
"It was your Dark Spirit Kamito," Jio answered.
"Restia?" Kamito replied surprised.
"That's right," Jio said as he was started to smile, "it was your Dark Spirit who sent me here for the sealed documents. In fact, she's been aiding me all this time."
Kamito was shocked again and then he frowned.
"Restia…" Kamito said.
Fianna was concerned and got angry at the fact that Restia in her mind was betraying Kamito and Ellis and Rinslet were concerned as they recalled Kamito telling them who Restia was and Claire was annoyed hearing about Restia again as she was still angry that Restia basically used her and took advantage of her and she caused the trouble back in the Academy City's Coliseum by making Glasya-Labolas go on berserk. Muir and Lily got irritated that Restia would actually aid Jio and they wonder if this was some sort of plan with Rubia Elstein.
"A shame for you Kamito Kazehaya," Jio said in a mocking tone, "of course it just means that you're weak. I bet what really happened is that she couldn't stand that you're weak and looked for someone who's strong."
"Well it sure as hell isn't you Jio," Kamito responded.
"I'll make her submit to me," Jio said.
"Delusional much?" Lily said.
"What does Restia want with the sealed documents?" Kamito asked.
"I don't know," Jio said, "something about the military spirit in Gado."
"In Gado?" Kamito replied, "You mean Jormungand?"
The others were surprised again.
"Does she plan to release the military spirit there?" Lily asked.
"I don't know," Jio asked, "and quite frankly I don't give a damn. I don't care what they intend to do with Jormungand nor do I care to know what their overall goal is. It doesn't matter to me. However…"
"However…?" Kamito asked.
"It really doesn't matter," Jio said, "but let me tell you what does matter."
"What the hell?" Kamito asked.
"You three," Jio said to Claire, Rinslet, and Ellis, "Do you that—"
Jio was suddenly struck with something and was wide eyed and was in pain which would then lead him to be unconscious. This surprised the others and then wondered what happened. Kamito felt something that was familiar to him and he looked around.
"Could it be…?" Kamito asked as he ran off to check.
On top of the roof of the academy's main building, Restia stood with a power formed on her hand and then she dissipated it.
"Foolish boy," Restia said with a frown as she was not amused, "He was absolutely useless and he was going to reveal something about Kamito just out of spite," Restia sighed, "oh well… maybe she'll want to do something in Gado since the plan failed."
Restia disappeared from the campus.
The Next Day
Ellis was in Greyworth's office giving her report. Greyworth was standing looking out of the window listening to Ellis's report.
"I see," Greyworth said, "I understand. Good work Ellis."
"Oh no ma'am," Ellis said, "It was really Kamito who deserves thanks. He's the one who stopped this Jio Inzagi."
"Still I am concerned about Gado," Greyworth said.
"Headmistress…" Ellis said.
"I don't want to take any chances," Greyworth said with a frown.
Meanwhile Kamito was sitting in his small house thinking about everything that had happened last night.
"Jio was taken to prison last night but the presence I felt last night," Kamito said with a frown, "it was faint and was only a second but there's no doubt in my mind that it was Restia's," Kamito sighed, "Well it's given that she's involved and she's one who had Jio infiltrate the academy. That means that she wants the sealed document and it has to do with our mission in Gad," Kamito folded his arms, "is she trying to get that military spirit Jormungand for herself? But why? Is this part of her plan to bring out the real me? The real me…"
"Kamito," Est said suddenly.
Kamito looked and saw that Est was offering a piece of sausage.
"Kamito, say ah," Est said.
Kamito blinked and then he smiled at the gesture and said ah. Est fed him the piece of sausage and Kamito ate it happily.
"Thank you Est," Kamito said.
Kamito petted Est's head and Est enjoyed the gesture with a smile and she blushed. There was a sudden knock on his door and Kamito and Est looked and wondered who it was.
"I'm coming," Kamito said.
Kamito went and opened his door and he found that it was Fianna.
