I LOVED this. It helped to portray the image that Alex is just a teenager in way over his head. And it hits Alex and Yassen's relationship spot on. I don't know why everyone think Alex and him have a romantic relationship. Yassen's like, twice his age. Not that it isn't possible, that just wasn't the kind of relationship I can imagine between them.
Here are the facts. Yassen found himself working against his will as a slave, after his own government caused the death of everyone and everything he had ever known, and had tried to kill him as well. He finally escapes only to end up with the most ruthless criminal organization in the world. John Rider was the only person to ever give Yassen a chance. He taught Yassen, and after saving his life, he became like a surrogate father to Yassen.
Alex has found himself in practically the same situation. Blackmailed by his own government, with all the family he has ever known dead. And so Yassen sees himself in Alex, and his sense of loyalty towards his surrogate father, becomes a sense of loyalty towards Alex, his surrogate brother.
Yassen might be an assassin, but that wasn't what he wanted to be. He has feelings, and he can sympathize with Alex. He doesn't want to see Alex have the same fate he himself had.
Brothers. Not lovers.

This should be a series. It's a PERFECT portrayal of Yassen and Alex's relationship. Not romantic, but brotherly. Finally.

You should continue this story. I wanna see more of a brotherly relationship between Alex and Yassen. Most people either portray Yassen as an evil supervillain who lusts after Alex, or a good guy(ish) romantically involved with Alex. No one ever hits the mark. They have a much more brotherly relationship, and I think you did hit the mark. Please do more.

I liked this portrayal of Yassen. Yassa. Makes him come across much the way I think he would've.

6Sony Boy
Alex beliefs in MI6 always game fe the feels of disparate denial. And Stockholm.
Glad Yassen is alive here and willing to keep saving Alex. Also him focusing on the important thing about John Rider in regards to him (Yassen) and the relationship between Alex and him.
An d an interesting thought that even if MI6 got Alex again, maybe the slave ring will "bag" him and give him back to Yassen or something. Idk where im going with this.
All in all 10/10

The last line had me smiling like a fool. This has to be my favorite story with Alex and Yassen yet!

I liked this! I could see this being continued in some way. I was disappointed that Yassen was killed off. I like reading the stories where he is still alive and seeking some sort of connection or relationship with Alex.

That was awesome! I've always wanted to see a story with Alex and Yassen that has a brotherly relationship. The spelling and grammar was perfect, and the characters stayed, well, in character. I would love to see this story expanded on! I'm greedy and I want more, yeah. If you don't want to continue, I totally get it, but just know if you write a sequel I'll be reading and reviewing all of it! If not, I'll just obsessively read this one :P

I kind of giggled at the ending notes- but, I don't know, maybe that was just me. XD
I thought the ending was really sweet, though. I hummed out a little 'Awww' in my head. :)

Very nice! You know, that's always bothered me-who's to say that MI6 wasn't lying? Who knows? There's no proof either way. It's ultimately up to Alex to decide who he wants to believe, and he chooses to turn away from SCORPIA because of what they openly stand for. I wish I could believe that MI6 was a better choice...
