This is one of my favourite chapters because it captures the cuteness & brattiness of Franziska & how serious she is about learning yet it shows the sadness Phoenix & Larry (even though he acts like well, Larry about it) about Miles & why he's gone. I think it's a nice contrast.
I really liked Miles' POV & the lesson. English is strange like that & I'm sure many have made it so it made since why the woman did, but she was a bitch about it. Yeah Manny isn't going to let Baby Sass just play around even if her "little brother" is teaching her lol
I enjoyed the horse part & Forst is interesting. I liked learning about different things too. I hope you'll do more with horses in later chapters :) I do like how she respects him & her wanting him to have a horse of her own from him & him to keep teaching her
I loved Phoenix's POV I thought it was fantastic because you could just see how upset he was about Miles & how he felt betrayed Larry didn't seem to care..

I love the switches from past & present. I feel like it flows so well. It was nice seeing Maya & Pearl. I love Maya trying to figure out how to help Miles. & That hint! Yes! Love it!
Phoenix's pov was great! I loved him thinking about Miles & their past. The room scene was funny & cute!
Scruffy's POV was amazing. Short & sweet! Yes! Gods I'm so excited about that part!

I just love this part of your story! Baby Sass is the best! You can tell she's spoilt lol. My favourite part was her trying to put syrup on Miles' shirt! Priceless!

The start of the past! I just love how you're doing this! It's beyond precious! I love Franziska & Miles going back to their beginnings. I'm so excited about their adventure!
Baby Sass is the best! She's beyond adorable! I just love how she refused to go to bed & then expected a story . Her reaction to Miles was fantastic! Of course she'd declare him her "little brother" lol.
Miles' POV was great as well. It was nice seeing his thoughts on what had happened & his meeting with his new family. Edda is very sweet & I feel bad for her that she lost her mom.

I really loved the POVs you did in this chapter. I think it really brought the situation into light. Miles' POV with the bit of German & English between him & Sass was really good. It showed her struggles & the need to be comforted, but allowed for us, the audience (as English speakers) & the rest to get an idea of what Sass was saying. It's hilarious Miles got teased over his samurai shows & tried to deny it. I really hope you do a marathon with everyone over. Can you imagine Simon there watching? :D
Sass' POV was so sad. You could feel her struggle to reveal to Katharina about their Papa. I think you're doing a great job on the relationship between Sass & Katharina. You can tell Kathy is very distant from her Papa, but still cares. Rilia was very precious!
Maya's POV was great! I really loved how you added more to her leaving & how she's trying yo be strong because she knows she doesn't have much time. It's what I love about her.
Damn the preview :'( & Miles had such a resolve too!

All has been revealed & it's already starting to destroy Miles & Franny. It's so heartbreaking to see poor Sass wanting answers, but Manny not willing to give them. I love how you use canon banter about the lunch money. The bonds everyone is slowly forming are great!

As always, your writing and dynamic between these characters is surperb! I love the interaction between Franziska & Miles after Franziska whips the taser out of her father's hand to protect Phoenix & Maya! The inner turmoil she has as she struggles between her love for her Papa & Miles, and right & wrong is very well written! I love how Miles & Franziska love & support each other & Miles ensures Franny knows he'll never leave her side. I loved (& hated) the mini flashback of Miles attempting suicide! It was so heartbreaking! :'( I loved them slowly figuring things out, but not pointing fingers just yet & Miles blaming himself for why Manfred wrote the note to Yogi!
Phoenix, Maya, & Larry were great too! I love how Larry's already calling Franziska "Franzy" & wanting to help more, but unable to. He really is sweet! & His thoughts on the possibility of a different murder location wasn't a stupid one! I love Phoenix passion & determination for wanting to help his friend.

I liked the focus in this story, mostly Franziska’s angle during Edgeworth’s trial. We didn’t get to witness it in the game and I never thought of her as being there in the first place, but it totally makes sense to me now. She is a great addition to the defense team and bit by bit is turning rebellious towards von Karma. It’s also a nice though to get some of Phoenix’s point of view and Maya’s as well. I really feel bad for Edgeworth for all he has to deal with it. Poor guy. Anyway, the story is great. Sometimes, I kind of got confused with the dialogue but it’s fine, I got it in my second read. Great job! It’s very interesting so far.