"Oh good morning Fianna," Kamito greeted.
"Good morning Kamito," Fianna greeted back.
"Come in," Kamito said.
"Actually Kamito," Fianna said, "I want to take a walk around the campus and I was wondering if you would take one with me."
"Oh," Kamito replied and then he smiled, "sure why not?"
Fianna was happy as she blushed. Meanwhile elsewhere on campus, Rinslet was walking with her contracted spirit Fenrir and her personal maid Carol.
"Why don't we head to the cafeteria?" Rinslet suggested.
"That's a wonderful idea my lady," Carol replied happily.
They suddenly saw two people at the other side and it was Kamito and Fianna who are walking together talking happily.
"Now there's a sight," Rinslet said and then sighed, "how nice for Kamito to be so close to the princess and yet it is so irritated."
"My, you really do care about Master Kamito," Carol deduced happily.
Rinslet flinched and shook her head, "That's not it Carol. Not it at all. All I want to do is make Kamito Kazehaya my servant and to get back at him."
Carol giggled at what Rinslet was saying as she that she wasn't being honest with herself. They suddenly noticed someone and they saw that it was Claire. Claire looked and saw Kamito and Fianna walking together and saw that they were enjoying each other's company. Claire was not sure what to do and she felt frustrated and then remembered what Kamito did to Jio Inzagi last night when she saw that Kamito had defeated him and wounded him and then recalled what he did when he interrogated him. In truth, Claire felt a bit disturbed and she wondered what might have happened if she had pushed him so far when she didn't realize.
Flashback
In the classroom designated for the Raven Class, Kamito went up to take his seat. Kamito went up the stairs to get to his seat and then a whip suddenly wrapped around his midsection. Kamito was annoyed and turned to look at Claire who was gripping her whip.
"Where do you think you're going?" Claire asked, "You sit next to me."
"No," Kamito replied.
"Don't be disobedient," Claire pointed at Kamito, "you owe me."
"Claire, you have two choices right now," Kamito said, "either let me go right now freely or I will force you to let me go, either way, you will release me and stop this idiocy right now."
"So you insist on being rebellious, do you?" Claire responded angrily.
Kamito looked at Claire with a murderous glare and Claire was shocked and felt an uncomfortable chill running through her spine.
Flashback End
Claire had thought about what had happened at that time.
"Even then, I felt that Kamito was dangerous," Claire said, "I felt that he actually had murderous intent."
"Murderous intent?" Rinslet's voice asked, "Who are you referring to? Are you referring to Kamito?"
Claire was surprised and she looked and saw Rinslet along with Fenrir and Carol.
"Rinslet," Claire said.
"What is this I'm hearing about murderous intent?" Rinslet asked, "Is this about what Kamito did to that guy last night?"
"Uh well… sort of," Claire said.
"Well he certainly a mysterious," Rinslet said, "But seriously, maybe we should learn a bit more about him. We could ask Ordesia's second princess since she's close to him."
"No way," Claire responded, "absolutely not. I refuse to interact with her."
"Really?" Rinslet replied, "Even though you two are roommates?"
"She irritates me," Claire said with a frown.
Rinslet sighed, "Okay what about Kamito's sister Muir or that Elfim girl Lily."
Claire twitched an eyebrow and folded her arms. Rinslet and Carol looked at each other and then back to Claire.
"Claire, do you still plan to be in Kamito's team?" Rinslet asked.
Claire flinched and looked at Rinslet and then she looked away.
"Yeah, I still do," Rinslet said.
"…If that's the case, then you're going to need to swallow your pride," Rinslet said, "as much as how unfair it is."
Claire clenched her teeth and then slumped with a sad expression.
"Yes, you may be right Rinslet," Claire said.
Meanwhile Kamito and Fianna were in the forest enjoying the scenery.
"It almost feels like we're on a date," Fianna said happily, "walking together in the forest like this."
