What a wonderful story - it definitely brightened my day and put a lot of smiles on my face. I told you many times before and I won't get tires repeating it - I like your mischievous sense of humor a lot!
Hard to decide what gift I liked more in this story, the one that Alexander intended or the one that Hephaistion interpreted! And the final idea with which Alexander couldn't (and I presume, wouldn't) argue, just priceless.

Ah ah,
Alexander is such a big sweetie! I love his idea of spoiling his Phai with magnificent gifts, and he seemed to have good ideas this time (for a change), even though knowing him (especially after the last story), I wonder if he would mess things up again.

This is hysterical! Hephaistion thinking Alexander's gifts were sexual - they were, of course in part. I love the description of the letter Alexander sent him, really masterfully done! This was a great story- you do this so well!
