Oooh! Let them play!

I want a sequel for this one! and another for "the king's bride"!

(ps, why not just post another chapter? you know, it would be a tad bit easier to follow...)

Keep writing!

I love how many moods Jareth swings through, how his heart soars when Sarah plays the game, yet how it sinks at her cocky smirk at the end where she smirks. They're such a good match, it's amazing. I love your writing and I'm looking forward to more of these oneshot series, if there are more of them :)

Take care and I hope you have a great day!

So now that my story is wrapping up I'm allowing myself to indulge and read more. That's right. I hold myself back from reading new fic too much while writing for two reasons: I'll get distracted and not write and I'll allow others' work to creep into my own idea accidentally (bad writer). So I purposefully abstain which is REALLY hard to do.

So, I really like this other Laby fic of yours. Very trickster Jareth and young but strong Sarah. I especially loved these two sections:

"Sarah vs the Universe."

and this

"And, if I could perhaps have a little time to prepare, I might be able to make the game last longer than the Universe's first move!"

She was! Jareth let a slow, delighted smirk uncurl across his face. She wasn't an expert, of course, nowhere near good enough to fool anything near as tricky as a Fae, but she was playing, and it was a brilliant opening move. "Why, Sarah," he purred. "How unexpectedly… devious of you."

Very cool and I would love to see where you go with this!

Awesome! =) I really like this stories concept, it lends itself really well to Sarah's character development, and so many possibilities for fun! And I really liked how you did Jareth in this one, cunning yet with benevolence, and still a capacity for cruelty, without becoming to dark,a good well rounded Fae character. please post again soon I can't wait to read more.

Intriguing - I eagerly wait to see more. Please don't disappoint.

love it! I always did wonder if the whole peach eating thing would hold any kind of "consequence" for sarah like it did for poor persophone. I always enjoy stories that play on that particular topic. Really well written too.

Nicely done, wonder what he's got planned for her?

This story is definitely unexpected, but definitely good. I'm looking forward to the next one.

I really enjoyed this! Jareth seemed really IC especially. Looking forward to seeing where you go with this.

Oooh. Kickass. I like.

Definitely a promising start for a series, nicely in-character (even down to the film genre-I love that Jareth is just barely holding in the song-and-dance, lol), looks like an interesting twist on the Persephone myth (excellent little barb that she suddenly remembers how the old fairytales went AFTER she gets home...), & vigourously written with lots of tasty detail. All in all, I can't wait to see where you go with this.

I am intrigued. There is a lot of potential here, and I appreciate the characterization of Jareth.

Interesting. Sarah vs. the Universe? Why the Universe, I wonder? I'm curious to see what this game might entail. Any particular reason for one-shots over a chaptered story?

Thanks or sharing! :)