"A date, huh?" Kamito said happily, "Well if you really want, I'd be willing to take around town. Just you and me and you consider it as a real date."
"Really?" Fianna said happily, "You really mean that Kamito?"
"Yeah, anytime you want, anywhere," Kamito said happily, "just say the word."
"Wonderful," Fianna said happily as she latched on to his arm, "you're so sweet."
Kamito grinned happily as he blushed.
"I really like being with you Kamito," Fianna said.
"Yeah, I like being with you too Fianna," Kamito replied.
Meanwhile Lily and Muir were on one of the trees and watching Kamito and Fianna walking together.
"Fianna and Onii-sama are getting even closer," Muir said intrigued, "Are you sure you're okay with this Lily?"
Lily flinched and looked at Muir.
"Why are you asking me?" Lily asked.
"If this keeps up, you might lose your chance," Muir said looking at Lily, "you do like my Onii-sama so much."
Lily flinched again and looked away with a blush.
"I'm just grateful to him," Lily said as she was fidgeting and still blushing, "I owe him my life."
Muir just looked at Lily with a smile and Lily noticed that Muir was just looking at her.
"What?" Lily asked.
"Oh nothing," Muir said with a smile.
Back with Kamito and Fianna, the two were looking at the lake.
"This really is a great place to relax," Kamito said.
"Yes, it really is," Fianna said, "…I feel lucky right now."
"Lucky?" Kamito asked.
"Yes I'm lucky to have great teammates going into the Blade Dance," Fianna said, "you, Muir, and Lily are so strong."
"Give yourself credit Fianna," Kamito said, "you're strong too."
"I appreciate you saying that," Fianna said, "it's my hope that I regain what was taken from me four years ago."
"Don't worry about it Fianna," Kamito said as he held on Fianna's hand, "whatever happens, we're right with you. We're here for you… especially me."
Fianna blushed and looked at Kamito and was touched by his words.
"Kamito," Fianna said and then smiled, "thank you."
Fianna got close to Kamito and they both smiled and Fianna was thinking how Kamito was her prince.
Academy City
In a parlor of a restaurant Restia was sitting in a table and someone came by and sat in the same table and it was Rubia who had a cloak over her clothes with a hood covering her face.
"Jio Inzagi didn't pull through," Rubia said, "instead he got caught and is now is sitting in prison cell."
"We both knew he wasn't much," Restia said, "but I would have thought that he would at least escape with the sealed documents."
"It was a mistake to count on him in the first place," Rubia said, "no choice, I'll have to take care it myself."
"Wait, are you seriously going to do it?" Restia asked.
"Yes, I'll be heading to Gado as well," Rubia said, "I'm sure we can get it done even without the sealed documents."
"You do realize that Kamito will be there," Restia reminded, "along with the Lost Queen who has a grudge against you by the way."
"A lot of people have a grudge against me," Rubia replied, "she's no different."
Restia just looked at Rubia and simply shrugged.
"Very well if it is your wish," Restia said, "I'll help you get it done. By then, hopefully Kamito awakens."
Areishia Spirit Academy
Kamito and Fianna were still enjoying the view of the lake and talking to each other.
"You two," A female voice said.
Kamito and Fianna turned and saw that it was Ellis along with Rakka and Reishia.
"Oh Ellis," Kamito said.
Ellis saw how close Kamito and Fianna were and Ellis frowned and blushed and she looked away.
"Ellis, is something wrong?" Kamito asked.
"Uh, n-no, not really," Ellis said.
"Captain, are you sure you don't want to say anything," Reishia asked in a whisper to Ellis.
"What are you talking about?" Ellis whispered back.
"You know," Rakka whispered, "about your feelings."
Ellis was shocked and blushed.
"You two are seriously misunderstanding something here," Ellis said, "there's nothing going on."
"So you insist on being in denial Captain?" Rakka asked.
"Oh, that's not good," Reishia said.
"Enough you two," Ellis demanded.
