A/N: Sorry for the long wait! Thank you all so much for your reviews on the last chapter! I hope you all enjoy this chapter!

The next day was pretty much a blur for Bonnie. She was pretty sure that if she were still human, walking would be nonexistent for a few months. She and Damon may have performed every sexual act in the Karma Sutra handbook with maybe even a few new things that could be added. But fucking wasn't just their top priority today; they fed on each other as well. And let's just say, it was a good thing they healed quickly.

This was the only time Bonnie allowed the rules to be bent for them to spend the night with each other. Even though usually they would be at her place instead of the boarding house, to which she was sure that Stefan, who came home in the middle of the day, heard them. And she really didn't care. Damon was feeding the hunger that decided to plague its nasty way between her legs three days out of every month. If she didn't satisfy it with sex; then the shivers, the convulsing, and the sweat would start at random times throughout the day. And since she and Damon already had a system going, what was the point of torturing herself. Yes, he knew about her Heat curse, and he didn't mind servicing her. It pretty much worked all the way around.

Bonnie had every intention of walking downstairs in her birthday suit, but she kept forgetting that she wasn't at her house. So, she put on one of his shirts and left him sleeping in bed. She probably would have stayed sleeping as well, if he didn't decide to cuddle into her. That was something that would not happen between them.

When she walked downstairs into the kitchen, she didn't realize that Stefan would be making breakfast with Elena. Both eyes went to her, and Elena's eyes widened. Stefan's didn't because Bonnie knew he was already aware that it was her up there making all those noises with Damon.

Bonnie looked at the both of them for a moment and then proceeded to the fridge, not wanting to interrupt their breakfast making and Elena's jaw that dropped to the ground.

"B-Bonnie… what are you doing here?" Elena's voice stuttered a bit. And while Bonnie was pulling out the milk to pour into her cereal, she rolled her eyes before she turned back to Elena.

"I'm sure you heard the show."

"You and Damon?" Bonnie and Stefan both detected the hurt in her voice. Stefan chose to ignore it, but Bonnie decided to have a little fun with it.

"Yes, me and Damon. We decided why wait? It would happen eventually. We love each other and I'm all he sees." After fixing her cereal, she put up the contents, gave her a smirk, and went back upstairs.

And she couldn't help but listen in a little before she walked into Damon's room.

"Did you know about this?" She heard Elena snap.

"I just found out last night after I brought you home. And I don't believe they're together."

She heard the calming breath Elena took. "Stefan, we really need to help Bonnie. Her snapping at me, lying… this just isn't her."

And that's when Bonnie stopped listening to the conversation and walked into Damon's room.

Damon was walking out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist when she entered. Bonnie would blame it on the Heat rearing its ugly head again with how she had to pause from taking another bite of her cereal. Words couldn't describe how good Damon looked right now. She's seen him naked plenty of times so she knows he has the body of an Adonis, as well as other attributes that made her take a double look.

"The way you're looking at me right now would make me blush." He was up next to her, pulling her bowl away and eating some of her cereal.

"Hey get your own."

"I'd rather just eat yours." He said taking a bite. "So, we're madly in love?"

She yanked the bowl out of his hand. "You wish." She took a bite. "But the look on your 'reason for breathing's face' was priceless."

He ignored that last part. "Admit it."

"Admit what?" she took another bite, clearly confused.

"Admit that you were jealous."

She laughed. "Jealous of what? The only way I would be jealous is if what we were doing meant something more than just sex."

He smirked and decided he would play with her a little. He walked closer to her and by the look she was giving him, he knew that Heat thing was in affect again. He put down the cereal bowl and put it on his dresser. She didn't say anything and just allowed it to happen.

He then looked her intently in the eyes and pulled her over to his bed, and as he sat down he kept her standing in front of him. She still didn't say a word, but the smell of her sex was pounding inside of him, making his mouth water and his fangs lengthen. He lifted up her thigh and brought it to his shoulder, leaving gentle kisses along her inner thigh.

Even though Bonnie and Damon had spent the whole night and morning having sex, feeling this left shivers down her spine.

Their eyes never left each other as he bit into the flesh closest to her core; taking her blood lightly, but staring at her with the look of 'no one can do this to you better than me.'

He was holding her steady so she wouldn't fall.

Bonnie wondered if she weren't in Heat would she continue to let him do this to her. She probably would leave since he felt like he was entitled and that he was that good that she couldn't go somewhere else.

Well, maybe.

When his tongue found her center, her knees buckled a little and her eyes closed as she began savoring the work he was doing on her pussy. He jerked her a little, issuing that she needed to watch what he was doing to her. Looking into his eyes as he ate her out made her shatter into a million pieces. He then picked her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist. The kiss he gave her drowned out everything else.

They would deal with the feelings that were beginning to rise later, but right now he carried her to the shower and took her repeatedly.

