Just one teeny quibble: Sabretooth shouldn't be able to get anywhere near Westchester when Charles is anywhere in the vicinity, especially when Charles has been warned and is on his guard. Unless Sabretooth is somehow immune to the abilities of one of the greatest telepaths there is, which he shouldn't be.

Okay there is so much going on here that I love and adore omg. Where to start. (Beyond your epic title skills holy crap. I am so excited about the title of the next volume!)
So first of all? I ADORE the way you have Logan, K, and Scott picking on each other and being an adorable family and just being so good and HEALTHY. It's so refreshing to see!
And second of all, I love the Kurt origin here. I like that he actually got to talk to Amanda and Margali so that there isn't that resentment, and I love that Storm was the one who was able to get through to him. Those two are a force unto themselves.
And I LOVE that in a story called 'The Rise of Cyclops', we get to end with Scott waving the flag and really getting to BRAG on his team. He can be incredibly eloquent and inspiring when he wants to be, and it's SO FUN to see him come into his own.

YAY STORM! I love how this is so very similar to the original X-Men stories and yet different, and this is one of the big, major differences. I'm glad that the Fab Five are branching out - and that Jean has another girl on the team now. YAY!
But honestly, Scott and Jean stole the show here. I love their awkward teenage flirting, but most of all, I love the subtle differences in how this universe's events have shaped them as opposed to the comics. They feel a little more daring here (as evidenced by the fact that they are FINALLY KISSING NOW YAY!) but also a little more relaxed and more fun.
It definitely helps that Scott has a family and that Jean has another girl around. And it SHOWS. And I LOVE consequences and character work more than most things, as you know, so it just makes me so flippin happy.

Okay but the best part of this whole chapter is Bobby's reaction. Hands down. He is so hung up on Charles' supervillain friend and it's hilarious omg.
Second best part was when Bobby couldn't pass up the pun opportunity. omg. laughing so hard.
It's so fun to see Erik's first interaction with the X-Men too. He is SUCH a drama queen, even in the early days, and it's really fun to see him here when you've got him over in the K and Erik universe being totally Megalomaniac but here... it's so early that I'm interested to see more. :D

And Tony... omg Tony. You are such a gentle-hearted idiot, and it was so fun to see that penny drop with K when she realized WHY he was being an idiot.

Heather is very greedy; she already has Snowbird and Aurora as teammates, possibly with Marrina. Jan and Jean are the only female members on their respective teams. Also, K must really have been distracted not to snark about the invasion of Canadians.

SO MUCH TEENAGE AWKWARDNESS IN ONE WEDDING omg i love it. I would also like to point out that they still haven't kissed so technically, they haven't beaten Clintasha yet. I'm just sayin'
But omg you can't read this chapter without breaking your face grinning, can you? I submit that it's physically impossible, mkay?
I love everything about this, from the teasing with Mac at the start to the fact that Steve and Jan were witnesses to the DELIGHTED SCOTT all the way through this.
Obviously, the bare hint of relationship drama with jean and warren and scott and farrah was fun for a hot second, but let's be real. Both Farrah and Warren can see how the wind is blowing. You can't stand in the way of Hurricane Marvel's Power Couple.
And they're finally going OUT! YES! AT LAAAAAST

I like how you reviewed my story asking for a Clintasha kiss when you have THIS for a chapter update today. Um excuse you. I am DYING over here with how sweet they are. WHERE IS THE JEAN AND SCOTT KISS, HMMM?
Seriously, I love the fact that you're bringing in Jean's love of fashion, and seeing her and Jan interacting when she's this young and excited is so fun. And as usual, Jan steals the show, this time with the entire "well, on the OFF CHANCE that you get pregnant..." routine. Omg Jan you are not sneaky. At all. Not even a little bit. And I love you for it.
The boys' reactions to Jean were all completely spot-on, too. They are such BOYS and I love it. Omg. Total dorks.

