Love the story. One question that occurred to me about the police arc. They were told to take 6 months with it, and while incident seem that long I assume we had a bit of a time skip with the end of it there? If so, how far along are we in the 3 year cannon time skip? Kind of lost track, but we have to be getting close.

Finally, all the 151 chapters! Congratulations for this, it's huge and it's a pleasure to read!
The arc with the bijuu is hilarious, thank you for that, and the moment with Hidan is hyper intense... Shikaku is a badass.
Poor Shikako, the incident with jashin is globally a huge genocide... But the impact in the long term... I can't wait too see it. (Asuma for exemple, even if he dies, the circumstances are likely to be very different).
Shikako and Shikamaru are still hungry with each other ? They never really settled...

Rereading this story for the umpteenth time. Reading this chapter and some of the recent fights, it feels a bit like just about every serious opponent can just ignore Shikako's tricks, either able to just power through her shadow possession of ignore it for some reason, or her explosives just don't do much. However after thinking about it I realized it was partially perception bias and partially truth. The perception issue is that if her tricks do work, then the fight doesn't really get anywhere, so doesn't seem significant. The other half is that she runs into a lot of fights way outside her weight class and at this point in the story she is still picking up new tricks. Love the story a ton, but just felt like commenting here.

I'm new here and english is not even my first langage but despite my lack of vocab, I love your fic...
I write this review because I listened Hey brother from Avicii with Shikamaru and Shikako in mind and now I'm a little bit overwhelm, between the song and the chap, it's a lot of emotions !
I still have a few chapters to read (80 humhum) but I was so touch, I needed to share that with you

This is AMAZING! Very well drawn out arcs and the plot for the time skip is just mind blowing..kudos to you. I read the entire story three times before I wrote this just to consider all angles and aspects and I have to commend you on how it all works together, the fights, the theories, the emotions even. Just fantabulously written and thought out. And given that Naruto is set to come back soon...oooohh I can't help but anticipate the events that'll follow. This is really really REALLY good. Please keep it up, and more importantly stay safe!

the - line about THEY'RE ALL CURSED at the mission desk - made me laugh so much. like, for all her smarts, shikako just doesn't connect the dots on that one, so it's extra nice to share in the joke about all team 7's "cursed" missions and the fact that the mission desk is twitchy about her!