Two more days had passed and the Heat within Bonnie began to cease. If vampires didn't have such great stamina, she probably would never want to have sex again until the next occurrence.

On her way out of the boardinghouse, she realized that she hadn't looked at her phone once since having her rendezvous with Damon; which was unlike her even during that time of the month. And the fact that they did more than just sex was unsettling to her, so while he slept, she ducked out. She hadn't heard commotion from Stefan and Elena in the past few days so she figured that they made themselves scarce. She wouldn't want to hear people fucking for three days straight, barely coming up from air, either.

Especially in Elena's case.

When she looked at her phone she saw that she had at least 15 missed calls from the Mikaleson's; two from Rebekah, five from Elijah, and eight from Klaus. She had one text from Kol two days ago, and several texts from the Mikaelson's as a whole. She even had a long one from Elena. And since she was in her car and the light turned green again, she decided to read them when she got home.

She didn't get a chance too.

Rebekah was sitting on the steps of her home with a sad expression on her face and tears in her eyes.

The fact that Bonnie could never turn off her emotions, seeing Rebekah like this made her blood run cold. She knew something was wrong.

"Rebekah? What's…?" She never got to finish her sentence.

"Kol's dead."

What? "No…" Not Kol.

She made her way to Rebekah. "What happened… how?"

"The Gilbert's." She said spitefully. "That doppelganger bitch and her whiny brother." Rebekah didn't care about the relationship Bonnie had with them or use to have. She was pissed.

Instant anger spiked through her. "But how? I thought all of the white oak stakes were taken care of?" The only thing that could kill an original.

"Apparently, they still have one."

Bonnie wiped her eyes and wrapped Rebekah in her arms as she cried. Bonnie tried her best not to break down. But, in just the short amount of time, she really got to know Kol and she loved him like a brother. This was just too much.

"I'm going to kill her, Bonnie, and Jeremy too." Rebekah's voice held vengeance. "They've already killed one of my brothers, and now Kol." She paused for a moment. "I know the past three days have been your monthly fixes, so I know you were with Damon. I tried getting Klaus and Elijah to stop calling you so much, but when they didn't get an answer from you, they got worried. They don't know that you've been with Damon this whole time. And I would have come there, but if I would have run into that bitch, I would have killed her. And I wanted to let you know first. Also, Klaus almost thought you had something to do with it too, since you haven't been answering your phone."

She nodded. She could understand that. "Well, Klaus should know me better than that." She then brought her stuff inside, followed by Rebekah. "Let's go." Because as much as she didn't care for Elena like she use too, she didn't necessarily want her to die. They still had history. "We're going to the mansion and figure out what the heck happened."

When Bonnie and Rebekah walked into the mansion, they caught the attention of both brothers drinking scotch and staring into the fire. It almost reminded Bonnie of Damon and Stefan.

Elijah was up, immediately wrapping Bonnie in his arms. Bonnie couldn't hide the fact that she almost sank into him. Being with the Mikaelson's always felt like a breath of relief. It was like coming home after a distant trip.

"I'm so sorry." She said.

"Are you?" Klaus's voice filled their ears. The pain on his face was noticeable but so was the anger.

"Of course I am. I loved Kol too."

Klaus was in front of her in a second and she didn't even budge.

"Leave us." Though he was referring to Elijah and Rebekah, his eyes bored into Bonnie's.

Bonnie issued that it was okay for them to step out of the room.

"Your little doppelganger friend killed my brother and you were what? Satisfying urges with one of the Salvatore's for three days?"

Her eyes widened a little at the fact that he knew.

"Surprised that I knew? Our dear Rebekah didn't have to tell me after she kept trying to cover for you. Newsflash, she's not really good at it."

Bonnie rolled her eyes. He was missing the point. "I had no idea what Elena was doing. I'm not her little watcher. I would have never…." She paused. She just couldn't believe Kol wasn't alive anymore. "So, don't pin this on me because you're upset."

"I called you and sent those bloody text messages. But you cannot answer because you're with that vampire. I should have came to the boarding house and killed you both myself."

"But you didn't." If looks could kill, she'd probably be officially dead right now, with no way of coming back."Look, Klaus, I don't answer to you. I can do whatever the hell I want. So, quit with this temperamental bullshit!" she yelled. She may have been the only other one outside of his family to yell at him, and though she knew there would probably be consequences, she didn't care. "I know you're hurting and this is the only way you can take it out, but just stop."

"I'm going to burn the Gilbert House to the ground with Elena and Jeremy in it."

"I'm not going to let you kill them. I'll talk to them."

"Now I know where your loyalties lie."

"This isn't about being loyal like I'm a fucking dog. This is about handling it, in another way. So, you are not going to kill her."

"You're right… I'm not."