So. Much. Adorable. Awkwardness. And I love it to itty bitty pieces omg. These two kids are just so perfect for each other, dancing around each other and trying to feel each other out, and it is SO true to form for how actual teenagers interact omg. They are such basket cases and I love them.
But oh man. Poor Logan and poor Scotty. No one wants to relieve the crap that sinister pulls, but those two boys in particular have had it rough with Essex. Although I did enjoy getting to see a tiny Scott let loose on Essex in the memory, tbh. I'm of the opinion that Essex should be blasted through doors and walls as many times as possible.
I seriously can't wait for Scott and Jean to figure each other out and just DATE because omg they're killing me. KILLING ME.

So many fun bits! I can see Tony popping by just to show off new scanners and Jan coming for costume repairs which, naturally, requires measurements. Instant Buffs with Jan and Jean; I can also see Jan wishing she could take Jean home to the Tower. Those poor, deluded boys at the beginning letting their enthusiasm get the better of them. Mama Bear K says NO! LOL

Jean is here, though! And I am LOVING the awkward back and forth between these two. I love that they get to be teenagers and that they get to stumble and trip over themselves and that they're just GOOBERS. I love that about these two: no matter what universe they're in, they find each other... and fall all over themselves.
Jan of course always steals the show whenever she shows up in a chapter, let's be real. Just... any scene she's in automatically has me grinning because she's so hilarious. The fact that she's got money riding on K being pregnant too is just amazing. Everything about that bet (and Jean making Scott laugh!) was pure perfection.
I just love how Scott turns into a puddle of awkward around Jean omg. K's right: history is repeating itself.

Oh man what a roller coaster ride - again! We all knew that Scott was in trouble at the end of the last chapter, and those poor fledgling X-Men have never had to deal with anything like Victor Creed, so you really have to feel for them here. K's trick with the carbonadium was perfection but of course, my favorite part had to be Bobby 'I have a concussion. ow' Drake. He is hilarious.
And I ADORE that Scott is just... totally on board with the idea of K joining the family. That boy is such a family man, to the point that I'm surprised Logan even had to ask. As Scott pointed out, it's not like he's been subtle about his opinions on this particular matter ;)
And of course, I'm so tickled with how the WHOLE group is becoming a family. It's not just Scott and his parents - it's the whole team. The found family aspect of X-Men stories has always been the best part of the Xavier's crew, so seeing that start to really coalesce here... ugh. It just... it just makes my heart so flippin happy.

Seriously, though, this whole thing is packed with awesome. I loved that all of Scott's new friends were trying to hit on Farrah's sister, and I love that she didn't freak out on him when he told her he was a mutant. Scott really needed to see that: he needed to see that there are people out there who aren't going to form a mob just because they find out your genetics are different. It's little, but it's a great confirmation of The Dream.
And on the other end of the spectrum, you have Creed coming to mess things up, and boy, does he mess things up. I love the fact that K was so frustrated with Logan for not talking to her (inner comics scott says 'welcome to my world') but I love the totally realistic aspect of a bunch of teenage boys thinking they've got this handled. They absolutely would be overconfident in this case, and you really feel for them when they realize just how much they've screwed up.
And of course, now I'm worried for Scott because you know Creed was already gunning for him because Logan adopted him... add in the fact that he let slip a 'mom' about K and I am VERY CONCERNED.

Okay. Listen. Bobby's entire 'Nooo Scotty I had NO IDEA you were a pilot!' schtick had me laughing. so. hard. I LOVE that you're letting these guys be teenage boys who tease each other mercilessly and mess around. They're KIDS, and I love that you let them be kids!
Of course, I was also grinning over how FAST Scott got on board the 'we gotta go get Hank McCoy' train as soon as he heard that his family was being threatened. Family Man Summers ain't gonna let that nonsense happen on his watch, no sirree!
I also really loved the conversation that Hank and Scott had toward the end of the chapter about evolution and philosophy. Even if it was couched in teenage boy terms, right there, we have sort of the summary of everything that the X-Men are about. And I love the acknowledgement that a lot of the mutations are physical. It's true: all of them have physical manifestations of their powers thus far. (Just wait, boys lol)
I am LOVING seeing the X-Men come together in this universe! I love reading these teenybopper versions of the heroes we know and love and I just ... (glomps this story)
