Anyone who thinks Ainz is suppose to be a good guy is an utter moron and knows nothing about Overlord. Read the books. Even the anime shows this fact pretty easily. AINZ IS NOT A “GOOD GUY”. One of the reasons overlord is soooooo awesome. He does a lot of fucked up shit, the only good aspects to him really is the pursuit of other players, the safety of his family, and somewhat making this world a better place than the world he comes from. But he is evil. With understandable and honorable motivating factors. I will never understand why some people want a kiss ass nice guy as a main character. They are too frequent and always the same. So lame. This story is awesome. This is a reply to a recon comment. That dude can go watch/read some boring good guy story for 9 year olds where there is no such thing as a grey area. Get out lol

I came here to read a story about ainz conquering the world without nazarick, what I got was a horrid story about an OC character that has none of the charm of ainz and acts nothing like he would, none of his goals and ideals just some dick with power, he is not even trying to be the good guy in the story he is just an asshole, if he had accidentally done evil actions I could have tolerated it, but no ainz acts just like the head of mega corporations on his homeworld the people he hates with passion, he kill the innocent and guilty and only want power. This story has no e of the charm and humor that the original is loved for.
If you want a better story of ainz without nazarick I would go read grand foreigner in the crossover section, the ainz in that story still gets a harem but actually behaves and thinks like the ainz from the novel

Ok I REALLY like the main idea of Ainz not having Nazarick at first, but this is progressing FAR to quickly. The mere fact that he was instantly promoted to platinum after killing a bunch of ogres and a war troll is strange, that feat is at most worthy of instant promotion to gold and and consideration for platinum. The killing of the Wyvern on the other hand is something that should not happen under normal circumstances in that world. Dragons and related species are near extinct thanks to the Eight Greed Kings, so you would have to really try to find one. The ONLY conceivable reasons as to why the Wyvern would be attacking is hunger or some dumb ass decided to take something from its treasure horde. Ainz is VERY methodical in his actions, before he does ANYTHING he gathers any information available in order to make an informed decision. He would not instant go for the adventurers guild, not to mention Gazef is somewhat out of character.

Interesting: not knowing the concept of sex or rape could led to the harpies to have different feeling about their fate (they would like it, loathe it, don't know what to think... Interesting scenario)
Interesting also how a new species develops without a progenitor guidance (and also interesting that the harpy player was the one defeated by deep Darkness dragon lord; an amusing chat would ensue about it)