As Bonnie sat in her car in front of the Gilbert home, she finally got around to reading the text message Elena sent her, and it sent shivers down her spine:

E: Bonnie I just wanted to say that I'm not mad about you and Damon. I think it's great. I know you're not yourself right now, so I know a lot has been going on and I'm not going to hold it against you. I know it's the originals that are making you this way. That are turning you against your friends and making you kill people. But all of that is going to end soon. Jeremy and I have a plan. I love you.

She ignored the call from Damon as she stepped out of her car and knocked on the door. Elena opened the door for her to enter, and she felt as if she hadn't been here in ages, though not much had changed.

"I'm glad you came." Elena smiled. "You just missed Jeremy.

Good, she immediately thought. "I can't stay long." She honestly had no reason for coming here, but she felt the need to get this over with.

Bonnie followed her into the kitchen to where Elena was making tea.

"Do you think you can get the cups for me, Bonnie?" she asked, and though she was being polite, Bonnie wanted to wring her neck after everything that happened.

"School starts soon, are you ready for senior year?"

Bonnie shrugged and grabbed the mugs, but left them on the counter and looked at her."You know I'm not here to talk about that."

Elena nodded. "Bonnie, like I said, I'm okay with you and Damon."

"This has nothing to do with me and Damon."

"Oh, you mean Kol? I don't know why you're upset. He's an original, Bonnie. I did this for you."

"No you didn't. I didn't ask for this. I didn't ask for you to kill Kol."

"They've been manipulating you since you've turned. You haven't been yourself."

"I've been exactly who I'm supposed to be." She snapped. "You killed someone's brother."

"And what about all of the awful things they've done? We were doing this world a favor."

"And what about all the lives you've killed that were in Kol's bloodline? What if they weren't evil and were just trying to live their lives, and you and Jeremy just….You just don't understand what kind of worms you've opened up. Klaus, Rebekah, and Elijah want to kill you now."

The tea kettle going off broke their conversation. Bonnie decided to prepare everything, hoping to calm herself down. She stood there for a moment, looking at the tea and the cups; trying to wrap her head around everything that happened. She was so mad at Elena. Everything always centered back towards her. And yet, deep down, Bonnie still didn't want this life for her.

Breaking out of her daze, she handed a cup to Elena who took a sip.

"I didn't want us to be like this Bonnie. You're my best friend. Can we just forget about everything that's happened and go back?"

"I can't Elena… I can't forget about everything that's happened." And before anything else could be said, Bonnie sped up to Elena, snapped her neck, and watched as she hit the ground.

As soon as she walked out of the house, it was like a fog lifted over her eyes and she realized what she just did. It was like she had no control over her actions; as if she were…

Compelled.

She remembered everything now. Klaus compelled her to kill Elena. The only thing that she was confused about is that it must have not have been strong on her, because she was able to put some of her blood in Elena's cup before she drank from it.

Stefan and Damon walking up to the house, broke her out of her thoughts. They both looked bloody and bruised, and she didn't even have to ask what happened to know that they got into it with The Originals. A small part of her wanted to stay to see if Damon was alright, but she opted against it.

"She's in there." Bonnie spoke softly, trying to mask the tears that were threatening to fall.

Stefan sped in.

"What happened? what did you do?" Damon asked.

She ignored him and walked on.

"Bonnie?"

"What I had too." And then she was gone.

And Damon walked in to find out that Elena Gilbert was dead.

"How could you!" Bonnie yelled after she punched Klaus in the face. Her anger was so high that her punch sent him flying back a bit.

He stood up and smirked. "You're letting your emotions get the best of you, Bonnie."

"You just made me kill my best friend."

"You didn't want my siblings and I to do it, but it needed to be done."

She shoved him, but this time he sped towards her and held her by the neck. "Be careful love, my patience is wearing thin."

"How could you compel me, Klaus? You took my choice away from me…" She paused as her emotions began working in overdrive. "I thought…. I thought we were at least friends."

He let her go, and then she sped away from the mansion.

She ended up in the middle of the woods, standing in front of the spot that was marked for her burial. She always came here sometimes when she wanted to be alone and needed a minute to think. Matt thought it was appropriate to have something for her when she was going through a really tough time.

So much had happened, and she felt partly responsible for Kol's death. If she hadn't tried to ease her Heat, she could have probably been there to stop Elena and Jeremy. As much shit as Kol had done over the years, he didn't deserve what happened to him, because if that were the case, then so did Stefan and Damon. But, Elena just didn't see clearly.

And the fact that she had just taken Elena's life. What did that make her?

How did their lives end up like this?

When soft fingers intertwined with hers, she jumped a little, and looked beside her.

It was Caroline.

Bonnie emotional walls had officially broken down upon seeing her best friend. She hadn't seen Caroline the whole summer, and she was really glad that she was back now.

Because she knew that they all had a long road ahead of them.
