The retaking of Kazad-dum, huh. From my understanding, the canon war involved only orcs and dwarves, and went very poorly for the dwarves, leading to Thorin being the prince of a broken and scattered people. Hopefully it will go better with the aid of Men and Elves, but I doubt Durin's Bane will sit idly by when Harry enters the mountains proper.
Great work! Your chapters are so captivating that I have a hard time taking breaks to eat and sleep.

6Naramyon
Being able to save the one is more than enough. -
okay... I understand the whole 'having to dry clothes out after getting them wet' but wool is practically magic in and of itself, because wool Stays Warm Even When Wet. That's why it's such a popular fabric for clothing in wet, cold climates.
Cotton, on the other hand, might as well be tissue paper. Good for keeping cool in warmer climates, though.
I do believe that Harry is on the right track to understanding wandless magic.
Elf food stopped burning Harry because he stopped using the Black Speech.
I wonder where that river springs from, that it acts as a barrier to keep the evils infecting the Greenwood from spreading northward.
xD I find it hilarious that these people see a walking stick and think 'wizard' when Gandalf goes around using 'old man with a walking stick' routine to hide that he's a wizard.