Kamito just looked at the three knights confused and Fianna got closer to Kamito.
"Um, is there something wrong or going on here?" Kamito asked out of curiosity.
"Well…" Rakka spoke as she and Reishia smiled.
"It's nothing," Reishia said, "it's just that our leader gets emotional when it comes to you."
"Huh, to me?" Kamito replied.
"Don't listen to them Kamito," Ellis insisted as she was still blushing, "it's just a misunderstanding on their part."
"They're not misunderstanding," Fianna said in her head, "it's obvious from you Ellis Fahrengart but too bad... Kamito is mine."
Not long afterwards, Kamito and Fianna were informed of what they were going to do and were surprised.
"Wait, you're heading to the mining town as well?" Kamito asked.
"Yes, thanks to you, Jio Inzagi was stopped and now is in prison and the sealed documents was not taken," Ellis said, "but based on what he said, your former contracted spirit is involved and we already know that she intentionally caused that military spirit to go berserk. I spoke with the headmistress and she says that received a source that there's a third person involved who may have planned it."
Kamito and Fianna were surprised as they looked at each other and then back to Ellis.
"Did she say who?" Fianna asked.
"No she didn't," Ellis said, "she says that there's a third person but she doesn't know who it is."
"No, I'm sure she does," Kamito said in his head, "she must have realized."
"It's humiliating," Ellis said.
"Huh, what is?" Kamito asked.
"After what happened last night and what Jio Inzagi did, the Sylphid Knights' reputation took a major hit," Ellis said, "if we get the third person involved, we'd be able to restore our honor and reputation."
"Um you know," Fianna spoke.
"Yes?" Ellis replied.
"Since we're going to the same place, what would you say about working together?" Fianna suggested.
"Yeah, that's a great idea Fianna," Kamito said to Fianna and then turned to Ellis, "How about it Ellis?"
The three knights were surprised and they looked at each other and then back to the Kamito and Fianna.
"We appreciate the thought but we must decline," Ellis said, "we've troubled you enough last night and don't want to add on to it. But thank you for offer. We'll take care of our end so you just take care of what you need to do."
"Hmm, what a shame," Kamito said, "but if that's what you want then so be it. Please be careful you three."
"Yes please do," Fianna said.
"Of course," Ellis said, "same goes for you two and Muir and Lily."
They all smiled at each other.
An Hour Later
Kamito and Est were at the front of the entrance gate of the academy with a horse and were waiting for Muir, Fianna, and Lily. The horse was chewing on one of Est's knee socks.
"Would you like me to end you?" Est asked the horse.
The horse stopped chewing on Est's knee sock and Est sighed and Kamito smiled as he was amused.
"Kamito, Est, sorry we're late," Fianna's voice said.
Kamito and Est looked over and saw Fianna, Muir, and Lily with their own horses as the approached Kamito and Est.
"It's not a problem," Kamito said with a smile, "okay with that, we're all here."
"Let's go," Fianna said, "our destination: The mining town, Gado."
Kamito, Lily, Fianna, and Muir were getting ready and prepared as they all got on their horses and was ready to head to Gado. They were being watched by Greyworth who was in her office and she counted on them to do what they've been assigned to do. On the side of the building, Claire and Rinslet along with Carol were watching them preparing to go to Gado.
"Okay, they're about to go," Claire said, "which means it's time for me to go as well."
"So you're really going to follow them to Gado," Rinslet said.
"I've made up my mind," Claire said, "I'm going to do whatever it takes. I'm going to follow them to Gado and I will do what it takes to be on their team."
"Well then I'm sure you don't mind if I go with you," Rinslet said.
Claire was surprised and she looked at Rinslet who simply smiled.
"You're going to need my help after all," Rinslet said as stroke back her hair in a prideful manner.
"Milady," Carol said.
Claire just looked at Rinslet and then just sighed.
"Fine whatever," Claire said, "I guess it can't hurt to have help."
